I just read the July 2019 Skillselect Invitation Round results. Minimum points score for accountants is now 85! :-)

Hi guys, anyone here who tried respall as their agent? Do they give an honest feedback? How’s your experience with them? Most of the agencies that I tried sabi nila I need to undergo with student visa, since the competition is getting tougher na. But there are also agencies na nagssabi magastos daw un and they dont recommend it. Btw, I am applying for 189/190/489 visa with 75 or 80 points. Any thoughts? Thank you po.

@hopefullyoz there you go, a positive news for all of us!! badly needed it this time.. by the way, I noticed you updated your points to 80 now.. I was actually following your case in Immitracker because we are of the same points before and we almost had the same EOI submission dates.

Yes, I just updated it. Pero di ko ma change ang signature ko dito sa forum. Any ideas?

I also cant find that option to update the signature.. better refer it to Admin.may be it changed when they did the recent updates to the site.

@angela10 no. Nag lodge na ako nag EOI. You won't be invited unless you lodge an EOI. Tapos, ira-rank yung mga nag lodge based on their points. The higher the points, the more chance that you'll get invited.

Pero diba marami kang kapareha ng points. In that case, uunahing i-invite yung earlier ang EOI date of effect.

Right now, I'm just happy na unti-unti nang nai-invite na ang mga higher pointers. This means that those with lower points like me will have a higher chance of getting invited.

@hopefullyoz ahhHh i see. Pataasan then first come first serve. So for example ang minimum na nainvite is 80 then 85 ka, ibig sabhin dapat nainvite ka din? Then sa mga nainvite, normally ilanh percent dun yung naaapprove? Hehe.

@angela10 focus for now to raise your points as much as you can.. Getting approved once we have lodged our visa application should be the least we have to worry about.. at this time, an Accountant getting invited is a blessing close to being a miracle... so everytime I see updates for Accountants getting invited, nabubuhayan po ako ng pag-asa.. sometimes, I just have to make fun of the thought na pati ba naman sa migration, napaka-competitive talaga ng Accountants.

I refer also to ISCAH's estimates for their predictions on when you can get an invite.

Hello po sa lahat, Ask lang po sana ako ng advise sa may experience dito if may kagaya ako, graduate po ako ng Accountancy dito Pinas and fully decided na po akong kumuha na nang student visa as a path muna, Sa tingin nyo po ba wise na desisyon yung kumuha ulit ako ng Bachelor's degree ng Accounting sa Australia para makakuha ko na din ng CPA Australia program? base kasi sa research ko mas mura sya compared sa Master's? pero wise po ba na plan yun? thank you po in advance sa sasagot.

@hopefullyoz napansin ko lang pala bigla on the link below, ang cut-off for 85 pointers nung Mar 10 rounds was 10/04/2019 (which is possibly typo - could be 10/03/2019) as against 14/12/2018 last invitation round, July 11th.. bakit umurong? nung una ang napansin ko lang na mas earlier na ang cut-off date Internal Auditor.. hopefully they correct it soon, which means magiging current na ang 85 pointers.. and up next na kayong 80 pointers..

@Dionji as much as possible iwasan ang student pathway for accountants. sobrang taas ng points needed to get an invitation. if you are decided, have you checked your points after you graduate? aabot na ba ng minimum points which is 85 as of current for 189 and alam ko may mga other requirements na din if you go state-sponsored which is local accounting experience. same lang ang tuition ng bachelor at master nung time ko. you can still fullfill the foundation requirements for the cpa program kahit master's kunin mo or gamitin mo iyong overseas degree mo just have it assessed.

hi magtatanong lang po about sa trend ng naiinvite with ANZSCO 221112 (Management Accountant) karamihan po kasi ng mga nababasa ko here 221111 (general accountant). pwede po magpaguide pano po magreview ng history for 221112? finance and administrative manager po kasi work ko for almost 9yrs na.. though prior to that general accountant din naman work ko pero yong most recent daw ang titingnan? parang wala ako masyadong naeencounter na success stories for 221112. ang baba pa naman ng points ko bcoz of age. thank you po sa sasagot.

Question lng po, ung sa pag assess ng working experience, hindi counted ung time na hindi ka cpa license? Iba iba kasi sinsabi ng agency na napagtanungan ko. Thanks po sa response.

If that’s the case, your skilled work experience starts after you acquired your license.

sino po dito ang may australian work experience as accountant at nagkaroon ng positive skills assessment? may tanong po sana ako about sa salary requirement? does it requires ba na nasa at least $28 an hour? salamat po

@wela04 hi sis working ako as accountant for 3 yrs sa Sydney and nagstart ako sa rate na $26/hr when I was still a student, nacount nmn po in full ung xp ko as account ant sa cpaa skills assessment... Never heard po ung $28/hr rate requirement... Cheers

walang salary requirement na inask sakin nung nagpaassess ako nung australian experience ko. important iyong hours at duties.

Hi goodevening! I’m currently working in Syd as an AP officer and plan to lodge my EOI by Jan next year. Would anyone know if I can receive a positive assessment for Gen Accountant with my current job? Maraming salamat po!
