@kickerz di ako sure kung ng-aadvise ba ang ACS kung anong occupation dpat i-nominate mo. So i guess dpat beforehand, naassess mo na kung anong occupation dpat mgfall yung work experience mo.

solidjeff - same experience with my friend, same kami ng ninominate..sys ad. but ACS advised my friend, if its ok to have her assessed with a different occupation. hayun naging support engineer sya. altho she stated in the initial application that she is applying for sys ad assessment.

hello! i'm on a 457 visa, currently residing in sydney and planning to apply for ACS skill assessment. questions po:

1. i have brought documents here that were certified from pinas last year, valid pa din po ba yun or do i need to re-scan and ipa-certify dito sa AU?

2. plan ko to use "Developer/Programmer" na anzsco code (spent 3+ years as a java dev). ang concern ko lang, baka hindi ma count yung work ko ngayon kasi i was sponsored using the "Web Developer" anzsco code (more on web development work ko ngayon). any ideas?

3. gano po katagal inaabot ng processing ngayon, i mean based sa experience niyo?

The COE's I have are from my previous employers and the latest of them was from 2002 - 2007. I want to claim the maximum points for the work experience which is 15pts but the problem is I can only submit an assessment to ACS with the work experience from 2002 - 2007 (only 5 yrs). Is there a way I can get that 15pts without my latest COE (from 2007 - present)?

ang hirap naman.. why not get a letter from HR na nagsasabi na they will only provide a COE after you finish your contract written with the company letterhead. tapos hingi ka na lang ng statutory declaration from your colleague.

@kickerz Hi kickerz, thanks sa reply. Di talaga sila magbibigay kasi yon ang policy nila dito nasa military kasi ang work ko, masyado mahigpit at isa pa mas maintidihan nila pag Arabic pero pag English hirap sila. Pwede ko ba i-claim yong 15pts? Let say mag pa assess muna ako sa ACS sa mga dati ko employer tapos pag makuha ko na yong COE ko d2 saka ko i-submit pag hinanap sa DIAC?

@emc2013 teka po di po ata pede kasi ang i-aasses nila is based sa current date ng emplyment.

kung sa policy na '8 of the last 10 years in my occupation or closely related skilled occupation' meaning 2003 as the baseline, 2005-2007 lang ang maka-count. 3years lang po yun which is 5points, based pa sa ANZ code kung match sa work experience nyo.

i dont think na i-aasses nila yung 2002-2007 kasi required is kailangan employed ka ng 12months for the last 2years.

mas maigi gawa ka na lang ng statutory declaration from your colleague. kahit na for other reason yung COE, let say for phoneline application or insurance application hehe.

@loudandclear maybe you can clarify sir with ACS bakit NOT closely related assessment sayo...sayang din ang yrs na nabawas sayo... malay nyo magbago isip nila or nagkamali lang sila...
will consider this. thanks.

got a reply from ACS regarding my skills assessment. in fairness, ang bilis nila magreply. clear na how they've come up with the start date where I have met ACS requirments. my skills was assessed as "closely related" but they have a rule where the years deducted could be "2 years in the past 10 yrs" or "4 yrs in any time period" whichever is earlier daw. here's the link for details.

Almost complete na yun docs ko

TOR, Birth Certificate, Diploma, Certificate of Completion ng Bootcamp on programming, COEs from my 2 companies, pirma and notary na lang nun Affidavit since hindi nagbibigay si company ko ng detailed COE. By Wed I can apply online na

May question lang ako..my School is Section 2, I took up BS ECE and passed the board exams, do I need to send my PRC certificate na I passed? BS ECE kase ako and I am applying for the Analyst - Programmer role baka wala naman bearing. I read somewhere kase na pag 5 years ang course and section 2 they usually assess as bachelors degree...even more if may PRC. TIA baka pede ko pa ihabol un cert I haven't CTC'ed it yet the rest has been CTC'ed already sasabay ko na lang sa notary of the affidavit if ever.

@rejai_11 april 29 kmi nagpass then yesterday lang nareceive ang result so mga 12 weeks sya. Binabawasan nga talaga ng two years yung credited na working experience tsktsk then true nga ang sabi ng iba na pag nasa section 1 school then 5 years ang course aqf bachelors degree nga
