Hi everyone. Patulong naman po if meron kau idea of the following:
*How will I know if syllabus is required to submit or not? I tried asking my school about it, sabi nila unavailable na daw(16years ago).
*In the absence of syllabus, sabi sa guide, need daw ng detailed, personal summary of the relevant subjects. Pwede bang makahingi ng sample?
*As I understood, there are 3 assessing bodies for General Accountant. If you received a negative result from one of the bodies, can you apply again sa ibang assessing body?
Sorry, I really have little idea about it.
Thanks po in advance.

Hello po. need your advice regarding my anzcode.
My husband (263111) is the main applicant dahil nababasa ko dito na sobrang taas ng requirements for accountant. But i still need to apply for skills assessment para makakuha kami ng Partner Points. My problem is, my Employee reference letter shows my position is Senior accountant 2014-2015 then Associate Director 2016-2018 not accountant. Though my job description covers:
• Prepares financial statements and management reports to the client’s top management, with analysis on financial performance and position.
• Assists CFO with budgeting and forecasting by building customized financial models for client’s needs.
• Produces monthly operational reports such as Cashflow Reporting, Profit and Loss Analysis, Balance Sheet Reconciliation and other report.
• Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of the client’s financial reporting requirements, for both internal and external requirements.
• Involves in selection, evaluation and implementation of client’s computer-based accounting system (Xero, QuickBooks Online & MYOB) including system migration.
• Participates in formulating, revising and applying new and existing accounting policies.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly Australian client’s BAS return and other compliance requirements such as PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation.
Please help me makakakuha pa din ako ng positive outcome kahit na hindi accountant yung position ko sa COE. Also, does my job responsibilities matches General Accountant po ba?

Another question po for FEU BSA graduates dito.
Paano po kayo nagrequest ng syllabus? Sa Registrar po ba or sa Dean's office?
Lahat din po ba ng courses kinuha nyo or eto lang nasa list ni CPA Au?
1. Accounting Systems and Processes
2. Business Law
3. Economics
4. Financial Accounting and Reporting
5. Finance and Financial Management
6. Management Accounting
7. Quantitative Methods
I'm currently working here in Saudi kaya paguwi ko nalang ng pinas ayusin requirements sa FEU. But I hope may makatulong sakin para at least may idea na po ako kung saan pupunta.

Ask ko lang din po kung makakakuha pa din po ba kami ng partner points if eto scenario namin?
Main applicant: Husband - 263111 (under Skilled Occupation List and nominated SOL of VIC)
Wife - 221111 (under Skilled Occupation List but not on nominated SOL of VIC)
Assuming na makakuha po ako ng competent English results, can we still claim for Partner points kahit na yung occupation ko as wife is not under VIC Nominated State Occupation List?

Hi guys, nagmamatter ba sa CPA Australia ang class ng university sa assessment? I've graduated in a government university in Manila (City college of Manila or UdM now). Meron ba dito nakakuha ng positive assessment from non-private college university?

Newbie here. Seeking for advise. I applied for skill assessment(no employment) for General Accountant even without having a PRC License. I received a negative outcome 'coz the assessor said because I am not a CPA. I submitted a TOR and my syllabus 'coz I thought they would give credit to it. But as my outcome result stated, I completed ZERO in both Mandatory and Optional Competency Areas.
Anyone had a case like mine? If you're in my position, what will you do?
By the way, my husband is the main applicant. The purpose of the skill assessment is for spouse points.
Salamat ng marami sa mga sasagot.

Hard to give a thorough explanation without reading the letter outcome but I could only assume two things a. Your degree isn’t equivalent to an AQF bachelor’’s degree b. You did not major in accounting c. You have not studied the mandatory modules

Thanks for your reply. Below is the exact outcome letter. I just omitted the personal info.

@RheaMARN1171933 : The list of Competency Areas(Mandatory and Optional) were reflected on my TOR and Syllabus, and yet they put on the Outcome Letter that I did not complete any of these

question regarding new points. i lodged my partner’s eoi today with the new points system implemented. we’re both skilled and i have superior english. pero nag add lang 10points for skilled partner. yung 5 points for competent english hindi nag add. Anyone knows how to fix it? or ung 5 points e included na sa 10 points - spouse/defacto skilled with competent english?

@mom_of_2 @marchbaby it’s because my assumption a which I previously mentioned applies. Your qualification is only recognised as an AQF associate degree which is lower lever to an AQF degree. Hence you failed to meet the minimum requirement of having an AQF Bachelor degree and meeting the mandatory modules. If you would have been a CPA, automatic your degree will be recognised as an AQF bachelors degree but you aren’t hence the negative outcome, unfortunately.

@marchbaby you can’t claim both. Maximum you can claim on thus category is 10 points.

Guys, possible ba na magpaassess sa CPAA on education and skilled employment first before submitting the english test just for me to make sure na maccredit lahat ng work experience?

I'm not familiar with the process for CPAA as well, but I did my assessment with ACS without the English Test.
English Test result is not at all required with ACS. Assessment and English Test are independent of each other. They will only be BOTH required during EOI lodging.
Just sharing.
