    06 2023 - Receive 1st ACS skill assessment (1st and 2nd job not assessed, 5 yrs deducted / Not Bachelor degree, only AQF Associate Degree with a Major in computing / Sep 2020+ onwards considered)
    07 2023 - Tried my best to get the needed documents from my previous employers

    10-12 weeks po ang nakapublish sa website nila.
    Yung sakin around 13weeks (feb25 - may24)

    Earliest na ang 12 weeks. Start following up by that time. Mine took exactly 16 weeks.

    Hi! To those na nagaayos ng documents, nag close na kasi yung isang company na pinasukan ko, so di na sila makakapagbigay ng coe. Any advice kung ano pwede gawin? I read na pwede mag statutory declaration, pwede kaya na ka workmate ko yung sa SD?

    bago sila nagclose, walang binigay na COE kahit luma? pwede naman workmate kaso dapat maprove niyo na nagkawork kayo

    First things first : If you left the company before it was closed, you should've received a COE from them along with your clearance. even if it's old, you can still use it.

    No COE/job description : Like what was suggested, you can use a stat dec, and have it signed by your previous manager or a senior colleague, then notarized. - This is easier actually, since you are free to put in all the info required by ACS, eg. no. of hours worked (should be 40, if i remember), annual salary (should be the same as what's in the COE or pay evidence), exact start/end dates in DD-MMM-YYYY format (should be the same as COE), positions held and important keywords like "I have overseen/witnessed his/her work" or "have interacted with him/her on a regular basis," signing manager's current contact details (should be official/corporate email and business phone), etc. Then list down the job description - again, since you're the one writing it, you can highlight your previous responsibilities that align to your desired job code. Just don't copy from ACS/internet since it can be detected, use your own words.

    No leaving certificate : You can include a letter of explanation along with your COE. Explain the exact reason why there was no leaving certificate (sample: the company is now closed and this is not the norm in the Philippines). Use this letter as well to call out other issues with your COE/stat dec, eg. reason why CEO has no job description (was not provided by the company or COE is electronically generated) if your signatory can't provide a corporate email/business phone and only provided gmail/mobile phone - state the reason as well (maybe against company policy).

    These also apply to your stat dec signatories. They should have COE and if there's no leaving certificate, an explanation letter as well.

    Pay evidence : Don't hesitate to ask your previous company's exit management contact for payslips/ITRs. For big companies like Accenture, they usually provide it. If you have no official pay document from the company, then include the reason on your letter of explanation and indicate the alternative (SSS/PAG-IBIG screenshot).

    Bear in mind, your submitted documents have to be decision-ready when the case officer picks it up. Meaning, all requirements are complete, and all issues/gaps in the documents are with an explanation in the letter. This makes your processing time faster, as the CO won't need to request from you, then wait for your reply. Depending on the CO, you don't know when will they get back to you after your reply - some might reply immediately, while some might go through all their unopened cases first before going back to your (pending) case. A simple gap or missed requirement could mean days or weeks of delay in your processing time.

Use this letter as well to call out other issues with your COE/stat dec, eg. reason why CEO has no job description (was not provided by the company or COE is electronically generated) if your signatory can't provide a corporate email/business phone and only provided gmail/mobile phone - state the reason as well (maybe against company policy).

    These also apply to your stat dec signatories. They should have COE and if there's no leaving certificate, an explanation letter as well.

    Pay evidence : Don't hesitate to ask your previous company's exit management contact for payslips/ITRs. For big companies like Accenture, they usually provide it. If you have no official pay document from the company, then include the reason on your letter of explanation and indicate the alternative (SSS/PAG-IBIG screenshot).

    Bear in mind, your submitted documents have to be decision-ready when the case officer picks it up. Meaning, all requirements are complete, and all issues/gaps in the documents are with an explanation in the letter. This makes your processing time faster, as the CO won't need to request from you, then wait for your reply. Depending on the CO, you don't know when will they get back to you after your reply - some might reply immediately, while some might go through all their unopened cases first before going back to your (pending) case. A simple gap or missed requirement could mean days or weeks of delay in your processing time.

    Hello. My wife took BS Management Information Systems in college and was a software engineer for 4yrs. She has a different/unrelated job now.

    May chance kaya na maging positive yung assessment nya so that we can claim 10pts for partner skills?

    If ever 4 years ideduct, suitable pa ba yon? Or dapat at least 2 years experience po after deduction?

    1. Regarding stat dec, suggestion lang po kausapin nyo po kahit isang manager lang kung willing siya mag sign nung affidavit stating na under kayo sa kanya within that 5 years. if not need nyo nga isa-isahin. as long as yung manager nyo is willing to testify in my opinion.

    First things first : If you left the company before it was closed, you should've received a COE from them along with your clearance. even if it's old, you can still use it.

    No COE/job description : Like what was suggested, you can use a stat dec, and have it signed by your previous manager or a senior colleague, then notarized. - This is easier actually, since you are free to put in all the info required by ACS, eg. no. of hours worked (should be 40, if i remember), annual salary (should be the same as what's in the COE or pay evidence), exact start/end dates in DD-MMM-YYYY format (should be the same as COE), positions held and important keywords like "I have overseen/witnessed his/her work" or "have interacted with him/her on a regular basis," signing manager's current contact details (should be official/corporate email and business phone), etc. Then list down the job description - again, since you're the one writing it, you can highlight your previous responsibilities that align to your desired job code. Just don't copy from ACS/internet since it can be detected, use your own words.

Explain the exact reason why there was no leaving certificate (sample: the company is now closed and this is not the norm in the Philippines).     the only way na maging bachelors ang section 2 / 3 is kung PRC board passer. Kung IT / CS, sadly diploma lang talaga kung galing section 2 school

    sa Philippines, Affidavit yan kasi wala naman tayo statdec dito. Yung terms na statdec and affidavit is interchangeable sa thread na to minsan
