  • @siena101 try lang try magiging ok din yan. patience lang!
  • @jacjacjac congrats and be prepared for the cold weather here in Melb!
  • Adelaide is the 5th most liveable city in the world last year I think
  • Hi guys, Comment ko lang dun sa mga nagbabalak sa SA SS or dun sa mga nagdadalawang isip for SA SS or dun sa nagco-comment na walang jobs or boring ang SA. Know what you want and your priorities. Priority nyo ba na makapunta ng oz agad? If yes the…
  • @coachella9 usually assets etc is just self declaration. They may or may not ask you to provide evidence so be on the safe side just in case
  • @MissOZdreamer Yes, 489 is a temporary visa. You can convert it tot 887 (PR) once you satisfy the 2 yr stay and at least 1 yr full time job sa regional area. The citizenship rules have changed last april 19, you need to be a PR for at least 4 yrs …
  • @coachella9 you need to create a new EOI and you need to select South Australia as preferred state then once you have the EOI number, you need to go to South Australia state migration website and lodge you SS application thru their system.
  • @batman not sure why 80 points pero kc ung occupation sa supplementary skills list ay not necessarily in demand so baka they want to ensure na high ung score work experience, english etc to compete with the market. Not sure just my opinion
  • @siena101 no worries its up to you. just to clarify, though 489 is a temporary visa, once you satisfy the 2 yr requirement, you can apply for 887 straight away and 887 is like "converting" your 489 to PR. 887 is not subject to any point requiremen…
  • @batman SA has two list of occupations for SS (state nominated occupations and supplementary skills list). Most occupations in STSOL (old CSOL) is available on SA supplementary skills list. Unlike ng ibang states na yung skills list nila for SS ay…
  • @batman yep 80 points. towards the end of financial year ginagwa nilang 85. Marami kc silang occupations compared sa ibang states na willing sponsoran.
  • @siena101 if you dont have any preference about state/location and you want to move to oz quicker, check out SA. They process SS fast. I assume since your occupation is ICT perhaps the minimum is 70 for SA SS.
  • @Hunter_08 wala na bang way for you to get extra 5 points like english test? If you submit your SA SS they will reject it most likely coz 70 is the minimum. what about 489? will you get 70?
  • @Hunter_08 ok. how many points do you have?
  • @Lexi for high points you need to get at least 80 including state sponsorship. see calculation below: 190 = 65+5= 70 489 = 65 +10 = 75
  • @Hunter_08 what do you mean? which occupation? SA posted their new skills list for SS today. Check it out. They have specific point requirements on some occupations like IT. If you nominated occupation is in the supplementary skills list then you …
  • @spyware South Australia has analyst programmer too in their skills list though only visa class 489. They require 70 points including SS. SA process state migration quicker than other states. If your aim is to be oz quicker then explore SA.

  • @spyware i would asssume there are so many applicants for state sponsorship in NSW. Check victoria, analyst programmer is in their skills list.

  • @maiSG03 yep, since you have received an invitation to apply, your application will not be affected by new changes to skills list or SA state skills list. That is why SA made an effort to process all SA state application til june 29 to protect thos…
  • @maiSG03 not sure sa sg pero kc sa embassy dito pwde kumuha ng nbi clearance
  • @maiSG03 no worries! you can request it from your school but I will suggest you should draft the letter to ensure the key words are there (e.g. all, or 100% in english). enjoy Adelaide!
  • @maiSG03 That's so quick 1 day processing! Good news and congrats in advance! Napaka-efficient talaga ng adelaide to process state migration. They did the same nung may changes sa SOL nung April 18, they stayed late that night to process ung applica…
  • @rbl2609 Hi, I am a CPA in Philippines and also a CPA in australia. I don't think you will have any issues with the assessment. There is a new agreement signed last year between PICPA and CPA Australia for CPAs in Philippines. During my time, ther…
  • To get a favourable assessment you need to meet the competency requirement for the nominated occupation. CPAA does not care whether you studied in the top university in PH or some never heard university/college. You may get some credits for your MBA…
  • Hi to all filipino teachers on this forum. Need your inputs re: teacher assessment. I am trying to help my sister to migrate here in oz. Her situation is a bit complicated because its almost 10yrs already when she stopped teaching. I have read the a…
  • @hopeful_mea it depends sa lifestyle nyo at kung how long bago makahanap ng work. Here in oz, common ang temporary/contract or short term jobs and even locals some prefer contract jobs for flexibility. I would suggest na wag mxado picky pagdating sa…

  • @wahidkarlo hey mate, nah! im not a nurse. i heard maraming nurse sa mga hospitals dito sa melbourne. why don't you try and get work sponsorship dito sa oz? Pero mahigpit ata ang oz kc may mga further studies pa ata na required e.
  • if your visa 190 has been granted you are a permanent resident of australia hence, you do not need 457 (work visa) anymore. It is also an advantage on the company sponsoring your 457 if you received your 190 prior coz they will save cost and time. …
  • @wahidkarlo hey mate, i live in Melb pero pinoy ako. I moved here ages ago and i have seen the drastic changes in migration rules over the time. So many kiwis here maybe its time for you to consider living to aus than nz
