@abbygailmbn Yes 2 yrs pero hindi ba pts system din ang nurses kahit dumaan sa conversion program? I was able to get 60 pts for my EOI kahit fresh grad lang ako e.
@MissAussie with regards to invite, uunahin muna iinvite ang 189. Pag may natirang slots, dun lang iinvite ang 489 relative sponsored. Depends din sa occupation yun e, so I suggest that magpasa nalang kayo ng EOI regardless.
@ej0904 no ielts? Maybe not all schools. Pero kahit ano aaralin, you still need a score of 5.5 at the least. Focus more on what will happen to you after you study, di lang yung short-term goal na nandun ka within the year pero di ka naman pala pwede…
@shye428 85 pts after family sponsorship? Ang alam ko the occupation only needs to be in the mltssl to be eligible for nomination. Perth is a designated area so I think ok lang yun. May 489 fs din ako dun e.
@abbyzc to give you an idea, i submitted an eoi with 60 pts way back sept 2017 and til now wala pa ako invite. 60 pts makes you eligible but syempre mauunang mainvite yung higher pts so its not a guarantee.
@hardz not necessarily pero you need to be convincing on why you want to purse another field. Gagawa ka nh statement of purpose if im not mistaken for that matter.
@hardz hmm let's wait for other's opinions here, pero definitely kailangan BS accounting in my opinion. Kasi you will need to nominate that occupation, tapos ang ipapakita mo ibang degree ang natapos mo. Think about that carefully kasi ang accountin…
@hardz depends on what bachelor's degree you plan on taking. Nasa MLTSSL po ba yun o STSOL? I cannot stress this enough - di sapat yung aral lang. Try to take my case for example:
1. I graduated BS Electronics Engg sa UST, with a positive assessmen…
@hardz no. What matters is the course that you study. Ano po ba trabaho nyo dito sa pinas? Bottom line is dapat alam mo gagawin mo AFTER mo mag aral kasi di direct path to pr ang student visa.
@hardz check the au study requirement muna if yung balak mong course is eligible to claim pts for. PR is still points tested, so if your occupation is not on the list that they have, wala rin mangyayari sa study.
I know someone na inaaral ang same courses na yan (leadeship and management) but that person already has a bachelors in electronics engg dito sa pinas, so what he's doing is getting the 2 year au study requirement padagdag points sa pr. Now if you d…
If you plan to get pr after studying, i suggest studying something na nasa list nila ng needed occupations. Unless yung occupation nyo ngayon is nasa mltssl, then baka pwedeng di ka na mag student.
@riseendreev since patapos na ata fiscal year nag iinvite na sila ng non pro ratas kasi all year round puro pro rata nainvite e. Kakaintroduce lang ng MLTSSL so sana naman wag sila mag alis ng occupations agad hehe.
@mslakay pro rata din po akin e pero nakita ko may mga nainvite sa immitracker na 489 family nung nagreset last july 2017. Will not hurt giving it a go.
@athelene Thanks! But I highly doubt that the institiution I'm planning (DNA Kingston Training) is exempted since it's not a uni. So I still probably need to provide proof of finances still.
@galf10333 highly unlikely po sad to say. May nabasa akong case dito na kahit may exp na sya na 8 yrs di pa rin positive assessment. Prc is mandatory for schools other than section 1.
*will post my question here since eto lang ata ang 485 thread
Guys, on the 485 Graduate work stream, how do you prove that the course you studied in AU is 'closely related' to your nominated occupation? Thanks
