Frontloading of Medical: Is it a good strategy?

Guys.. need your advise.. im still waiting for CO to be assigned for my application. While waiting, I'm planning to already have my medical so that it will be ready for assessment (assuming it's finalized quickly)... Do you think this is a good strategy? In other forum that I've read, they dont want to have medical early since the latest date of entry is also dependent on this..

Pls let me know what you guys/gals think..

hi! we applied for visa 175 last June we front loaded our medicals & PCC... Our visas were granted exactly 3 days after CO was allocated Yun nga lang kung kelan na finalize yung medical same date next year yung initial entry date medyo mapapaaga lang yung initial entry date

hello po! Question lang im in delimma if im going to schedule my medical or wait na lang sa CO assignment. Natatakot kc ako baka may expiration yun visa application, baka kakahintay ko ng CO eh inexpired na nila application ko. Since hindi naman ako nagmamadali sa pagalis at pinapaayos ko muna yun bahay namin at nagpapababa pa ako ng weight, oks sakin na madelay yun initial entry date pero not to the extent na hindi na makaalis. Please be guided kung ano ba ang right way to do kung magpapamedical na ba now or wait for CO? Slamat po.

@orengoreng you can actually wait yung CO mo sabihan ka, makikinibang ka sa pag aantay.
Ang nakikita ko lang po na advantage ng frontload kung wala ka naman problem sa medical atleast andyan na and yun nga lang ang validity ng medical mo soon as ma release ang mag start na dun. Then para dun naman sa may problem sa medical, frontloading will give a good idea kung ano ang dapat i address though proven na ito na kapag na referred ka eh talagang magtatagal.

Kung nasabi mo na nagpapababa ka ng weight, meron po ba kayo problem sa BP nyo? medyo mahigpit kasi sila dun....so makakatulong ang pag papaba bago ka mag pa medical eh mas maganda.

para namang mabilis ang processing ngayon. compared back in 2008 when we applied so we frontloaded our medicals to cut the waiting time. just remember, the most DIAC can accept your meds is 6 months after the 12 months, or 18 months from date it was finalised. we frontloaded our meds in 2008, finalised 8Dec08. the expiry was 8Dec09. our visa was granted 18May10 after I confirmed with CO we can enter Australia before 8Jun10 which was the 18th month after it was finalised. the option CO gave was enter before 8/6/10 or redo meds. in 3 weeks after visa grant we did our initial entry. unless you foresee any problem that may cause your application to drag, i suggest you wait or you might be subjected to a lot of stress like us

this is the exact email of my CO on 17May2010 before visa grant : your application is ready to finalise however I am concerned that the initial entry date of 8 June 2010 may be difficult for you to make. This is the date your medicals expire (after 6 month extension). I am unable to extend this date further.
Please advise as quickly as possible if you are able to make your initial entry to Australia by that date or if you prefer to redo your medicals.

@legato09, obese kc ako tsaka may hypertensive pero d naman masyado mataas 130/90 pag relax hehe pag stress 140/90 omg Baka tumaas pato sa medical dahil sa stress. Hehe dapat d mastress kundi bayad ulit sa redo ng medical. Sana talaga magrant ako ng visa na ang entry date eh sa dec 2014 pa. Dami ko pa kc gusto gawin, pero gusto ko rin magabroad. Para baliw lang nun malayo pa gusto na maapprove ngayon malapit na gusto magpadelay. pero I'm thankful to God at sana He will make me prepare when it comes. ah Talagang di ka nag iisa, dahil pareho tayo hehehehe. Mataas ang 130/90 I'm telling you and yung mga accredited clinics medyo mahigpit sila pagdating sa bp.... during the time of my medical 4x ako kinuhanan ng BP within 3hrs siguro....then pinabalik na lang ako after a week. During that week wala ako ginawa kundi kumain ng fruits, inom ng maraming tubig, lakad, jog kapag may time para bumaba ang BP ko, ayun after almost 8 days bumalik ako mababa na sya ;-)

Also it depend on your visa subclass. Just like for me my visa is onshore so i choose to frontload everything before having a CO coz I don't have on what u called IED..

Just a piece of advise, for those in a 457 visa at the moment and planning to apply PR subclass 187 and planning to get an agent, complete everything including medicals and PCC of main and dependent applicant and tell your agent to declare it as decison-ready application so that it will only take 1-3 weeks processing. Is a waste of money and time if you will get an agent and don't declare it as decision ready coz you will go through to 6-9 months processing time. And only agent has the authority to declare an application as decision ready.

Usually one year after your PCC issuance or Medicals; whichever is earlier...

Hi tanung ko lang sa may mga visa na, after ba ng medicals, pano mlalaman kung referred sa MOC or finalised na ung results? ung clinic ba ung mag uupload ng results online using the HAP Id or ung DIAC na mismo. anu kaya average waiting time para malaman ung results. Thank you.

- pano malalaman kung referred? - minsan sinasabi ng CO..
- if your clinic is "ehealth" , yes sila maguupload ng medical results nyo..
- walang makapagsabi kung anu na ang waiting time to know the result.. best way is check your eVisa kung completed na ang medical status.. or ask your CO kung na-finalised na ba (meaning okay na)..

Hi, tanung ko lang sa mga may visa na. Napansin ko kasi na nawala na ung link para sa medicals pero wala pa nman akong CO? Nagpamedical ako nung Sept 5, then ngayon nawala bigla ung link. Please Advise. thank you
