Did you mean ifvtou need to do skills assessment again? Of course not. Skills assessment authorities do not grant points. It only assess you skills as per australian standards, it has nothing to do with points. The immigration department grants the points.

May balita na po kaya if paano mauupdate yung EOI para ikey in yung english qualificaiton ng partner? Currently kasi if hindi skilled si partner wala ng portion to put yung english qualification ni partner.

    Is this for 189, 190 and 489?

    Professional Year points
    --------------------------------

DHA have confirmed that the professional year points will only be awarded for occupations in the same first 4 digits as a coding of the following occupation groups as follows ...

    - information technology graduates
    - accounting graduates
    - engineering graduates

DHA reply .. "Thank you for your recent enquiry to the department of Home Affairs regarding allocation of points for graduates of the Professional Year (PY).

The 6D PI is currently being reviewed in anticipation of the commencement of the new 6D points on 16 November, however, consistent with what is currently in the 6D procedural instruction in regards to closely related occupations located under ‘Assessing employment claims’ then ‘Closely related occupations’, PY points will be awarded to closely related occupations within the same 4-digit unit group."

This suggests that professional year points cannot be used for an Occupation such as External Auditor which has a different 4 digit ANZSCO coding. We are trying to confirm ...

    - DHA just confirmed .. so must be in the same first 4 digits ANZSCO coding. So External Auditors and others cannot claim professional year points in their EOIs.

    @iska03
once new score system is effective, fillout eoi honestly, i believe, along the questions, you would be able to declare that you have been married before and that person will not be coming with you on this application.

at the end of the eoi, you're score will be shown, then you can check if they have provided you the points.
    hope this helps.

@iska03 separated po ang status nyo sa EOI, since “legally married ka pa din til now”, hindi ka pwde mag claim ng points for NO spouse kasi para yun sa Single/ never married.

I think, +10 points if your spouse have these 3 qualifications:
    -less than 45 years old
    -have competent English
-have positive skill assessment and the skill has to in the same list as yours.

@ionnagab0222 : If skill assessment lng ang meron sa spouse, no points. If competent English lng meron sya and less than 45yrs old, +5points. If less than 45yrs old lng sya, no points.

    Pgkakaalam ko lng, parang hindi.

@renly2328 : Oo parang gnun ata.

But just wait nlng dn sa sagot ng iba.

Hello po, tanong ko lang po regarding dun sa new changes ngayong Nov regarding sa if single or defacto. may defacto po kasi ako na naisubmit EOI since January na may english at assessment pero that time 5 points lang naclaim namin. pero nito pong new changes, naging 10pts na po automatically. However po, nung iuupdate na namin ulit yung EOI, nawawala yung data nya for assessment na dating andun. naging tendency po tuloy, nagpalit ng DATE OF EFFECT yung EOI kasi parang nireentry yung paglagay nya ng assessment.

meron po bang nakaranas nun dito recently? nagupdate po kasi ako ng score sana ng PTE, kaso yung assessment biglang nawala dun ng defacto. kaya nagiba na din tuloy yugn DATE OF EFFECT. na sabi po daw based on rounds of invitations may bearing daw din po yung date of effect. :(

thank you po sainyong lahat and God bless!

@renly2328 I had the same case sayo pero hindi nagbago DOE ko. Nakadeclare na si defacto before Nov16 changes so automatic na nagadd. Nawala din yung assessment niya pero kahit after ko iupdate walang changes sa points kaya walang changes sa DOE. As far as I know, kung manually magedit ka ng EOI that could possibly increase your current points mababago yung DOE mo.

Based sa experience ko, nung nag change ako ng suburb nang university address ko, nagbago din ang DOE ko. So I guess, once you hit Save button, your DOE will change regardless kung maliit or malaking change sya.

And yes, may bearing ang DOE kung kailan ka ma-iinvite.

ive been seeing a few rants about change of DOE. Don’t get so hooked up with this. I believe there’s more reason to celebrate dahil your points have increased. That’s more important at the end of the day. Negative won’t get you anywhere

@RheaMARN1171933 definitely di naman po sya rant sobrang nagulat lang po akong ganun pala yun, sorry po it may seems na nagrarant po ako, sobrang nagtataka lang po ako na ganun pala. first time ko po kasi maexperience magupdate ng pte. sa tagal ko pong nagtry ng nagtry at ilang takes. and at the same time worried din na maeexpire na din yung assessment sa march. if you check po my post sa PTEAcademic na sobrang saya ko po dun at nagcompile pako ng reviewers to help people. sorry if I was too transparent with my feelings na nagmukang rant, supposedly nagpapaenlighten lang ako and at the same time heightened yung emotions.
