@australianwannabe I agree with @TasBurrFoot go for Visa 189 and take IELTS na as soon as you can then have your assessment either sa CPAA/ICAA/IPA along the way you can continue your CMA or kung anu man mapili mo na certification. Medyo pakonti na ng pakonti ang accountant na kinukuha ng Aussie last year around 5k ngayon fiscal year is 2.5k nalang so habol na bro. ;) We don't know kung anu na naman ang changes ng SOL/CSOL by July 2016 so better hurry. I reckon since you are based in Dubai mas mainam makaipon habang wala pang tax bro. ;) Isipin mo muna makuha ang visa then yung work it will follow. ;) Think positive! :) Cheers Mate!

Ask ko lang po... 2 course po kasi ako: Diploma in Electronics Eng'g Technology and recently, B.S. Industrial Engineering.

    Thanks in advance. :)

    1. CE Graduate ako 2010, pero as early as 2006, nagwork na ako full time sa BPO, which is not related sa nominated occupation ko. Worked until 2008. =))

    2. Working in SG po ako as Site Engineer since May 2011, kung hindi ko na isasama yung mga experiences ko sa Pinas, which is 1 yr 5 mos lang, considered 5 yrs na ba yung work experience ko if ang lodging ko is by April 2016?

    3. Related sa Q2, if yung COE ko is pirmado lang ng Project Managers with Company Letterhead, admissible din po ba yun in lieu of HR signature?

Salamat po in advance sa sagot =)

    1) Hindi na po kailangan kasi un lang ike-claim nyo na employment years ang dapat nyo paghandaan ng proofs of employment (like payslips, old contracts, COE, etc)
    2) Depende po sa assessing body ng skills nyo, kinukuhaan po nila ng certain number of years ang employment experience nyo. So ang possibleng 5 years nyo ay pwede pa mabawasan din after nyo mag pa assess.
Mas maganda if totally detailed ung duties and responsibilities nyo sa COE din..

    @vpJulie salamat po,

i started collecting documents na din po para sa vetassess, pero previous company ko dito sa sg na 11 months lang ako, bigla nagdeclare ng bankruptcy and di ko na mahagilap yung hr at manager namin. in this case, pa advise naman po sa below

    1. Company A (3yrs, 6mos) - related - with COE and supporting docs
    2. Company B (11 mos) - related - with generic COE but don't have supporting docs

So yung company B po, kailangan ko pa ba sya iencode sa vetassess employment, or kahit wag na? kasi di ko din sya ma prove kasi generic coe lang po meron ako..

    salamat po sa advice

@Filoz Astig!... Already asked one MARA Agent and their fees were more than AUD 2000.
Good for you ang taas ng IELTS Result mo. I'm not that confident to get the same results.

Hello guys, question po, yung transcript of records ko may nakalagay na "For Board Examination Purposes Only"

Kasi I contacted a MARA Agent and seek her assessment. Eto sabi nya:

For your qualification to be recognised as meeting the necessary course content for accountancy degrees in Australia, you need to have studied at least nine of the 12 "core knowledge areas" below, including the four mandatory core knowledge areas below as part of your Accountancy degree.
    Core knowledge area
    Accountant (general)
    221111
Accounting Systems and Processes - Mandatory
    Financial Accounting - Mandatory
    Management Accounting - Mandatory
    Accounting Theory - Mandatory
    Finance - Optional
    Auditing - Optional
    Commercial Law - Optional
    Economics - Optional
    Quantitative Methods - Optional
Information Systems Design and Development - Optional
    Taxation Law - Optional
    Company Law - Optional
outdated na yung 9 out of 12. check this out http://www.cpaaustralia.com.au/become-a-cpa/migration-assessment/criteria-and-requirements

the 12 core knwledge area has been reduced to 9. Most applicants will need to show that they meet 7 of these, though some occupations will require applicants to meet 8 of them.

Ganyan din nakalagay sa TOR ko. Nag request ako ng bago yung may remarks ng " For evaluation purposes only." For peace of mind lang kaya nag request ako ng bago. Hope this helps. Thanks.

    hope someone can share.

Hello all. I am about to submit my EOI.

    1. Are there any family members the client would like to include in a future application? No.

    2. Would the client be accompanied by the client's partner in a future application? No.

Married ako with kids. Pero ako lang muna mag apply for visa. Tama ba na No ang isagot ko for both questions? Ang pagkaintindi ko kasi sa future application is kung sino ang kasama for the visa application.

Baguhan lang po sa forum. Hope you could enlighten me.

    Thanks guys!

@Filoz Does it matter if I took academic or general IELTS Test? I know that General is the easier one to pass.

Sorry for being a pain. Pwede kayang abbreviation? For example Electronics and Comms Engineering?

Patulong naman po. Thanks and God bless.
