Kamusta! :) Meron na bang nakaexperience dito nag passess sa CPA for onshore work experience na negative result? Nag appeal then positve result na? Pano po ginawa nyo? Salamat! :)

Hi! Ginawa ko nag appeal ako after amending ung employer testimonial then kinonsider nila and got the positive result. Very detailed dapat ung testimonial.

Hi @liza01! Thanks for sharing your experience. Pwede bang malaman kung kailan mo ito ginawa (just month and year)? Negative yung result ko from CAANZ and their review/appeal form states: (Changes to/or additional job description/task list provided in your previous work reference letter for same employment period will not be accepted). Costs $170 to file an appeal :( Wondering if I need a migration agent to help write an appeal letter. Thanks in advance!

For skilled employment assessment, pag closed na po yung company so need po magprovide ng stat dec ndi po ba, so along with employment reference letter attached yung stat dec po ba pag nagpaassess sa assessing body?

Hello po. need your advice regarding my anzcode.

My husband (263111) is the main applicant dahil nababasa ko dito na sobrang taas ng requirements for accountant. But i still need to apply for skills assessment para makakuha kami ng Partner Points. My problem is, my Employee reference letter shows my position is Senior accountant 2014-2015 then Associate Director 2016-2018 not accountant. Though my job description covers:

    • Prepares financial statements and management reports to the client’s top management, with analysis on financial performance and position.
    • Assists CFO with budgeting and forecasting by building customized financial models for client’s needs.
    • Produces monthly operational reports such as Cashflow Reporting, Profit and Loss Analysis, Balance Sheet Reconciliation and other report.
    • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of the client’s financial reporting requirements, for both internal and external requirements.
    • Involves in selection, evaluation and implementation of client’s computer-based accounting system (Xero, QuickBooks Online & MYOB) including system migration.
    • Participates in formulating, revising and applying new and existing accounting policies.
    • Prepares monthly and quarterly Australian client’s BAS return and other compliance requirements such as PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation.

Also, does my job responsibilities matches General Accountant po ba?

    Correction po sa position.
    SENIOR ASSOCIATE 2014-2016
    ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR 2016-2018

    Hi guys

Does anyone here have experience in the PH as an external auditor who found work as an accountant dito sa AU? Mag 1 yr na kasi ako in my accounting role pero just recently ko lang narealise na iba pala ang occupation group ng accountant at external auditor. As such, di ko magagamit ung 1yr experience sa visa application ko, if yung external audit ang occupation na inonominate ko. Does anyone know of someone in this situation? I was really hinging on this accounting job to give me additional 5 pero parang unlikely na. I have already scheduled my NAATI ahead of time such that by the time makapasa ako sa NAATI, my 100 points na ako, ;(

Initial plan of entry will be via partner visa (after this covid we will process the papers) your partner ko po yung mag.aaply ng student visa for IT masteral. Brisbane or Sunshine Coast sana plan nmin kasi mas mura tuition and cost of living. Thank you po sa pagsagot

She is planning to take CPA assessment para gamitin for PR application (graduate stream or general stream). We have a business w/ atleast 40 employees since 2010-2015. Hi. I am a CPA dito sa Pilipinas with 4 years of experience (external auditor and management accountant) and is getting married to Australian permanent resident (South Australia). I plan to get an accreditation in CPA australia using membership pathway para di sayang yung pinagtapos ko sa Pilipinas.

Just want to ask if I become a member, can I practice the profession without any restriction even if I migrated using Partner Visa and not the skilled migrant visa? Medyo mas mahirap kunin yung skilled migrant visa as compared to Partner Visa kasi.

Also, is it okay to get study/get accreditation for CPA australia while already residing in Australia?

Thanks in advance po sasagot. Needed lang talaga ng enlightenment regarding dito.

AFIK, walang agreement ang CPAA with PICPA, so walang direct pathway to become a full member of CPAA. CPA din ako sa pinas, and how i wish meron nun para naka save ako ng pera, but sadly, wala 😂.

So, you need to start as an Associate (ASA) member tpos complete the CPA program. Ang pakonsuelo pala is yung sa experience requirement. You just have to submit a Letter of Good Standing from PICPA para exempted kana.

You can start your CPA program regardless of your current place since computerized naman yung exams. :)

My brother-in-law is stepping in and will be talking to his lawyer about the migration. Not totally aware which route he's talking about but it's one which will not require me to take IELTS just the college credentials etc... hmmm so may skills assessment pa din, na mention nya that they (his lawyer) will need me to put in some changes on my job descriptions to cater that of the countries' format.

Will try to share progress soon... Just landed PH again, will do the leg work for the requirements na from my Uni...

Pag migrate route required ang English test.

Pag employer sponsored yun alam ko wala English test required.

If you’re migrating there as a partner instead as a skilled migrant, there is no urgent need to do the CPA accreditation. Recruitment in Australia vs Philippines is slightly different. Over there, it’s not more what you’ve studied, whether you’re CPA or not, it’s more if what experience you could bring in.

If I may ask, anong school po kayo grad and what course? Is there anyone here na grad ng Lyceum, I checked TOR and subject desc ko andun nman mga mandatory subjects.

@RheaMARN1171933 may bearing po ba ung school sa assesment? Kase sabi nila atleast section 1 or 2 ung school. ENS186 kase and aapplyan ko and I need to make sure na I get positive assessment para di masayang ang nomination ng employer. I have tota of 10yrs accounting exp, pero kung di macredit ung iba, baka 5yrs lang ok nadin kase 3yrs lang ang qualification sa ENS186-DE.

To anyone na mkkpagshare, looking forward sa mkkpagbigay ng idea or experience nila. Thank you.

Full skills assessment is required for migration purposes. If the applicant is claiming points on work experience, best to also apply for skilled employment assessment.
