Hi @Butterfly8i8, im bout to see our celebrant this weekend who is a pinoy din and he offered free of charge in certifying the documents. So not sure if how much it cost to certify docs as true copy. I think its different from notarization.

The consulate accomplished the Notarial Authority section. I believe that's part of the $45 fee for processing the report.

Hi, yung current processing time form 820 is 24 - 31 months according to immi site. So if tumawag ka, they will just tell you that your application still within the published time frame so you'll have to wait. Even if you're MA send an inquiry, they will also get the same reply i.e 24-31 months ang processing time.
Front loaded na ba yung application mo, like tapos na medical, NBI and police check, if you 12 months na after you've done them, iinigan ka ulit ni immi ng updated as they have expired.
Pero this has to be shared by your MA, hindi mo sya pwedeng i manula import sa immi account mo even if you know the transaction number.
Also, if you reach the 23 month mark and haven't heard anything from immi, what I suggest is to ask your MA to send a request to have your application be considered for both 820(Temporary) and 801(Permanent) since you've already waited 24 months. That way if granted diretso PR ka na, cutting down your wait time.
GoodLuck!

To those who are already granted a bridging visa, did you take advantage of enrolling in AMEP or the Adult Migration English Program? Just want to ask how's your experience? Another question, have you also started applying for jobs?

He was granted with 1 year multiple entry Tourist Visa with max 3 months stay. He doesn't have "NO FURTHER STAY" condition attached to it so on his first entry, after 80 days we applied for partner visa. He was granted with Bridging visa straight away however it's still inactive. His bridging visa with full work rights kicked in 91 days after his arrival.

Ok po. If sa case niyo ay ganoon, I guess hindi na po kailangan umalis uli ng fiance ko pagkafile namin ng onshore partner visa. Initially, ang pagkakaintindi ko po kasi ay kapag nagexpire na yung 1 year ng tourist visa ay doon palang mag kick in yung bridging visa regardless if it was granted early on.
Maraming salamat po!

Good evening po everyone. I would like to ask about my visa po sana, currently my husband is the main applicant and he has just finished his studies. We are confused, should we apply for a graduate visa or should I study for a masters? Which do you think is better po ma’am?
Please po. By the way, cookery po natapos ng asawa ko.
Thank you po. Have a good night.

It depends on what your goal is. Do you need to study to be able to nominate an occupation in the Skilled Occupation List? If not, won't a Temporary Graduate Visa have more beneficial work rights for both of you? A Temporary Graduate Visa will enable both of you to work full time for at least 18 months, whereas a student visa has a restriction of 48 hours per fortnight for both of you. If your husband doesn't get full time work experience, will he still have a good chance of being invited to apply for a skilled immigrant visa in the future? I'm assuming ang goal nyo is to get PR eventually.

Sir, salamat po sa pag reply. Our main goal po sir is PR.

I suggest you talk to a migration agent to better understand how the upcoming changes from the new migration strategy may affect your plans. Kung mag-aaral ka ng Masters matatapos ka after 2 years pa. By then, in place na yung bagong points system na hindi pa natin alam kung ano exactly yun. In the meantime, your husband only has 6 months to apply for a Graduate visa. The age cap for Graduate visas will also be lowered from 50 years old to 35 years old next year, in case that affects you.
At this point na maraming pagbabago sa migration policy ng Australia, sa tingin ko mas maigi to discuss options with a professional. Sa tingin ko, and this is just my personal opinion, it might be safer to go with a visa that will enable you to transition to an employer sponsored visa faster. Based on the new migration strategy one of the areas the government is working on is to provide a PR pathways to workers on temporary skilled visas. So you can try to take advantage of that din dahil nandito na rin naman kayo.

Hi po, sponsor here (subclass 189) planning to go in Au on May 2023 w/ my partner via TV. Both working in Singapore.
Ask ko lang po sa pag-iaapply po namin sya ng Partner's Visa (820/821), need pa po ba namin kumuha ng police clearance here in SG since we stayed here for about 5 years? Or should we just wait for the advice of the CO?
Thank you.
