Hey Everyone! Admin here, It's a bit overdue but I will be migrating our forum site to a new platform for better security. I will take out all the ads as well as these pesky spammers. Please expect a bit of issues here and there, and will slowly move the features to the new one. Don't worry we are very much alive and will be alive as long as I'm here :)
@leah28 yes yong 489 same process-skilled migrant din sya kaya lang provisional..you have4 years to comply the req to apply for PR 887 visa..around 300$ ang fee
@leah28 yong 489 di na points system..kailangan lang macomply mo yong 2 years residency and 1 year fulltime(any work, pwede di tuloytuloy basta 35 hrs per week) to apply for PR :-)
@dantz15 pero ang ginagawa ng mga ibang automatic convert, nageenrol pa rin for few days/hours of driving lessons to familiarize right hand driving and road rules..beating the red light can cost you $450 and 3 demerit points..
@dantz15 if you have SG licence, automatic convert na to Au licence without the theory test and practical driving..total cost around 300-400AUD( excluding the DL fee depending on the number of years validity you wanted)
@markbarquin SG license can be converted to Au license without taking the test and the practical driving test, so its more advantageous...bakit naman may implications? Di naman tatanungin paano ka nagkaroon ng SG licence...just familiarise yourself …
@tictac yong family sponsored na 489 visa is provisional..di pa permanent...you can apply PR visa after 2 years provided you lived 2 yers and worked 1 year fulltime in designated area
@tictac yes, addtl 10 points if sponsored by family..kung kaya mo 60 points without family sponsorship..mas mabuti kasi may condition yong visa mobpag sponsored
@FrenchMilk the more documents to support your claims, the better...guide lang yang nilalagay nila sa list. They dont limit you to upload docs you think na makakatulong sa application mo
You can be sponsored under 489 visa family sponsored but skilled migrant category pa rin and your skill should be in SOL, you can check www.border.gov.au for other options..the english req is based on the min required for your skill, you can claim …
I think pwede ka naman magpakasal anytime dito sa Au but hindi ibig sabihin non na automatic ka mabibigyan ng panibagong visa once nagexpire yong TVisa mo..you still need to apply
guys, you can see here the summary of changes. http://www.workvisalawyers.com.au/news/entry/changes-for-the-migration-programme-in-the-new-fiscal-year-2015-16.html
@jrgongon kung pwede ka mag skilled migrant visa, go for it..pinipilit ka lang ng agent mo para mabilis maapprove visa mo..unless pagiging student talaga ang purpose mo..i suggest wag ka na mag agent, basa basa lang sa website, madali lang..may mga …
@J_Oz CPAA can give you positive skills assessment by only looking kung nacomply/studied mo yong required core knowledge areas...unlike you ther assessing bodies, so pwede syang di magdeclare ng work experience
@cpa_oct2011 i was trying to find yong info na lahat na ng assessing bodies will follow what ACS is doing...kung di pa rin for CPAA then its good...but i think when you submit your visa application, you still need to provide your work experience for…
@J_Oz yon nga sabi ko sa kanya..if ako ang tanungin, even umabot oa ng 100 yong score ko by declaring my work experience, im sure na maiinvite agad ako...based in his/her previous comment, di sya sure kung related yong current work experience nya do…
@cpa_oct2011 magpapaasses ka pa lang pala...i was implemented earlier this year(if im not mistaken) that all assessing bodies will now require minimum no. Of years experience to be deemed skilled in their nominated occupation..this was implemented b…

@cpa_oct2011 nabasa ko lang sa isang site...The date on which an applicant becomes ‘skilled’ may be different from the date that an assessing authority finds that the person meets their requirement for a suitable skills assessment. For example, an a…
@cpa_oct2011 don sa skills assessment mo wala bang details of work experience even though na yong education lang naging basis? Sa akin kasi nakaitimized yong work experience for the past 10 years...kung wala don, wala naman siguro problema....pero k…
@cpa_oct2011 i see, ikaw pa lang naencounter ko na ayaw ng additional points he he...and to think yang skill mo is sought after sa eoi, mabilis mafillup. The higher the points the better the chances kasi nasa top ka...unless you want na everytime na…
@cpa_oct2011 youre saying wala ka pa work experience or below 3 years na kahit na ilagay mo sa EOI wala din effect sa points? I hope i got it right :-)
@cpa_oct2011 just try to be consistent in the info you provided..nakaitemized naman yata ang work experience mo don sa skills assessment? Tapos wala ka idedeclare don sa EOI..when you apply for the actual visa, tatanungin uli yang work experience mo.
