Hingi ako ng inputs nyo guys...ako naman nalilito na sa pinagagawa ko sa life, tama ba to.. mag start ako ng new job sa June 26, promising yong work at parang may training overseas pero if ever may employment bond yan meaning bawal mag resign in 2 years. 'Di ko makita if based ka sa PH, pero either you stay on the job for 2 years (if may bond) and just visit Aus to activate your visa or resign before 2 years and pay up. Super laki ba ng bond?

Nasabi na ng iba pero meron lang required first entry, literally kahit one day lang sa AU to activate the PR visa granted, then ung visa mismo is valid for 5 years WHILE nasa labas ka ng AU.

I have the same plan, mag first entry lang then baka sa 4th year ng visa validity lang ako mag start mag work sa AU.

hmmmm. if ma-grant ka naman ng visa, meron lang dun first entry requirement na kelangan mo pumasok sa Australia but then the visa naman is good for 5 years.

Yung 5yrs na yan is the travel component. Your PR will never expire, unless hindi ka nag first entry and so you never stayed in AU at all tapos nag lapse na yung 5yrs (sobrang sayang lang lol), di ka na makakapasok nyan. It will be harder to prove and get the Resident Return Visa (RRV) na tinatawag (Google it) in case gustuhin mo na tumira ng AU. Goodbye AU.

Pero, kung nag stay ka naman onshore, before that 5yrs expired, then you are PR forever. This case, mas madali na kumuha ng RRV in case you wanna travel. Or better yet, comply with the citizenship requirements and achieve that instead. :)

In short, it's highly recommended that you are onshore when that travel component expires. Para mas madali kang makagalaw and see your options.

I was asked to provide payment evidence for one of my work experience. I lodge it thru my agent and we didn't upload form 80 and 1221 at hindi naman hiningi sa S56.
Naisip ko lang if we should upload form 80 kahit hindi naman hiningi? Visa 491 pala yung inapplyan ko.

Yes I think you just upload what's requested.

Hello po, reading this thread makes me feel so relieve, hehe --- may mga karamay on the waiting game plus being torn between staying sa current company or "tiis mode". Praying na sana mag-grant na soon. :)

Hahaha akala ko after invite makakatulog na ako, meron pa rin palang anxiety after the bakod lols. Kapit, mga frens 😭

Congrats sa mga na-grant ❤️ nawa’y lahat. Amen!

You said what's on my mind lol. Parang naka-pause ako sa life ko now kasi naghihintay ako ng visa grant  Kapit lang tayo mga friends! Sana next FY bumuhos na grants!

HAHA! me too! I got my 189 visa after 5 months pero di pa ako super ready to move to Australia so nagfirst entry lang muna ako ng one week.

So just a background, Nasa Dubai kasi ako ngayon. and fortunately okay talaga ang work at life here. The main reason why nagplan ako sa Aus is for long term kasi walang citizenship or PR dito. So ngayon, I'm maximizing my time to save at ienjoy pa ang UAE plus travel to near countries/regions hehe.Plus walang tax dito so salary-wise, mas malaki ang sahod here than Aus kasi may tax na hehe (atleast for me).

Though at some point I have to make the move na then siguro balik na lang middle east if Australia passport na hehe.

Hello! What about yung remaining 10%? Like if rejected or granted.

Walang biometrics for 190, since PR visa yan.

The global visa processing times are consolidation/statistics of the past visas processed and granted by DHA based on the age of the applications. In other words, it's historical and not to be confused or used as prediction for future grants.

Been there, alam ko yung pakiramdam. I know it's easier said than done, pero wag mainip.

Hi everyone, I am currently waiting for an update in Visa 189. I was invited on 06Oct22 with 65 points (actually 60 points). EA only assessed my Bachelor's Degree as Associate Degree (which I can claim only 10 points) due to No PRC License. Civil Engineer ako btw, I lodged my application and claimed Bachelors Degree in order to get the 15 points. I read in the bottom of my EA assessment na DHA pa din yun magdedecide sa pag award ng points kaya nag claim pa din ako ng Bachelors and nag attached ng some relevant documents para ma prove yun Bachelors degree ko.

25Mar23 - I received S56, i was expecting that it will be about my degree, but No, they only asked me for the medical of my 3 years old daughter na nag change ng passport. (My status immediately changed into Initial Assessment)

02May23 - I found out that they already corrected the spelling of my name sa IMMI Account but still the status is Further Assessment.

Worried lang ako if may marereceived pa ba ako 2nd CO contact after this. Over claimed po ako ng 5 points if based sa documents.

    Points Breakdown:
Age: 25 points (I'm turning 39yo in few more days)
Study: 15 points (As per EA assessment, I can only claim 10 points as Associate Degree)
Exp: 15 points (In my RSEA they counted all my experience at that time which is 14yrs+)
English: 10 points (barely gets proficient)
Spouse: 0 points (I didn't claim for this, we just attached his CEMI)

    We are Family of 4.

Worst case scenario is ma-grant visa niyo, then DHA finds out na overclaimed points pala, baka madeport pa kayo.

    Salamat :) Kita kits haha
