Meron po ba dito na dating nagwork sa Saudi for more than 2 years and requested na kumuha ng Police Clearance. Kindly let us know the procedure.

@kholoudmanlucu Hello! Try mo daw check tong thread na to baka me maka bigay ng info. Usually ang ginagawa nila pag me kakilala cla na nasa Saudi nakikisuyo para makakuha ng police clearance doon. Pag hindi na ata statutory declaration binibigay nila sa CO plus yung exit clearance nila. Let's wait din sa input ng iba. God bless!

Matagal na namin inaasikaso yung PC nysa sa SAudi through some of his friends. Unfortunately, hanggang ngayon hindi kami makakuha.

@kholoudmanlucu try nyo yung ginawa ng iba, nagbigay sila ng statutory declaration na hindi nila makuha yung PC tapos attach nila yung mga email (requests for PC application) tapos mga proof na nag exit na ng Saudi. Post mo ulit yung question mo sa ibang month hindi ko lang maalala anong batch me discussion about Saudi PC. Me ibang CO inaccept naman daw yung statutory declaration.

hello sa mga nka-BM na..plano nami bili nalang kami dito AU dollars tapos dalhin nalang namin sa AU, dun nalang open ng bank account..ok lang po ba ganito? baka may disadvantage po..

@chehrd good move yan kasi mahal i-remit from pinas to australia ang pera. Based from experience:

- Pinas money to Australia = ok to spend kasi malaki; pero sending money malaki charge
- AU money to Pinas = better ipadala in peso converted

Sa immigration po ba ang need lang nila ay yung Visa Grant, passport na may PDOS sticker?

kasi po may work na ako dito sa Australia under 457visa, usually kapag umuuwe ako kelangan pa ng OEC at kung anek anek na para sa OFW. pero siguro sa sunod kong bakasyon sa Pinas (in 3 weeks time) (sana) may PR na ako.

Then kapag lumabas ulet ako ng Pinas, tho trabaho ang dahilan at hindi BM, need pa po ba dumaan sa POEA, OWWA etc kahit PR Visa na hawak mo?

@hayrOHOiro yes kelangan mong dumaan lang ng CFO office para sa sticker. no need to attend PDOS. 400Php/passport ang sticker. tapos sa aiport kelangan mo lang kumuha ng travel tax exemption certificate. ipakita mo lang yung visa grant mo yung galing sa VEVO.

Hi, kamusta na mga kabatch? Sino na po sa atin ang may anak sa high school? Ganun pala rito sa Au, my daughter will be in Grade 7 next year and as early as now, we are already looking for her school. I'm not sure if it runs true to all states but in Victoria hindi basta basta na makapamili ng public high school kasi may tinatawag silang school zoning, yung enrolment is restricted to those who live within the designated area. Pwede pa rin namang magtry na ienrol yung bata provided na makapasa ng exam or mameet yung requirement/s ng school.

@Cassey hello. My daughter is in year 8 term 1 here in WA. When she came, they asked her to take the entrance exam. It was a 2 hour laptop test which covers math, science and English subjects. Prior that, meron muna eligibility docs like visa grant, passport and birth certificate including immunisation records. Plus finally, rental lease document where zone requirement residence comes in. Good thing when I first came, I already forecasted the school proximate to where we will live kaya smooth na when they had arrived. Walking distance Lang from school to our home so advantage and less transport expense.

@Captain_A Ahh, dito naman may exam lahat ng gustong pumasok na wala sa school zone. Tapos pipili na lang sila from there.

@jedh_g That's good, yung sa amin kasi medyo malayo yung school. Yung gustong school ng daughter ko is malapit lang sa work ko kaya very convenient sana. Hopefully, she'll get in. Nakakatuwa rin dito yung ibang public schools, mayroon silang program para sa mga high achievers na kumuha ng subjects sa college while in highschool.

@Cassey you can check with the school if you can avail concession cards thru centrelink. Magagamit mo ito sa school fees around 200+ deducted from school to cover expenses sa uniform plus discount if riding a bus or train. Also, Meron sila extension program sa highschool wherein advance subjects na inaaward sa students whom teachers think is advanced among other students in the same level. Maghanda Ka na rin maging full time teacher sa son/daughter mo kasi sa Bahay ako tutor nila sa math and English

Hello batchmates! Sino na dito nakapag-convert ng license? Would there be a problem kasi yung PH license ko receipt lang I wasn't able to get the card before ako umalis. Wala pa kasing available na card that time nung nagparenew ako. I'm planning to get my au license few weeks from now

@Abby_ Hi kumusta na? Nasa Victoria ka rin tama ba? Nakapagpaconvert na ako ng license. May isang taon na ba since nagexpire yung old license mo? Kung wala pa magagamit mo pa rin yun para iconvert into Au license. Yung akin eh expired na nung pinaconvert ko. Basta maipakita mo old license mo. Kung wala na sayo old card mo, sabi eh kailangan ng letter from LTO para iconfirm yung license details mo.

@Cassey @Abby_ hello. Got a disappointing experience on my actual practical driving test. To cut the story briefly, advantage pag meron ka dito driving lesson as yun mismo driving instructor and mag e-endorse sa 'yo sa Dept of Transport on your booked driving test date. Parang edge ang may driving school compared sa independent.

On my experience, here are some notable tips I could share baka this could help:
1.) When reversing, don't use any of the signal. The backing reverse light is suffice.
2.) Flasher light indicator is max 5 secs from your parked position in blending to traffic.
3.) Always do head checks when you overtake and look for blind spots as necessary.
4.) Make sure you don't cross the white solid line in stopping in an intersection.
5.) Allow pedestrians to cross IF they are on the "pedestrian lane" only. Note of this!
6.) On roundabout traffic flow, if you see a vehicle on your left, you have the GO!
7.) Never reverse park starting on right lane. Treat parking area as normal road condition.
8.) Make a 3 point turn safely on an open house ramp or an open street to your right.
*Once you cross the other side of the road, say you take the right most lane = FAIL
*Your objective is to keep/stay left

I'm still thinking if I'll go for a driving instructor before I schedule my re-take. Regards!
