kakakuha ko lang din email..suitable and AQF bachelor ang binigay nila..as expected minus 4 years sa experience, 3 years lang ang naconsider as skilled. ok na din 20 points from ACS + 30 points for age..IELTS ang kelangan panghatak..

congrats sa mga nakatanggap ng positive assessments..and good luck sa mga naghihintay..personally more than 3 months un sken..pero alam ko yun 12 weeks na timeline eh mag start the day the application went to Stage 4..yun sken, iirc, after 10 days sya na update to stage 4..sakto lang sa exoectation ko na first week of Nov

@jcb00025, as in walang binawas na experience? may we know ano po yun course and yun years of experience nyo po

@fyi_12, naka tatlong companies ako at dalawa lang dun ang IT so ineexpect ko na talaga na di icocount ang first one. Tama lang, yung experience na ibinigay for the 2nd and 3rd companies. My course is ECE, 5 years experience ang na consider so I can declare 10 points.

suitable for migration
tapos paragraph about sa education..i.e. comparable to AQF Bachelor degree major in computing. then next paragraph, the following employment after "date" is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level (dito po nalalaman kung ilan yun years of experience na deducted) kase ang consider lang nila un skilled employment after the date na inidicated.

edit : parehas pa tayo ng course hehehe pero ako 7 years pure IT experience...pero 3 years lang ang considered as skilled..expected ko ito kase un course ko though comparable to AQF bachelor degree, ndi closely related yun work experience ko as analyst programmer kaya yun 3 years (5 points lang pede ko claim). swerte mo hehehe

Binasa ko yung Skills Assessment Guidelines for Applicants and found this info.

"Please Note:
- Employment references MUST contain an end date or the work episode will be assessed as not suitable.
- The term, “To Date” cannot be used as the end date of the employment reference. "

Paano kapag you are still employed in a company for a contract of 2 years, pwede ba ilagay yung contract date mo sa COE for example January 2013 to January 2015? kasi di ata pwede yung January 2013 - Present or pwede? since sabi MUST contain an end date.

Can someone share his experience?

@the_adventurer - my employment reference has no end date. It says "From ..... to present", I still got a positive assessment. They based the "end date" on the date the letter was made.

I misinterpreted the notice

On your profile it says VIC SS approved. How do you apply for State Sponsorship? Kasama na ba ni-specify mo pag send mo ng EOI tpos bahala na ang DIAC magdecide kung may state na magsponsor sayo? or is there a separate application for this before sending an EOI?

What if no state is willing to sponsor you, will you be allowed to apply for 189 visa instead of 190?

hello to all.

I just received my assessment after 15 weeks of wait.
"Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 263111 (Computer Network and
Systems Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code."

They recognized all my experiences of more than 10 years na walang bawas.
They also recognized my Microsoft certifications as "assessed as comparable to an AQF Diploma with a major in computing"

The only problem is there is no mention of my degree which is Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology.
I graduated more than 15 years ago.

I already sent a letter about this just now, and I will wait for their reply.

So currently from the ACS result I have, does this mean I can only claim 10 pts. which is a diploma recognized by ACS?

"Your Bachelor of Science(BSECE) degree has been assessed as having insufficient ICT content and therefore cannot be considered toward your assessment.
The ACS can only assess and report on relevant ICT degrees."

Yung iniisip ko lang more than 15 years na kasi ako nag graduate and yung computer subjects noon siguro is hindi na related sa ngayon.Marami kaming computer related subjects from 3rd to 5th year BSECE sa Mapua.
Sa forum dito marami na recognized na BSECE as degree equivalent. Yun nga lang recently sila graduated, less than 10 years.
I look at the big picture na lang that I got a positive assessment and more than 10 years experience approved.
Sayang yung 5 pts na nabawas sa qualifications.

@the_adventurer - yes, i have specified sa EOI na I'm interested on both 189 and 190 pero need mo pa rin mag apply ng state sponsorship seperately. You need to check which state open for sponsorship ang nominated occupation mo. You can check each state's official website for details. For Victoria, you can check http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/

@fyi_12 thanks. 2005 dn ako ng graduate and from section 2 school dn. Worry ko dn kc ung experience ko. May 4 yrs call center experience ako n d ganun related sa 263111.pero may telco experience ako n 2yrs 5mts nd currently working sa another telco for 8 months. Ung 2yrs 2months exp mo lang b ang nacredit ng acs? Ano work mo within the said time frame? Thanks ulet and congrats sa positive acs results. Naway makakuha dn kami ng good results gaya mo.

