Ganyan na lagi news ng Aus. Since 2017 ko pa binabantayan news nila about sa immigration and stuff. To no surprise, every year humihirap lang ang criteria haha

NSW - dahil sa taas ng points maraming pangarap ang binago at ibang iba sa sinabi sa Job Summit. :-( well sana maconsider pa din nila na mabigyan ng chance ibaba ang points requirements. Its totally shutting down sa iba na mababa ang points. :-( Hope sa ibang states mabigay ang allocation na hindi magagamit sa NSW.

Malay naman natin, pag naubos na mga high pointers, ibaba nila yung required points para sa ilang occupation groups hehe

True. Ang usapan pa naman leading to the Summit ay they want to make Australia more competitive sa labour market, kasi they've become relatively less attractive to migrants dahil sa redtape barrier. Wew, hahaha.

I wonder if they'll flex their rules eventually within this financial year. Sana naman!

Nakakalungkot na even though this is NSW, may direct impact ito sa invitation process ng VIC. Mas magiging lax yung competition ng VIC if people will also consider NSW as their state of choice, kaso mukhang pang-onshore applicants lang ang list nila LOL what a joke.

Nakakainis lang din kasi itong premiere nila na si Perrottet, tanda ko nung 2021 siya tong gustung-gusto ng "Big NSW" lol such clownery.

May nabasa naman ako even onshore candidates are unable to meet the criteria kasi nga it's too high.

Anyway, wala naman tayo magagawa. At the end of the day, "applicants" lang tayo. And it's a privilege to get any AU visa for that matter.

Malay natin mag iba ihip ng hangin within the FY. Maging "true to their word" sila. Haha.

TAS - 491 lang available sa offshore and may additional requirement sila na at least 2 tasmanian employer contact (evidence such as email) as part of nomination process. Once mainvite ito

Impossible din yang 100+ kahit onshore unless experience 10 years offshore + onshore for the points na pwd ma claim and dito nag aral sa Au at may specialisation para dagdag points. Pag asa nalang namin talaga is sponsorship or switch career LOL 🤣

Just keep the faith guys. Sa haba ng oras ko sa kakabasa sa migration game, isang bagay ang tinandaan ko - Do not believe any news na sinasabi nila about opening up or etc, instead abangan ang outcome through invites and grants. I know how saddening things are pero wala tayo magagawa, beyond our control na ang rules. Personally I had to wait for almost 3 yrs to get invited, by that time sanay na ako sa disappointment lol.

Naaalala ko pa back in 2017, 60 pts lang ako and may mga kasabayan ako na 65 pts na nainvite agad for 189. The only point difference we had was age (22 pa lang ako nun, waiting to turn 25 for the +5 pts was the most excruciating part). Nung nag 25 na ako back in 2020, COVID happened and when I was invited, it was one of the last few rounds for my occupation (ECE). Also, hindi na 65 pts ang naiinvite sa 189 syempre. If di ko kinuha yung 491 back then, Student visa pa rin ako now I reckon kasi since April 2020, wala na invite sa ECE for 189 or 491. So super clutch di ba LOL. Everytime na I reach the goalpost, sh*t happens pero ganun talaga hahaha

If maxed out na points nyo and wala na kayo makuhaan, there's nothing to do but wait. Darating din yan in the right time

Yes kasama yung state nomination if 190.
Kung 491 kasama yung 15 pts.

Syempre kailangan mataas para kikita yung Naati na 5 pts.
And kung nagaral ka pa sa au plus points ka pa, kikita rin sila doon. Kaya top 3 ang business ng au ay galing sa students, kasi kikita sila doon.

So ang gagawin nila dapat Do you have a Masters degree by research or a Doctorate degree from an Australian educational institution that included at least 2 academic years study in a relevant field?

5 pts rin ito.

Kasi tight rin ito kasi dapat after 8 years of experience pagkatapos yun nagmasteral ka na sa AU. And natapos mo before magEOI. Kasi ang hinahanap na points sa experience for the last 10 years. Syempre pag tumagal mababawasan na ang points mo sa job experience.

In other words, mahirap makapasok ang accountant kahit sa 491 sa NSW. Yung oras naayon rin sa circumtances mo for the 10 years after ka grumaduate noong 20 years old ka. Naiplano mo na hanggang umabot ka ng 30 years old. May time ka pa na magsubmit ng EOI and sana mainvite ka pagkagrad mo ng masteral ng accounting kasi mababawasan na ang points mo sa job experience kasi ika 11 year na paglumampas ka pa ng isang taon bago ka mainvite.

Wow ang galing naman 95 points kayo sa 189. Kokont lang ang mga offshore na nakakaabot ng 95 points.
Kung sana ibang occupation kayo other than ICT. Pasok na kayo sa 189.

Sorry natawa lang ako dun sa isang group, may nag-sabi na "NSW = NO SKILLED WORKERS" haha!

Pero tbh inaccept ko na na NSW is free to implement whatever criteria they want, because it's their state. They report skills shortages, pero mukhang hindi pala totoo yun, hence their occupation list and criteria.

Hopefully mag-relax in 2023. Baka binabalance nila yung local workforce (which sa mga nababasa ko, a lot of Australians want dahil daw may housing infrastructure crisis) + immigration, lalo na with the new TAFE upskilling program. Ewan, we can only speculate.
