The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has financial requirements you must meet in order to receive a student visa for Australia. From 1 July 2016 the 12 month living cost is:

Steps or Process for Overseas Students:
1. Choose the course you want to take.
2. Global College Australasia will check your eligibility and qualifications
3. If you have been accepted or qualified to study full-time, GCA requires 25% of the tuition fee cost. After Global College Australasia receives the signed letter of offer back from the student and GCA office has successful fee of 25% of tuition fee payment processing from the student, then GCA will send a Confirmation of Enrolment through Provider Registration and International Students Management System (PRISMS). The confirmation of Enrolment is essential for the application of the student visa.

4. Start your Visa Application Process – Student Visa (subclass 500)
• You must apply for this visa online.
• You can apply when you are in or outside Australia.
• After you have gathered and scanned the documents that support your application, create an account and apply for your student visa with the online application system – ImmiAccount.
• GCA is in a partnership with a registered migration agent currently based in Perth, Western Australia that can also assist you with your legal, migration and visa questions. (fees apply). You can also have your preferred migration agency to help you with legal services.

5. Visa Approved or Denied (there are cases where visa applications are being denied or refused, for example – you did not provide the documents requested)
