    hello, bago po ako dito and bago pa lang na nag-aapply for oz. question lang po, nagsisimula pa lang po ako ayusin lahat ng docs ko for acs assessment. Hindi po kaya ako magkakaproblem kung ang job title ko ay very general pero ang job description naman ay related sa nominated occupation ko. Example Bank Officer 1, Bank Officer III, etc. Ganun po kasi ang job titles sa amin e. Pero nasa IT department po ako, iba-iba ang job description per group per department kahit pare-pareho po ng name. Maapektuhan kaya assessment ko?

    Tska pano po ang ginawa nyong format ng employment reference kung jung 5 job titles nyo is sa iisang company lang, same department? Iba-iba rin po kasi ang job description nito. Pero all are IT-related.

    Kung makakahingi po kayo ng Work Reference nyo sa company nyo stating specifically kung ano yung role nyo para mas madali ma identify dun sa ANZCo Code na gusto nyo, pero tama po kayo na kung gaano kalinaw yung job des yun dapat related dun sa description sa ANZCo Code na nominated nyo.

    Sa akin po Halimbawa, Consultant / Senior Analyst pero sa content po Systems Admin ang most of my routine. Yung isa naman, IT Supervisor, pero ang content eh all around, pati mag iinsall ng printer, using training at paglalatag ng cable andun.

    Enumerate nyo lang po per work per inclusive years of experience then job des.

    Thank you po @legato09 and @dreambig. Sana mahabol ko this year ang pag-lodge ng eoi. Hopefully makapagsubmit ako sa ACS 1st week of November. At sana after a month, magkaroon ng positive result. Thank you. :)

    Hello po. I hope this forum is still active.

    I would like to ask kasi nacoconfuse ako as to what step should we do first. I have read booklet six and the ACS guidelines. But I am confused with what to do first. Have our credentials assessed first, then if suitable, take IELTS and then lodge application for visa in skill select?

    My huband is a tester and have worked for Lexmark for two years and is currently working for NCR and in his third year of employment. Total work experience is five years.

    Hi! New member din po ako. Ung bf ko IE grad pero ang work nio ay more on Database Administrator. Sa ACS siya magpapaases ng skills pero ung sa Bachelors Degree sa Engineering Australia po ba? Thanks

    Hi po! Iam new here and aspiring to migrate in OZ, sana po someone can give me an advice I want to apply for acredetation for ACS pano po kaya kung di ko na mahanap yung mga certificate of employment ko sa dati ko company, yung una company kasi nag sara na then yung isa sobra layo naman. meron lang ako last recent company pano po kaya yun. Pwede ko na po ba hinde ideclare yung mga wala ko cert. sayang kasi almost 2years din yun. All in all ang work experience ko is 9 years sa IT pero iba iba position, kasi nag start ako from IT Personnel, IT Supevisor, System Engineer, Then ngayon IT Analyst.
    Please advise thank you in advance :)

    @PeterPedro , Sayang naman kung hindi mo isasama yun. pwede kang mag submit ng statutory declaration kung di ka makapag present ng COE from your previous employer.

    @chantelle , it depends kasi may school sectioning pa. In your bf's case it seems kelangan nyang mag RPL, from what i know IE is not IT or ICT related course. In previous pages andun ang mga explanation about RPL and school section.

    @theflyingrn Hi! I believe the basic procedures are: 1) apply for skills assessment 2) take IELTS 3) submit EOI in Skill Select. More or less a month din ung paghihintay sa skills assessment so if you want you can opt to take IELTS first khit wla pa result ng assessment but you are gambling kc not sure kung positive ang result ng assessment mo.

    @lelai_n_stitch as far as I know ay wala. as long as mabibilang ang work experience mo through COEs, ok na iyon at syempre dapat yung combined years of experience mo ay pasok sa required ng diac or acs.

    Wooohhoooo!!! My partner just got the results of his ACS assessment this morning after 35 days. Thank God positive result! To God be the glory!
    Occupation: Computer Network and Systems Engineer, AQF Bachelor Degree

    All work experience including current job is suitable which is equivalent to 4 years and 3 mos. Sa May pa sya mag 5 years sa current job nya.

    @chantelle yung 15 pts is for the Visa points, so regardless kung ano yung course mo, as long as you have a Bachelor degree, you will be awarded 15 pts.

    Yup, i-aassess both ang skills (thru RPL) and ang educ qualification (degree) ng ACS...
    kahit hindi sya IT, pwde pa rin naman nila i-assess dahil ang reference naman nila is standard (yun ung AQF)..

    Although we have not heard from someone na hindi na-assess ang degree dahil hindi IT degree...
    kung mangyari man un, may nabasa ako na pwede mo ipa-assess ang educ qualification sa VETASSESS (kung hindi makapag-bigay ng opinion ang ACS)..

    Hi, I just joined this forum and am about to start my application process for Skilled Independent Visa (189). Need your opinion sana on my dilemma. Kakatake ko lang ng IELTS (still waiting for the results :-SS ) and maguumpisa na rin ng ACS assessment. Ang worry ko lang is yung Bachelors Degree ko. I'm a ComArts graduate (non ICT) but incidentally sa IT napadpad ang career ko. I have almost 8 years experience sa IT -- 3 years as Developer and 5 years as Systems Analyst. If ever mag submit ako ng for ACS, mas safe ba kung mag submit na din ako ng RPL bilang non-ICT ang course ko? Umaasa kasi ako na hindi na sya kailangan kasi syempre ang toxic nya gawin. Not sure kung may nkakalusot na kahit non-ICT course, positive pa rin ang ACS assessment.

    @apl_9J - if you have read one of my replies.. i initially failed ACS assessment for Business Analyst because my BS IE degree is not considerd as an IT degree... ;)

    so based on that, i would suggest to go the RPL assessment route..
