@abbygailmbn Hi, you should contact your OSHC to adjust your coverage date until October 31, 2019 and submit the new OSHC policy to DHA. Tell your OSHC provider that DHA calculated a different end date of the course. With a July intake, your visa wi…
@OZingwithOZomeness thank you very much for the advice!
Question po.
@dauntless Lots of threads have covered/answered this question, you could've backread some older threads.
@camillegomezz No, typical time to apply is 3 months before. In my case kasi I had to apply early because I wanted to have my medicals done abroad. You should have applied for your school way before kasi it's possible na matagal ang processing both …
@mahbi To get an unconditional offer, the applicant has to fulfill all the entry requirements stipulated by the university (listed on uni website). Some schools only give conditional offers kung kulang yung documentation, like IELTS results.
@sette Did you apply directly to the university/school or via agent?
@sette Ah so you're still applying to schools pa lang ang not yet the visa? Maybe you can provide details about your situation so we'd have an idea on what could be the problem? Are you shifting to a different course or do you already have family in…
@sette Ah oki. Baka pwede po na sa next application nyo i-emphasize nyo po yung potential job opportunities sa pinas (related to your course), familial obligations (caring for parents or children, etc), managing your business (kung meron po kayo), o…
@RheaMARN1171933 Hmm, I haven't really thought of it that way. And yeah, I've heard that Australia does change their laws very often. Then I'll get started on my skills assessment; hopefully I can get a positive assessment~ *fingers crossed* Thank y…
@sette Did they indicate which part of the visa application was the problem? DHA assesses the visa application based on a lot of factors. It could be your travel history, GTE statement, course selected, financial proof, etc.
@Au_Vic In my case, my visa was issued 3 weeks from the time I submitted my visa application. I would say just keep following up with IDP, super overloaded siguro sila kasi yung pinsan ko hirap nga din magpa-appointment sa dami ng clients nila. Pila…
@RheaMARN1171933 I see. Thank you for the information and advice, I really appreciate it! I have not lodged my EOI nor applied for skills assessment, as I am still considering whether to get it done right away or to wait until I get more work experi…
@katniss2015 thank you for the detailed to-do list!
@kaidenMVH how much po ba LASIK sa pinas?
@Ellabelle Maybe you can backread the posts in the ACS thread, baka meron similar case sa iyo and you can follow their strategy to get a positive assessment. Which state/territory do you plan to go? Have you looked at job opportunities in ACT and Ta…
@Ellabelle You'll have to weigh your options on this one--either you appeal to ACS for reassessment (maybe check the ACS thread if someone had modified their COE to list skills oriented more to the nominated occupation), or consider applying as ICT …
@krishnaz negative po yung ACS skills assessment mo? or did ACS advise you to do qualifications assessment to supplement your ACS assessment? maybe you can contact VETASSESS directly if the qualifications assessment (non-485 visa purposes) will take…
@RheaMARN1171933 You mean if I change jobs or get promoted and I want my new situation recognized, I need an re-assessment? But if I just continue with the last job listed in the full skills assessment (meaning I've gained additional years of experi…
