as long as complete na lahat ng documents mo, may funds ka for tuition, oshc, medical (hopefully walang problem) and visa fee tapos polished na yung SOP/GTE mo then yes, aabot pa yan basta malodge mo within the month of May. Tumatagal sa mga requirements eh.

@Avon3737 tumagal ako kasi nagkamali ung school ng end date, kaya check all the details ng offer letter and CoE. If matagal magreply school, magfollow-up ka sa agent mo and minsan busy din sila sa ibang handled students. In my case, dumidiretso ako sa school kapag matagal magreply, ineemail ko rin yung in-charge. Naka-ilang revise rin ako ng SOP kaya start ka na magdraft nyan

@kltm23 talino naman pala, scholar. lapit na ikaw. sa Aug 25th pa ako pero advice ng Uni dapat July nasa Australia na ako kasi may biglaang meetings daw. sino agent mo sa AECC? Til now wala pang update from them, ayaw ko naman mag-ask kinakabahan ako. hehehe. :P

@sapphires_18 pwede ko ba ipasa yung same SOP na ginawa ko for school sa embassy? tsaka po pala pano po machecheck if nakaapply na po ako sa school. yung education agent kasi ng idp hindi nagiinform if naapply nya na. para sana if hindi pa ako nalang magapply directly since ang hirap nilang macontact. thanks for helping out.

Sorry which uni ka nga ulit @PongAsuncion ? Got the scholarship grant just now, proceed na kami sa payment ng natitirang tuition fees and all, hopefully by third week of May may visa. Agot yung name ng counselor ko sa AECC

Follow up ka lang, sana sila na nangungulit ang students. Sakin din dalas ko mangulit halos daily.

@Avon3737 hindi ako sure if papano mo machcheck yun, talk to your agent and ask if nasubmit na niya. baka mahirapan ka magDIY pero kaya naman.

Your SOP for the embassy must be really detailed and convincing na temporary ka lang sa Australia. PM kita sa guide na ginamit ko.

@sette do you have a problem with your financials? I don't think they check for every single student visa applicant, but they might do it randomly or if they find something wrong or off about your application.

@Avon3737 same situation kayo ng sis ko. nagaantay pa din kami ng offer letter from the university and hoping na mabigyan na ng offer soon. worried kasi kami sa timing dahil May na pero positive thinking lang.

January pa nya pinasa ung application pero di na process until March then twice na pina-update ung docs ng admissions office bago naipasa sa faculty to assess. April 17 pa na forward sa faculty for processing kaso up to now wala pa din result.

dun sa mga nagapply for july intake, roughly gano katagal ung visa processing nyo from lodgment to approval? gusto ko kasi kumuha ng idea kung aabot ung visa ng sister ko. nagaantay pa din kame ng offer letter from RMIT Melbourne. Napaparanoid na kame kasi mag 4 weeks na since naipasa daw sa school of education ung application nya to assess pero as of now wala pa din result.

IDP ang agent nya sa pinas. Di na namin alam ang gagawin dahil gahol na sa oras kung lilipat kami ng agent saka wala ng ibang school sa Melbourne na nagooffer ng ganung course kaya wala kami maxado choice. Unfortunately, wala daw deadline for application ang RMIT so in short di sila worried sa time kung aabot yung student sa July or not unlike otheru universities may cutoff sila.

Nakaka frustrate lang kasi January pa namin pinasa yung application hindi nila inasikaso not until March then twice pinarevise yung isang document. Sa tuwing magsusubmit kami ng docs 2-3 weeks bago nila balikan ung application, napaka inefficient.

@Au_Vic In my case, my visa was issued 3 weeks from the time I submitted my visa application. I would say just keep following up with IDP, super overloaded siguro sila kasi yung pinsan ko hirap nga din magpa-appointment sa dami ng clients nila. Pila-pila daw talaga yung mg atao sa IDP office.

@sette Did they indicate which part of the visa application was the problem? DHA assesses the visa application based on a lot of factors. It could be your travel history, GTE statement, course selected, financial proof, etc.

@sette Ah oki. Baka pwede po na sa next application nyo i-emphasize nyo po yung potential job opportunities sa pinas (related to your course), familial obligations (caring for parents or children, etc), managing your business (kung meron po kayo), or ownership of assets (property, car, etc).
