    Hi!
Sino po dito nakapag submit na ng EOI for NSW state sponsorship?
    Gano katagal bago ma invite?
    thanks.
Hello..

If I may, I believe that depends on: (1) the availability of the occupation you nominated; and (2) how many points you acquired. Although occupations related to nursing can be found on both CSOL and SOL (including occupations list from different states), that does not mean it's the total vacant nursing positions in each state. Delays in receiving invitations from NSW may be greatly affected by various factors such as: (1) the number of applications received; (2) changes in the regulations; (3) DIBP's rotation of employees; (4) the current status of nursing graduates. These are some of the factors which may cause delays in the department giving its decision to the applicants. There are a lot of nurses graduating, and Australia is trying to prioritise its locals. You just need to be extra patient :). You will have your turn soon. GOD BLESS :).

Before I forget, you need to score high in the points test so you can be prioritised by NSW :).

@EXCEL hello po.. Do you think in 189, with only 60 points ma-iinvite rin po kaya? I am an RN po dito sa NSW and just started working in a hospital. Or they are merely relying on my points? Thanks po for the info.

@teamLEE First of all 189 is a points test based skilled migration, and the pass mark is 60 points. Had your skills assessment? If so, yes, you can be Invited. Your work in New will be given weight, since this is a points test based skilled migration, after a year.

You said you are currently working in NSW. Full time? Under 457? If so, you can wait for a year to either go for 187 visa under direct entry sponsored by the hospital. Alternatively, you can proceed with 189. By that time, you already have 65 points because of your 1 year work experience in Australia. GOD BLESS :)

Hello po. Thanks po sa reply.. On 485 (temporary graduate) visa po ako ngayon after po nang student visa. wla pa pong pressure sakin na madaliin ang invite kasi pwede pa ako mag stay for 2 years.. I hope ma-iinvite ako within a year after submitting my eoi with only 60 points for 189. Otherwise, next year pa pala ako maka apply nang PR after na makakuha nang 65 points. Parang makakabayad ako ulit for medical kasi lalagpas na ang validity mang medical namin.. Thanks po sa sagot po..

@Rick hello why would you go for 489? Temporary visa lang yan.. Ayaw mo ba subukan ang 190? Un ang state sponsored visa you need ielts acad.. Pde rin oet pero mas expensive. Take ka muna ielts tpos apply ka s ahpra (nursing council) for eligibility to do the bridging course tpos mg bridging ka tpos pg na register kana dto apply ka ng anmac (skills assessment) then you can apply for visa

HELLO fellow nurses. Quick question lang po. Which is much better? AHPRA + BP or STUDY NURSING IN AUS? May nagsabi sakin kasi na mas okay daw mag study na lang for 2 years instead of BP. Any thoughts?

Thank you, @alrakeam_18. In my case kasi, may 2 years 4 months experience ako as staff nurse, and 2 years 5 months as occupational nurse. If I will proceed with AHPRA, baka mahirapan daw ako makahanap ng work (sabi ng Education Counselling Agency) so mas mainam na mag 1 year Bachelor of Nursing na lang.

Hi! I need your inputs. What if my nurse experience for the last 5 years is in oil and gas setting, although I had 2 years and 8 months hospital experience before ako na hire as rig medic sa oil and gas.

@james4588 hi! Rig nurse ako for 2 years, pero may hospital experience din. Nag bridging program ako 2014, then apply visa late 2014 the bumalik ako AU ng 2015. 2 years working na ako rito.

If you have 60 points only think twice before going on a bridging program. Nagiging sobrang competitive na ang application for permanent residency and also kahit sa 457's ace your english exams (get superior scores) para automatic plus 20 points na sya.
