When i called, they confirmed that they already sent the results, and no other tests needed. They told me to just wait 5-10 working day for additional instructions (if any) from the "embassy."

After SLEC submits the medical results to the embassy (or is it direct to Bupa)?, it is Bupa who will email you within the 5-10 working days period if they require further testing.
Or Bupa submits to DHA, and then when a CO picks up your case (which may take months), it is only then that CO informs you that further testing is required.

The second scenario is my concern, since if indeed additional tests were needed, the wait time until my case gets picked up could have been used to do the additional testing.

Bupa will do the clearance and request further test if required. Once health clearance cleared, DHA will continue to process the visa and may or may not have CO, some applicant got their visa directly. Hope it helps :-)

Hello, meron ba naka experience na negative sa sputum and negative sa culture, pero umigi ang xray? ano ang instructions ni BUPA sa ganito? Mag gamot pa din ba? Yung hubby ko kasi nakitaan ng infiltrates sa initial medical, negative naman sputum nya and kanina ang xray nya ang sabi meron pa onti. Di na daw kami sasabihan if mag negative or positive ang culture nya, pero if for example negative, maclear ba sya or dahil sa nag bago ang xray nya, hindi maclear?

Hi @irl031816, di namin alam kasi we went with a migration agent, ask ko sya later if she can view, pero baka wala pa changes kasi inaantay pa namin results ng culture nya. Sana talaga negative. Yun lang, ang worry ko pag negative, baka dahil hindi stable yung radiographic result nya bilang nagimprove e pag gamotin pa din

Medyo no help din kasi yung panel physician, nagmamadali daw. Haha parang ang sabi, bahala na si DHA magdecide. So medyo anxious kami.

Hopefully po maging ok na po yung results pag lumabas na lahat ng test at i clear na po kayo ng panel doctor.

Merong events po na yung panel doctor will decide if may nakita sa x-ray even nag negative sa sputum ay mag proceed ng medications as early before pa magka results ang culture.

Bupa will decide kung mag health clearance according sa procedures at findings ni panel doctor.

Pag nanghingi ng further things po ang Bupa, its either repeat x-ray after 3 months, but some panel doctors will advise to proceed medication.

Sa sept14 pa @irl031816. Wala naman na iba pang instructions other sa if magpositive we’ll be notified, otherwise it’s up to Bupa ano next steps. So ayon, kaya naghahanap ako sana ng may same case samin haha yung nag resolve ang xray, pero di pa totally clear. Exhausting na yung pag aantay kasi 🥲 onshore na kasi ako, inaantay ko lang sumunod yung mag ama ko kaya medyo atat.

May schedule na po ako ng sputum. Magrerequest po sana ako kay Bupa ng extension dahil ung schedule ko po ay lagpas na ng 28 days leadtime na requirement ni bupa. August 13 ko po nareceive yung letter and ang appointment ko po sa slec ay Sept 26 to 28 pa po. Ang problem ko po wala po ako hawak na any document na proof ng schedule ko since itinawag ko lang po yung request ng appointment ko sa slec. Ok lang po kaya yun na magrequest ng extension kahit walang attachment? Nag email na rin po ako sa aupanel ng slec pero wala pa po silang feedback since Aug 15 puro automatic response mail lang po ang narereceive ko.

Yes po, just email Bupa regarding your extension. They will understand naman po. Just tell them your schedule and at alam nila yung culture naman po is 6-8 weeks ang results.

Hello, tumawag ako nung Aug 24 to update, on process pa daw kasi ichecheck pa daw muna yun ng pulmo bago nila isubmit via eMedical kaya tawag na lang daw ulit ako next week. Hayyy akala ko pa naman agad agad nila masusubmit yun. 😓 Tapos once masubmit nila around 1-2 weeks pa yun bago maclear sa immi account eh.

Oo nga. Tapos ang instructions nila samin e tatawagan ka on the 8th week if positive, so kung di kayo natawagan meaning negative na yung hubby mo, dapat matic na yung sign off ng pulmo. Hay. Can you update us once cleared na kayo @irl031816? I think need ko din pala mag adjust ng expectations sa length of time nung samin din. Thank you!

Hayy true. Actually nung initial medicals namin, pinaulit yung xray ni hubby nung time na yun tapos pinapabalik kami ng after lunch para sa results. Eh kaso medyo matagal pa ang hihintayin namin and medyo pagod na din ang kids so sabi dun sa SLEMC, sige daw pwede na kaming umuwi, tatawagan na lang daw kami within 10 days kung need ng further tests pag wala daw nareceive na call it means okay na. Pero nung naclear na yung medicals naming tatlo tapos yung kay hubby in progress pa din, nag email na ko sa SLEMC for update then after ilang days nareceive namin yung email from Bupa na may findings pala sa medicals nya and may further tests na need pa nga gawin. 😓

So need din talaga mag update pa sa kanila, sa tingin ko sa dami ng applicants kasi na hawak nila kaya nagkakaroon ng lapses pagdating sa monitoring and updating nila ng ganyang may mga deferral ang medicals. Sige I will update here once cleared na sya including the timeline.

Yung sakin po today ang result ng culture ko, wala naman ako natanggap na tawag or email from them during the waiting period so I assume walang problema sa culture ko. Kasi yung smear ko naman po ay negative then yung repeat xray wala pinagbago. Balak ko din po sana tumawag sa SLEC para sa follow up status pero ipagpapa next week ko na lang din hahaha. Hello, hindi din nila dinisclose and wala din naman sinabi na need pumunta if gusto kunin ang results. Ganyan naman yan sila, basta sasabihin na nasubmit na nila yung results through emedical tapos wait na lang sa correspondence ng Bupa hehe

Then wait na lang po sa Health Clearance Provided - no action required (means ok na po at continue na to process yung visa) after 5 business day or 1 week.

September 7 - Called SLEC for follow up status (sabi ko sa taas next week na lang ako tatawag pero di rin ako nakatiis haha). They didn’t disclose the results pero sabi nila okay na daw at wala na ako pending. Iuupload daw nila yung result either Friday (Sep 8) ng hapon or Monday (Sep11) ng morning.

September 12 - Medicals were submitted to BUPA. Status was changed from Examinations in Progress to "Examinations ready for assessment - no action required"

September 17 - Kaninang 4am nag login ako kahit nasa isip ko na baka di sila mag update kasi weekend pero gawi ko na mag check ng online portal everyday haha. Then around 10am nag try lang ako ulit mag login then, boom “Health clearance provided - no action required”. Sobrang gulat ko kasi I really thought na during business days lang sila mag approve and I mean yung weekdays. Pero ayun nag update sila even weekends.

Hello po, just this morning na nag login ako ulit to check, finalised na po yung application namin. Natanggap na po namin yung Grant Notice waaaaah!! Iask ko pa nga lang po sana sa migration agent namin kaso nauna na yung grant bago pa ako makapagtanong hehehe. 482 Visa po hawak ko kaya tingin ko mabilis lang din na finalise.
