  Galing mo naman. So mas ok ba pag walang specific skill set?para mas madami ma applyan?

  Diko masasabi yan. Pero opinion ko lang ha, kapag kasi IT specialist ka, you'll have to wait far longer para makuha mo yung swak na swak sa skill set mo whereas kapag generalist (mas mababa sweldo sympre) ka, mas maraming choices kasi you just need to have knowledge/minimal exposure sa hinihingi nilang requirement. Ako kasi priority ko lang magkatrabaho ang start earning

  @Khorups Congrats to you! same pla tayo ng date of departure but my destination is melbourne. i'm also in IT, with a development background on mixed set of technologies (c#, asp.net, sql). very challenging ang interview process. i've gone to 3 client interviews. all with techie questions. first 2 interviews i failed becoz they we're looking for strong web design/dev experience which i lacked. outdated na ang web programming skills ko. it's indeed true that it is a combination of luck, right timing and fervent prayers. i got an offer on my 3rd interview (1 month after arrival). so i'm saying, surely God has something prepared for everyone. Just be patient, persevere and keep the faith. Goodluck!
