    Guys, I would like to personally thank @lock_code2004 for the support and help. This forum really helped a lot especially to visa grantees and those who are still finding their ways to make it to the land down unda'h.

    From CO allocation, chini-check ko first thing in the morning is my email, today... visa grant na rin kami and we will be moving soon to SA... kaya I salute you mga sir and ma'am who contributed their huge inputs in this website at lalong lalo na sa mga queries ko at pangungulet hehehe.. eto po sila...

    hanggang kailan po valid ang visa for initial entry from date of issuance?
    medyo malabo ang tanong mo?

    pero eto:
    - 5 years valid ang visa upon approval, but you can stay in AU permanently (for PR visas)
    - approx 1 year ang requirement na makapag initial entry ka from the date of approval
    yung pangalawa po ang ibig ko sabihin. salamat sir. may iba kasi nagsabi yung initial entry is 1 year from submission ng nbi or medical, kung sino ang nauna, dun daw i-base.

    @habibi oh yes tama nga po yun nga ang basis ng IED.. Approx 1 year from either your medical/PCCs... So may effect kung masyado ka maaga nagpamedical..

    Mali yung statement ko sa taas na "from visa grant date"..

    August 15, 2013: CO emailed me regarding additional documents. Currently in the Philippines. Applied for NBI clearance.
    August 27, 2013: Medical at St. Luke's. Pinabalik ako.haha!
    September 2, 2013: Received NBI Clearance.
    September 8, 2013: Back in UAE. Immediately applied for police clearance.
    September 10, 2013: Received UAE Police Clearance. Uploaded final documents.
    September 11, 2013: Visa Grant Notice received via email. Nostalgic. I miss you,mama. This is for you. I love you.

    November 2012 - Visa lodgment
    December 2012 - Allocated Team Adelaide
    January 2013 - NBI, Police Clearance (Libya), Medicals Submitted and Finalized
    March 2013- Additional documents requested (because I am working in Libya, it took time to get all the requested documents in Manila)
    August 2013 - Financial documents, pay slips (Manila), taxation docs, etc. (I did not comply because I was in Libya for 5 years but my legal agents did something)
    September 9, 2013 - Visa Grant

    @staycool - salamat! WA, ang nakuha kong work ay sa Pilbarra, yung sa iba sa Perth. I will choose as soon as I get there. Sa 30 na po ang flight ko, staying here with my family in Singapore after Libya. Dito ko natanggap ang visa grant!!! Thank God! buti na lang at dinala ko na lahat ng gamit ko sa Libya and no need to go back there.
