So ilalagay ko pa rin po ba yung Japan both sa address and travel history? pero pag ganun po gagawin ko, pinapakuha ako ng pcc sa japan kahit na po 9 months lang ako dun. pag isa lang dun nilagayan ko (address or travel history) di na po nirerequired

As already replied previously, you just need to include it under Address History, not travel history kasi yun ang usual address mo AT THAT TIME.

Hi! If you were invited and eventually applied as a single person, is it okay to propose and get engaged while waiting for your grant?

Single, Married, De Facto and Engaged kasi are different marital statuses sa applications and all articles are only talking about being "partners". "Partners" are defined as spouses or de facto partners. This is where the confusion lies dahil being engaged does not mean being in de facto, otherwise there would not be 2 different options for each. Also, we're planning to get married after the grant.

    Take?

being single gives you 10 pts. being engaged does not equate to being single, no?

    to add:

TLDR; If you have indicated single in your application, you must remain single until your grant is approved.

Correct and agreed. But the video talks about changes in awarded points due to marital changes. How many points do you earn for being single and for being engaged? I don't know. However based on the point calculator, the points change depending on the skills and english proficiency of your partner - again, there is no mention for when you are engaged. Based on their definition, being engaged does not fall under being in a married or de facto relationship. Additionally, the screenshot you provided from the department's website used the word "may" when referring to awarding points and since policies are based on laws, and laws are interpreted to the letters, I needed more information than what's on the screenshot.

So I guess the question here now is who actually had gone through the same scenario as mine and how did it go?

Sa ngayon relax lang at ipon nang malakasan at get ready for that 🕰️

Agree! Especially yung July-Dec 2023 lodgements. Ang onte na nga ng quota for invites that year, tapos tayo pa yata sasalo ng worst timeline s processing (possible 20 months). Anyway ibig sabihin mas worth it yung feeling pag nagrant. Haha. (Haha nalang. Wala magagawa kundi maghintay)

Siguro until feb 2025 mauubos yung june 2023. Then jul-dec 2023 6,921 (90% lodgments), siguro until june 2025. Jan 2024 lodgments new fy na. haha so another 7-8months waiting for me as Jan 2024 baby. during lodgment, 11-12mos lang processing, sana hindi na lumagpas ng 18months.

sana maubos 2023 lodgements before new FY begins.

Archi draftsperson po ako and curious lang if ilang araw (pinakamabilis at pibakamatagal) inassign yung case officer niyo. Salamat po sa sasagot.

14 months in, received pa rin. Wala CO contact. Expected to be in received state until early next year.