@Abraham...sakto 7 years ang experience ko sa IT nun nag send ako ng application sa ACS (mga programming related jobs ang experience ko..not ECE related hehe)...binawas yun 4 years sa experience kaya 3 years lang ang assessed as skilled employment.

yan nagbgay sken ng idea kung ano yun pedeng assessment ni ACS sa skills ko..since yun course ko bachelor ict major..pero yun nominated occupation ko (analyst programmer) hindi closely related sa course ko..kelangan ko at least 4 years experience para masabi na skilled na ako.

i suggest..check mo gun definition nun nominated occupation mo para magma idea ka. ganun case ginawa ko.

Hi! newbie lang po.
ask ko lang po some questions re ACS Skills assessment. I'm on the stage of requirements gathering pa lang. ang idedeclare ko na occupation is systems administrator since based sa mga naresearch ko yun na closest occupation for SAP Basis. I started my SAP basis job in 2006. but prior to that eto po ung list ng job titles ko:
oct 2001-oct 2004 : software development engineer
nov 2004 - march 2005 : IT consultant/developer
april- july : IT consultant/QA
aug 2005- oct 2005: IT consultant/developer
nov 2005-july 2006 : software test engineer
dec 2006- present SAP basis

Questions po:
1. Pwede ko po ba innominate system admin since mas mahaba experience ko dun and sya ang present job ko?
2. ang isasubmit ko lang na COE ung sa 1st job and ung sa SAP BASIS ko 'coz un lang ung regular jobs ko, problem ko lang po makiquestion po kaya ung nov 2004 til nov 2006 ko?
3. since 3 years ung sa 1st job ko, un na po kaya ang ibabawas ng ACS para dun sa min 2 yrs deduction kahit na software dev engr ang title ko dun? o dun po sila babawas sa nominated occupation experience ko?

Please help po.nalilito po ako.d ko alam kung isasubmit ko na application ko given my 3 COEs.

ang hirap mag match ng anzsco, pede na ba kahit isang job description duty at yung iba bawi na lang sa ICT units? pede ako sa systems admin, computer network and systems engineer, pede rin sa ICT support engineer.

Mga sir nakapag pa notarize nako ng documents ko at isa-submit ko napo sa ACS, tanong ko lang po kung ok lang ba na 'Certified Machine Copy' ang nakalagay? Yun kasi nilagay nung attorney pero ang sabi sa ACS requirement ay 'Certified True Copy'. TIA

Nag mock entry po ako sa ACS Skills Assessment and I came across these three requirements:

- Organization chart
- Statutory Declaration
- Skilled Employment Reference Letter

1. I am on a non-RPL path. Required po ba sa akin yung Organization Chart? If yes, what kind of org chart do i need? Can anyone please share a "sample" ?

2. If my Skilled Employment Reference Letter is detailed/complete, do I still need to secure a Statutory Declaration?

2. complete po meaning may letterhead, job description at signed by senior colleague or boss. according po sa documents thread sufficient na po. kailangan lang ng statutory kung di nakalagay sa company letterhead.

1. Natanong ko na ito dati and yung nag advise sa akin pumasa ng hindi sya ngpasa ng Org chart. Ang ginawa ko, gumawa pa din ako at nag pasa. Sa unang employer ko, pinirmahan naman pero yung second, ayaw kasi confidential daw. So ang napasa ko lang yung sa first employer ko. In God's name... pumasa naman. Normal org chart lang naman yun. Ang ginawa ko ay org chart na nasa top yung highest position ng company then branched down showing my position. Then I request this din to be printed under my first company's letterhead then nilagyan ko ng signed by my manager including contact details at position. Take note na hindi ako RPL path ha.

I suggest to do a mock application para makita ninyo kung ano yung mga details na kelangan i fill up pati paano ang oraganization ng mga documents. Ginawa ko ito dati. You can do it naman then wag mo muna i submit. Save mo lang muna then pag confident ka na sa mga details mo, saka mo na submit and pay.

hello, question po uli. im scanning all my documents na, napansin ko lang. meron akong isang employer, hindi na ako binigyan ng COE with job description wala rin gustong pumirma sa mga ex colleagues ko na andun pa. ngayon ang ginawa ko kumontak ako ng ex colleague ko na nakatrabaho ko dun sa company na yun pero nagresign na rin sya dun. nagpagawa na lang ako ng statutory declaration sa kanya with her COE sa company na yun notarized and ctc-ed.

tanong ko lang po kailangan ko pa ba gumawa ng self-statutory that i'm unable to secure a coe with job description from my previous employer, and unable to make someone sign sa employment reference sa colleague ko na andun p?

One of the companies I worked on will not provide Job Description to Certificate of Employment (COE) due to confidentiality reasons; instead, they will provide a Certificate of Explanation stating that the company does not issue such. However, ACS requires employment references containing Duties/Responsibilities. Has anyone encountered the same situation? What did you do?

Has anyone submitted at least one COE that does not contain a Job Description but given a 'suitable' result?
