Passport renewed, what happens if I get invited?

Hi All,

I just got my superior PTE yesterday and as per this forum, since I'm now an 80 pointer, I'll be invited next round (crossing fingers). Now I have a question, I have renewed my passport last month and I wonder if this is going to affect my application since the one I have on my EOI is the old passport number?

if ma invite ka options mo is to upload a form yata for change or Submit a new EOI with the new passport number. Sureball narin yung ITA mo kasi 80points kana.

@atonibay Ok lang ba na 2 EOI ko for 189? I think for 190 ok lang sya as long na different states.

Not sure about sa query mo pero sabi dito sa website ay pwd daw multiple EOI basta you can provide the points, documents and other details.

"There is no limitation on how many Expressions of Interest you can submit in SkillSelect. However, you must be able to provide evidence on all the claims you have made to achieve your points score. If you do not accept your invitation we cannot guarantee that you will receive another invitation."

Pero if comfortable ka sa current EOI mo at pwd naman mag upload ng form (i forgot which form to use).

Hndi ba naeedit ang EOI? Diba iaadjust mo yun para maging 80 pointer ka na (Since naging superior na yung PTE mo). Isabay mo na din ang pag edit ng passport details m. (Kung pwede)

Pwd mo naring e suspend yung current EOI mo tapos gawa ka nalng ibang SkillSelect account using new email address para sureball na ITA next month.

@atonibay Hi Sir, meron akong nabasa sa mga forums na pag may ITA na, pwede mo naman ilagay yung mga old passport mo dun and new passport. Then may form for update of passport details. Yun na lang kaya para hindi doble doble ang submission ko?

@carlosau You can update your details (new passport number) through your immi account kapag may ITA ka na. Naupdate mo ba yung Skill Select mo for your new PTE score? Ang alam ko pwede pa siyang maedit kapag wala ka pang invitation.

@Cassey Hi Miss Cassey, so I can retain my old EOI and just update my immi account? No need to create a new EOI, right?

Another question, I have an existing immi account pala (previous work has sent me to australia 2x), I can use it for this application, right?

pwd din yan as long makikita ng CO yung new passport details. Upload mo nlang new+old passport details, form 80, Birth Cert, mga payslips, CoE, SSS, ITR at kung anu pang mga documents. Sana maiwasan mo yung CO contact para DG na.

@carlosau Hehe Nalito ako sa tanong mo... If I remembered it right pwede mong iedit yung old na EOI mo to update your PTE score so no need to create another one. May nakalagay run update EOI...

Yes, you can use that immi account once you are invited.

@atonibay Yessir. Ang worry ko is pag doble doble yung EOI ko for 189 baka bad sign with immigration.

@Cassey hindi na po pwede. Chineck ko na yung edit details at edit EOI wala talaga.

@carlosau Ang alam ko hindi ka pwedeng magupdate kapag may invitation ka na pero kapag wala pa, it should be okay. Kasi nalalock in lang naman siya kapag invited ka na. Antay natin yung reply.

Make changes to your EOI via SkillSelect if:
you want to change to a different skilled visa
your circumstances have changed, for example, you have changed your occupation or your family composition
your points have increased, for example, you have gained new work experience, a higher qualification, or passed a higher-level English language test
your points have decreased, for example, if you are claiming partner skills and your partner has reached 45 years of age or you no longer undertake 20 hours of paid work per week in your nominated occupation.

If you do not tell us your points have decreased and you are invited to apply for the visa, you might not be able to meet the points score on your invitation letter.
When you make changes, SkillSelect will provide you with an updated estimate of your points score.
You cannot make changes to your EOI after you have received an invitation.

@Cassey Yes po, but updating details like passport id is not allowed.

I've updated my EOI kanina to reflect my superior english at nag update sya along with date of effect. Let's wait for sir @batman.

@carlosau i didn't try updating passport details sa eoi. If hindi na editable ang passport details ok lng yun. Pag may ita ka pasa ka na lng ng updated passport.

@carlosau up to you. You can deactivate old eoi and create new one does not matter, wala ka pa naman invite.

meron option doon to suspend your EOI for 189.

@carlosau Before doing anything, do you know the difference between suspending and withdrawing the EOI?

@RheaMARN1171933 Ma’am ano po ang suggestion niyo for the applicant? Should he wait for an ITA and update his new passport details later sa immi account or make a new EOI to include the new passport details.

@Cassey I’m not sure if I understand the actual situation. If the issue is just the passport, the case officer can just be updated about it during the application submission.
