    if i did not follow up with them siguro baka matagalan pa ng konti, since i submitted the final doc (sg police clearance) last friday, i was expecting to get an update on the uploaded document the next monday. but until thursday no update whether the document i uploaded has been looked into (the status is still 'Required' instead of 'Met'). so i decided to email them friday ng madaling araw and around lunch time i got the result. it looks like the CO assigned to me is no longer with DIAC since a different CO granted my visa.

    SEPT 9, 2011 - ACS acknowledged document receipt
    OCT 12, 2011 - ACS result; suitable, PIM3 Group A
    DEC 16, 2011 - IELTS Result (L-8.0 R-7.0 W-7.5 S-7.0)

    Thanks guys. malaking tulong ang forum and the advice of people who post here. One last hurdle left, that is, to find work in australia. Sa mga naasign-an na ng CO dont hesitate to follow up baka kasi iba na pala naghandle ng application nyo like in my case. Im not sure if it is common practice or talagang wala na yung CO na naghandle ng case ko.

    wow ang dami message, biglang naging active ang thread na ito ah. i also got my visa grant yesterday.. salamat sa Diyos at nakaraos rin. now the most difficult part -- finding work in australia. :D

    Guys! I got "suitable" assessment from ACS just this morning! God is so good. :-) I was not expecting it this early. Since I've submitted, I have been checking the ACS website. hehehe But this is the first time that I've decided not to check it today and to just check my gmail. Lo and behold! That was fast, considering ACS has only acknowledged receiving my documents last March 5. :-) From "With Assessor" to "Case Finalised" :D

    Bago lang po ako dito sa forums. ISystems/network administrator po ako dito sa Pinas. Ask ko lang po kung ano po ba ang 1st step to apply for a license to work sa Australia? Pwede po ba ako mag submit ng docs sa ACS para ma certify kahit na wala yung job description ko sa list 1 ng SOL?

    @mgpreclaro , tama ba ung june 2011 ka naglodge? have u followed up the status kung baket wala ka pa ding CO? as far as i know dapat meron ka na noon pa. Kami, 176 din and we lodged our visa last dec 26 2011 and by jan 23, 2012 nagka CO na kami. y not try sending an email to the department. might it will help. cheers
