    My PTE-A results

    L/R/S/W - 78/73/90/71

    I only used Mcmillan for at least a month prior to my exams. Before, I was planning to take IELTS but based from what I've read.... Nah?! Never mind.. So what i did was I searched bout PTE-A, everything about it. I even read all the discussions from the other forums.. That was the time I've decided to give it a try since according to them, the exams is lenient in terms of scoring. I was also motivated by those who got 80+.

    Ok nmn yung results ko :) Anyone can take PTE. Pero check mo din yung assessing body if they accept PTE exams for their english requirements... Nonetheless, it's valid and accepted by DIBP like IELTS. :)

    I failed IELTS way back April 2013:
    L:5.5 R:5.5 W:6 S:7

    I will give it try for PTE as per feedback na mas- lenient siya compared to unforgiving IELTS.
    I need an average of 79 in IELTS 8 on all components. In God's grace... :)

    @nightingale_aus recommended po para magauge mo yun readiness mo sa exam proper. Kasi yun mock test in my case ay mas mahirap kesa sa exam proper. Tulad ng sabi ni @se29m dry run mo narin yan para mafamiliarize mo yun phasing kasi under time prrssure ang exam na to. Sayang naman kung sa exam proper ka mataranta. At least pag may dry run alam mo na kung saan mo kelangan iimprove. Good luck. Let us know kung kelangan mo ng reviewer..

    Hi. Im planning of taking PTE acad soon. Mayrong review dito sa parramatta, 400 sya for 2wks at 600 pag 1month review. Was thinking if kailangan pa ba talaga ng formal review o kaya ba ng self study?
    Btw, i took the IELTS twice at
    6.5 lang lagi nakukuha ko OBS.

    @Angelo1990 depends on how confident you are with the exam. But if you have the resources why not take the review to have more assurance of getting your desired score.
