    @mikaela07 no regrets sila in fact pang family talaga ang AU. Mas may quality time sila sa mga anak nila at madami din sa kanila na PR na dito sa SG pero hindi nanghinayang. May case nga na yung kasama ko 3 silang PR pero bunsong anak hindi PR at hindi ma PR kaya nung naapprove sila sa AU mas naging settled sila dun.

    Regarding dito sa sg, meron naman na after 5 years na EP..hindi ma renew ng company. Kasi pag check nila kung halimbawa sumusweldo ng nasa 5k+, dapat mga nasa 6.8-7k ang increase ng salary para ma renew and EP. Therefore, para sa mga foreigner, months before sila mag renew, check na nila using SAT(self assessment tool) sa mom site kung ma rerenew sila or hindi at kung hindi sila ma rerenew sa EP....ang tanong may S pass quota pa ba ang company at willing ba sila na idowngrade ka at magbabayad ng 650sgd per month na levy? (vice versa ok lang ba sa employee na madowngrade?) .

    kaya mahirap para sa mga foreigner na sabihing settled sila sa SG despite of having a stable job. Kasi hanggat di ka PR, wala kang security of tenure.

    @macdxb16 thanks sa reply. Good to know na okay naman pala sila dun at wise decision ang magsettle dun. Actually, si hubby kasi yung di ganun ka-decided. Kasi natatakot din siya na baka di siya makakuha ng work dun. Nung una kasi ako lang talaga ang nagpupumilit ng AU, though now mejo convince na siya at mas macoconvinve pa hehehe.

    Wala pa kami idea din na possible pala yung ganun pag nagrenew ka ng EP. Naging tighter and tighter na talaga ang SG when it comes to feorigners. Thanks for that info. At least now, mas tumindi talaga yung desire ko na ipush ang AU PR at sana maging okay ang lahat.

    At any rate, maganda ang career exposure sa SG at nakaka miss ang Hawker sa tabi tabi at mga gadgets at nike na shoes na mura kahit hindi sale :)

    Surely, mas nakaka miss ang budget airline at 3+ hours na flight (na mas mabilis na byahe kesa cavite to quezon city) at umuwi dahil trip lang tuwing may bday sina mama, papa, kuya at ate..kasama na ang alagang si bangis o kaya naman mag pagupit lang gaya ng isa kong kaibigan eheheh.

    Madaling umuwi. Yun ang pinaka ayos dito...alis ng friday, uwi ng Sunday or Monday (with MC ahahah).

    @macdxb16 hahaha! Natawa naman ako sa with MC mo pero what you've said are all true. Have some friends na from SG and nasa AU na at happy na happy cla dun at pang pamilya talaga ang AU. SG is only for singles and young couples na wala pang mga anak. Even if PR ka renew2x padin every 5yrs unlike sa AU after 4yrs of being PR pwede na mag apply for citizenship and tada! No visa passport kana. :D

    sa akin lang from my experience nagiging hindi na family friendly ang SG. 1st is pahirapan ikuha ng PR ang mga kids kahit ang parents ay PR. Then sa school, napakahirap kumuha ng slot sa primary lalo na kung labeled as "foreigner" ang kids. and magtataas na naman sila ng school fees para sa PR and foreigners next SY i think. and nagiging kiasu parents na kami hahaha, kasi like my eldest napilitan ako enroll sa chines tuition kasi kinausap kami ng teacher na di nakaka sunod sa chinese lesson nila sa KINDER! imagine that? dapat nag eenjoy pa ang kids nun hehe. anyway buti na lang yun anak ko pinalaki namin na happy go lucky attitude ayaw ko sila magaya sa mga singaporean kids na sobra seryoso.

    may sweldo na! hahaha, submit ko na for state nomination docs ko kay NSW. Sana mabilis lang para makapag visa lodge na. Sa mga nag submit po for state nomination usually how long yun average time bago ma process? sa NSW website kasi 3 months max yun processing time.
