@coolitz_12 @cheesybaconmushroom stat dec isn’t necessary if it’s letterheaded. It can be from either HR or supervisor as per our experience handling x number of cases - our timeline with ACS decision is around 2 weeks since we only submit decision ready applications. Most of what we submit are reference letters from supervisors. They are on letterhead and certified only. This is clearly explained on the guideline.

The problem is people here I notice ask HR for the wrong document/use the wrong term - COE hence they usually get turned down by HR for such a request. It’s an employment reference letter that needs to be asked. This is a common issue with Filipino clients we handle.

You only do stat dec if the supervisor cannot use a headed letter. With Coolitz case, my understanding is he can have his supervisor sign the reference letter on a letterhead therefore no stat Dec required.

@rhedil.gomez @cheesybaconmushroom as per ACS website, their timeline is 8-10 weeks. For some reason, we get results for cases we submit within 2 weeks. I could only assume that it’s because we only submit decision ready applications and we know exactly how to present an application which is user friendly for assessing officers, hence the swift turnaround.

With regards to your question re skills assessment and English test, I usually tell clients if they can do both at the same time then why not but best to really concentrate on preparing the documents as this is more tedious and time consuming than booking and sitting on an English test.

During initial consultation with me, whenever prospective clients tell me that they’ll do English first before focusing on skills assessment, I tell them they should do the other way around. You have time to do English test whilst your application is being processed. Sayang oras if on hold lahat just because your concentrating on English test.

Pano po yun? Reference letter? then signed by my immediate manager before.. papa notarize din po?

I tried searching sa ACS guideline pano ifill out yung sa ACS website about work experience pero wala ako nakita or baka naoverlooked ko sya.

Ask ko lang sana about lodging yung work experience sa ACS. Sa isang company 2 yung naging position ko. So ilalagay ko sya per position at ung tenure (start and end date).
Tpos same document (COE 1) ang gagamitin ko sa both entries? parang ganito po ba?

entry 1: Position 1 Feb 12, 2007 - April 1, 2008 - attachment: COE 1
entry 2: Position 2 April 2, 2008 - April 13, 2010 - attachment: COE 1

Tsaka saang field po iuupload yung resume/CV?

Hello guys. Someone might have asked the same qs already but cant seem to find it in the most recent posts.

I had my ACS assessment last February 2019. Back then, i was assessed to have 7yrs and 8mos of relevant work exp. So by June, i will have exactly 8yrs of relevant work exp already. I havent changed role and employer since my last assessment.

Do i need to apply for reassessment if i want to claim the extra 4mos of work exp on June?

@coolitz_12 Tama po. Ganyan din po ginawa ko. But since two different positions yun with the same company, i attached a different job description, roles and responsibilities for each.

@nadkram If I remember correctly, there is no need for a re-assessment since you have not changed your job and role from your last assessment.

@iamabcd. Thank you po sa advice. So if in case mainvite po ako, i should submit the most recent work reference for my current employment? At hindi yung sinubmit ko kay ACS last Feb. Should i have it CTC-ed din po? Thank you.

@iamabcd thank you po sa feedback. Yung COE kasi na binigay sakin naka itemized per position yung JD pero same document sya kaya I only have 1 COE.

Hi Ms. @RheaMARN1171933, how long does the assessment usually go? My application is going on its 3rd week na, status is with assessor.

@mister.hyde from their website it takes 8-10 weeks but our track record with them for our client’s cases is 2 weeks. If you’re on your 3rd week you should still within their timeline. The most likely reason we get it faster is due to us submitting decision ready applications.

We aim to prepare documents wherein they are presented properly (user friendly forvthe assessor), compliant to ACS requirements and with complete supporting evidences enclosed - decision ready meaning the officer will just have to decide as there’s they are satisfied with how the application was presented, nothing else to ask from the client.

Hi guys! Sabi sa result letter ko:
The following employment after November 2014 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261111 (ICT Business Analysts) of the ANZSCO Code.

I started working 5 November 2012. So 2 years dineduct nila. So question is, sa EOI, anong date gagamitin ko para magclaim ng points?

1. From December 1, 2014 ba since sabi sa letter ay "after November 2014" daw yung considered or:
2. From November 5, 2014 since doon nag 2 years yung employment ko?

@becca91 we always see questions like this and I completely understand the confusion and to be extra cautious - we recommend na you start the period sa EOI as December 1 2014 (option 1 mo)

Kasi ang wordings is after November 2014. Hindi sinabing after November 4,2014 for you to start ng November 5, 2014.

Hi everyone. May question po ako. Natapos ko computer course then after grad, I took MBA but hindi ko natapos. Since hindi naman siya masasama sa assessment kasi walang degree, can I use my old TOR (hanggang grad units lang) or need ko kumuha ng new TOR (reflected units ng MBA)? Thank you so much!

Hello po. I just wanna ask questions, magpapa assess palang ako for ACS as web developer. Pano po ba malalaman if ICT major or minor? been reading stuff about it pero medyo di ko pa nagets somehow, or sa result na mismo to makikita. If someone can help me out about it, that would be a huge help. I'm an IT graduate and been a web developer for 8 years, Does some freelance clients considered as an experience? and lastly even if iba iba company mo but same job description, add up lang ba yung years then bawasan nila 2 years, is that correct? thank you po. godbless

Hi! First time ko dito. Looking for advice from my fellow IE's. Torn kasi ako which assessment route ang ipursue: EA or ACS. I am a business analyst, IT related yung profession under ACS. But, since my work experience would be deducted, thinking mag-EA route. Mgkaiba din advice sakin ng agency, yung isa sabi EA, yung isa naman ACS. Anyone with a similar situation? Hello All,

I am currently working po in another country right now and then yung previous company ko po is from Philippines and honestly hinde kasali ang JD pag na hinge ng COE. Kasi may format sila pina follow.. I can message my previous manager for a reference letter, pero po ipa pa notarize ko po yun? If so, I'm confused kung paano eto gagawin since nasa ibang bansa ako na work ngayon. Thanks a lot for your info.

@rhedil.gomez if your previous manager is still working in the same company and can supply a letter on letterhead, no need to have it notarised

Few questions I have.

1. Do I need to submit all COE/Reference Letter from ALL my previous jobs? or just the past 10 years? (basing from PR points).
2. Is there a minimum # of months stay in a company? I have a COE though the company only lasted for around 2 months. Will ACS count this?
2. Do you have any format for "Statutory Declaration"? I need one for 2 company. Please send. I found the sample in the ACS guidelines but it is too short and don't know if that is the only content needed.
‘I can confirm that (applicant name) carried out the duties and role specified in this document at (company name) as I was their (supervisor, colleague, manager etc.) who interacted with them and witnessed their work on a regular basis throughout their employment. ‘

3. Can the Statutory Declaration be CTC'd in the Philippines? Where in the Phil?
