Just did a check at MARA.gov.au

    https://portal.mara.gov.au/search-the-register-of-migration-agents/register-of-migration-agent-details/?ContactID=9e89029f-a052-e311-9402-005056ab0eca

Seems like they just recently registered, although they were operating since 2003 "as they mentioned on their website" without any affiliation to MARA during that time? I don't know.

By the way just an FYI... Upon a few research MNAL is operated by a person named Carmine Mercorella. Googling a bit will give you these

    https://www.moneymanagement.com.au/news/financial-planning/asic-watch-unsolicited-share-offerer

    https://www.findlaw.com.au/news/4178/court-makes-final-orders-in-asic-proceedings-again.aspx

Just something to consider or to clear up with them.

Re: their registration in 2021, it’s a renewal I think. They posted it on their FB page. The first 2 digit on an agent’s MARN means the year they are registered to be an agent. In their case they are registered since 2003. I am also thinking availing their services. Seems legit to me.

@Admin I've read the articles that you've provided, the 2nd article hits Carmine Mercorella's name because it contains the name of Carmine Misale and Guesseppe Antonio Mercorella. I don't know about the first article but their age are a bit close since the DOB of the person from the article is July 14, 1975.

Hello @kitsocampo, how was your application with MNAL? Just signed a contract with them nung 2022 pero Jan 2023 pa ko nakapag take ng PTE. Have you received your PR visa grant na? What subclass?
    Thanks.

Hi, I just have a concern and hope anyone can answer. I am also under My New Australian Life with Carmine as my Lawyer. I received an email today regarding my application update and I was advised that my Expression of Interest and Skills Assessment has already lapsed. So I need to lodge a new skills assessment and lodge multiple new EOI's this coming July. However, I was not aware that they will charge me for this additional work when I did not received any invite since January 2023. I worry if this will be worth it? What if I will not receive an invite again for the next 1 or 2 years? So they will charge me again?

I do not know what to do with this setback. Hope anyone can share if they have experienced this. Thank you.

Hala considered as additional work pala sa kanila yun. Nasa contract yan? You can go through it. Unless stated nga sa contract and you signed, pwede mo icontest yan.

Hi @mathilde9 & @era222 , thank you for the reply. Yes, I read my contract and it was indeed stated that they might need additional fee for any additional work required. But I did not thought at that time when I signed the contract that this would be considered as an additional work if I did not secure an invite within the migration year. I could have accepted it if the amount they are asking is due to my skills assessment will be expiring and they need to have it reassessed. But they are asking additional fee for another 2 years of work.

I signed with them last 2019 but resumed my application just last year.

Nasa stage ako na nagreregret ako bakit ako nag push pa sa kanila kasi this migration year wala sila masiyado updates sa application ko and I feel hindi talaga sila focus and hands-on unless bayaran na.

tsk sobra naman sila! when will your contract end? mag DIY kana tapos wag kana magpagawa ng kahit ano sakanila. ikaw na lang gumawa nung additional work, keri mo yun!

or if you still want, find another reputable agency na lang.

So it's up to me if I'll continue with them or terminate the contract pero ang sakit lang na lahat ng nabayad mapupunta lang sa wala. I'm thinking of going DIY rin pero I'm actually losing hope if I should still continue with this AU dream.

Iyak lang pero walang susuko, you're halfway there! May chance ka pa to increase your points, do that and makakasama ka din sa invites soon. Some members here also encountered setbacks pero lumaban haha ayan mga granted na and waiting for grants na din. Fighting!

So it's up to me if I'll continue with them or terminate the contract pero ang sakit lang na lahat ng nabayad mapupunta lang sa wala. I'm thinking of going DIY rin pero I'm actually losing hope if I should still continue with this AU dream.

if i were you, i would terminate it. they are not worth your money and tears! if straight forward naman profile mo, keri mo ang DIY! start reading and researching. walang susuko!!!

Iyak lang pero walang susuko, you're halfway there! May chance ka pa to increase your points, do that and makakasama ka din sa invites soon. Some members here also encountered setbacks pero lumaban haha ayan mga granted na and waiting for grants na din. Fighting!

Haha been there kasi. Tapos maiisip mo pa yung pera na nailabas mo na for that, nakaka demotivate talaga.

I prepared myself na hindi super smooth tong journey since DIY. Nagbayad na din ako sa agent and terminated my contract before haha. Naexpire-an na din ng skills assessment. Naka encounter ng incompetent assessor. PTE retakes na nakaka demoralize haha.

Yung waiting time for an invite talaga yung make or break moment for me. Dito ko natutunan magtiwala nalang talaga. Nakakadepress kaya yung period na yun. Talagang sabi ko, Lord if this is for me, let me do it with your guidance kahit may hiccups help me recover. Bigay mo na to sakin please. Ganorn haha.

β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜…
