    May 27, 2013 - Sent application to Charles Darwin University (CDU)
    May 28, 2013 - Got Provisional Offer Letter from CDU
    May 30, 2013 - IDP forwarded requirements to CDU
    June 2, 2013 - CDU asking for the signed Provisional Offer Letter
    June 5, 2013 - IDP forwarded the Provisional Offer Letter. Received visa checklist from IDP. CDU acknowledged financial documents from my sponsor.
    June 19, 2013 - paid tuition fee to CDU, got Offer Letter and COE from CDU.
    June 20, 2013 - receive Full Offer
    June 24, 2013 - paid courier fee of 900 pesos as IDP's request through email
    June 25, 2013 - Visa lodged
    June 26, 2013 - got acknowledgement text message
    July 1, 2013 - email notice to undergo medical exam
    July 2, 2013 - medical at NHSI Cebu
    July 10, 2013 - medical results uploaded
    July 10, 2013 - emailed [email protected] to ask status, however no reply from them
    July 12, 2013 - received email from [email protected] and IDP for the Visa grant! Thank you, Lord!

    Kaya nga eh, maiintidihan ko sana kung na-refer yung medical ko, or may hiningi silang docs maliban sa late arrival...i dnt see any problem dun sa application ko and they promised me last Friday pa..

    @KG2 - talagang sinasadya nila noh na patagalin ang proseso? yung parang kailangan mong magmakaawa tapos wala kang magawa at di ka naman pinapansin, daig ko pa ang nawalan ng boypren ng sampung beses sa sobrang kakaisip,di na makatulog at payatot na ako.. paranoid na ang lola,,NGANGA at nakatutok lang sa email ko :((

    @skittles04 Depende iyan sa subclass. Mas mabilis kapag subclass 573 kaysa subclass 572. Pero may subclass 572 din less than a month. Kailangan lang malakas kapit kay Lord. Anong school mo? Tumatagal ang processing kapag may problema sa document at medical.

    @pepper tama ka pepper. siguro sa kaka email mo rin palagi parang gusto ka nilang mag suffer pa, maybe they are delighted pag nag email ka na nagmamakaawa, yung tipong nag papower trip sila. hehehe, I dont blame you din, and you are not the only one doing the same amount of follow up. Sabi nga nang kakilala ko na PH consul, hound ko daw ang diac at e-email parati. So ginawa ko. twice a week ako nag follow up. minsan 3x. na try mo bang e-email ang [email protected]? Yung senior immigration officer nila may ari nito.

    Sabi nila sa email sa yo we will try to finalize in 3 days. E ilang days na...tapos wala pa. July 12 kapa nag submit nang late arrival. Na isipan ko baka ang scenario ay 14 days after complete na ang papers(incl late arrival) If ganun...estimate ko

    July 15+14days= July 29 darating yung sayo? Naku naman.
    July 18+14days= Augut 2 darating yung sa akin - grabe naman to!
    It's now or DEFER!!!! GRRRR

    Ako nga target ko is to get to Darwin in 11 days starting today. pero mag aalas 12 na parang wala parin ang grant. Monday naman siguro ako maghihintay. Wag naman nilang sabihin na mag bibigay sila nang grant 2 days before August 5. Check mo yung grant mo(date) against dispatch date kung dumating na. Baka malayo ang lead time. Mag cocomplain tayo if ganun. Haha. Chineck ko sa friend ko na grant, July 1 ang date tapos dispatched July 4.

    Siguro dapat ko na ring mag follow up email. Hehehe.

    @Skittles - hindi naman po matagal magreply ang CDU. Kanino ka nag email? If mag eemail ka sa kanila, include mo yung [email protected], procrastination deterrent to nila. hehehe. about sa rental places. yup nag try ako mag hanap sa mga websites na sabi mo. pero advice ng uni wag mag book nang hindi na iinspect ang place. so our only choice is to stay sa hostel for a few days and look for a place to rent ASAP para di rin masakit sa bulsa.

    @KG2 - 2 to 3 times a day (ooppsss a week) lang din ako mag-email lately at super nagmamakaawa na ako, tapos anong oras na ngayon, wala pa talaga..pero parang magpprotesta na ako pag sa 29 p nila ibibigay.. yep dun ako mismo sa Senior officer nag eemail [email protected]?

    @pepper ako mam 2-3 time per week po. hindi po per day. hehehe. darating at darating din yan mam kung para sa atin yan, in time. Kung wala. OK na din ako sa next semester. Pag nag hingi sila nang ext letter, OK na daw ang visa mo. Ginagamit lang nila ang letter para formality and documentation sa validity nang visa

    @KG2 - salamat talaga ha... sobrang binigyan mo ako ng pag-asa, magkita kita tayo sa melbourne pag nakadalaw ka dun at welcome ka sa bahay namin dun pwede buong pamilya makitira sa amin pag mag bakasyon, bakante lang yung isang kwarto namin.. kahit di pa tayo nagkakilala personally, ako na bahala sa fiancee ko.. para man lang makapag pasalamat sa iyo personally..tsaka alam kong matagal tagal din ang pag aantay but you still remain very ok at nakaka inspire ka pa..
    tsaka parang 2hours ang byahe papuntang Darwin, not very sure... pero sobrang daming pinoy dun..bumabaha ang pinoy dun..

    July 15 - submit my updated COE to my CO Mr as per advised my Ms
    July 16 - acknowledged my submitted docs and they're aware of my new commencement date and my papers still on process.....
    July 15-17 - emailed them for status update and no reply since 16 July....
    July 22 - DIAC Emailed me and asked for bank history for
    July 23 - submitted Affidavit of support, bank history from my auntie
    July 25 - received a visa refusal letter..
    Reason for Visa Refusal
    These funds were not considered because the applicant has not provided evidence of regular income from her financial supporter.  
    July 26 - what a birthday present I received from Air21!!!

    @KG2 @pepper sina @cookie18 at @thorvirus natanggap nila visa nila nung 13. School granted them till the 18th fr commncemnt. 5 days till the latest intake. Or lets say 3 business days till the latest intake. Whew! Binigyan pa cla ng embassy ng ilang days to travel. Hehehe lupit! Baka ganyan rin situation nyo :) kapag sinabi nmn ng embassy that they'll finalize ur visa, they'll finalize it nmn :)

    At sakin nmn, they're too honest that they cannot finalize it for july intake. And they can't even finalize it till the 30th of july. Hahahaha sobrang honest. Kaya defer ko na application ko for next sem :)

    @pepper - sent mga 11AM, received reply 1:30 po. Rereply din yan. Try mo next week. Ano nilalagay mo sa subject mo? sa akin ang file reference number lang. Feeling ko next week darating na grant mo. MONDAY!!! SANA!!! wag na umabot nang WED kasi wala kanang time. Monday please dispatch pepper's docs DIAC. please!!!
