@ilovewendyg Yep required ang diploma and TOR. Cert 3 is good to take up dito sa aus kasi in-demand ang aged care nurses, madali makakuwa ng job while u study or after. Yun lang, mabilis ang visa mo, ma expire agad kaya konti oras mo to find an empl…
@myehway I lodged my visa in IDP Makati. I think wala silang office sa Manila. Just Makati & Cebu. They have great staffs in there. I got Daryl as my counsellor, helpful at mabait sya. Tho, lahat naman ng counsellors dun helpful. GTE is not an e…
@patet34 hi. BSN kinukuwa ko sa uni now. Im on 2nd yr na, 1 yr na lang then grad. As for PR, may possibility kaso we need an employer to sponsor us for work visa. Isa yun # of points na required for PR. So most of my friends who are grad na now, ala…
@attila Im on 573, di ako hiningin ng bank statements of my sponsor. Pinagawa lang ako ng statutory declaration. IDP nag process ng visa ko. All went well kahit medyo natagalan dahil sa medical ko. I think 573 SVP doesnt require any financial docume…
@janinlee She is also studying in uni (BN) pero nag start sya sa TAFE (cert 3&4). Ilang beses sya nag aral (student visa) kasi ayaw nya umuwi pag na expire visa. Ang laking gastos. Then for a few months, palagi sya nag e-exceed ng 10-15 hrs per …
@phamelaoh Agree ako kay kuya dan. Walang discrimination dito sa tattoos. I think hindi big deal para sa aussies yun kasi its art for them. Sa work ko, dalawang nurses (one guy and a girl) may big tattoos sila both arms, matagal na sila nag wowork d…
And be mindful of people who knows that we are on temporary visa kasi may nag-dubb minsan. I have one workmate, she's also studying then she exc…
@meechan_rn Undegrad kinuwa ko Subclass 573 svp kasi yun gusto ng relatives ko at para mas maka stay dito for a while. Eligible pa to apply for 2 yrs post-grad visa.
@janinlee Sa univ of newcastle ako. Dito kasi nakatira relatives ko kaya no choice but to stay here to study. Ako ang tagal bago nakakuwa ng work kasi tinapos ko muna 1st yr kasi equiv to cert III then pede na sa nsg home. I think mag IELTS ako kasi…
@meechan_rn Undergrad ako for 3yrs. Meron mas shorter (1-2yrs) sa mga unis sa sydney like ACU- check their websites or search other schools. Try to consult IDP, mas helpful sila in looking for schools.
@janinlee Nope. 2nd yr pa lang ako. Doing BN. So far, okay ang studies since nag nursing din ako sa pinas. The only prob minsan are the essays & research. Pero pag nasanay na, madali na. Im also working as casual AiN. At first, hirap mag hanap n…
@meechan_rn Yep.
Yep, go to a university for better education and training. But it doesnt matter where you graduate here when you apply for work (soo diff from pinas). Even your grades doesnt matter. Most of the employers here wants australian citizens and PR. Like …
@meechan_rn Pwede ka din mag IELTS sa IDP, pero talk to a counsellor first para ma-advise ka which school you can apply and the required ielts band score.
@meechan_rn I advise you to take bachelor in nursing for 2 or 3 yrs depende sa school. Kasi i also have a lot of friends who did bridging na nahirapan to get an employer to sponsor to stay here in aus since ala silang enough time to look, uuwi sila …
@meechan_rn I also recommend IDP. Very reliable at helpful ang counsellors. I love their student expos, try attending if meron, para maka meet ka ng various representatives from heaps of universities.
@xoxo0286 make sure you finished the first 6 mons of the course before shifting to another. Just inform the immig that you will change the course. My friend didnt had prob with this as long as you will inform them.
@jonathanling what course kukunin mo? madali makakuha ng part-time or casual work while studying. pero regarding sa sponsorship, mahirap. it takes a lot of luck to get an employer to sponsor us for working visa. yun ang worry naming mga nursing stud…
@cody I got my letter of offer after 2 months. Minsan kasi natatapat sa busy ang university. Gaya ngayon, exam days and end of semester. Wait for it. Dadating din yan. Good luck.
@patet34 I suggest diretso ka na nang bachelor in nursing kasi mas magastos if mag aged care ka pa. I met Pinays here na nakatapos na nang bridging program, RN na sila pero umuwi sila ulit ng Pinas kasi ang hirap makakuwa ng employer to sponsor for …
@jie1234 I went early before my OSHC started. No problem with that. As long as iwas ka sa accident or any illness kasi ala ka pa insurance, mahal magka sakit. Lol.
@pmm0202 They just ask for the letter of offer or COE. Proof na student ka. Saka the passport. Saka passenger card. Make sure you declare ang foods and other prohibited things na nasa card. Para no hassle.
@ateckmagnaye IDP offers 40kg from Qantas to students. Call them for more info. I took Pal but they only gave ne 21kg although if you want additional kilos, you need to pay.
@ateckmagnaye Last year pa ako nag lodge. After 3 mons, na-grant visa ko. Tumagal sa pag process ng medical ko kasi I declared I have asthma and took chest Xray pero clear naman. Sa Univ. of Newcastle ako.
@santosjed21 Actualy like ko sana ang bridging prog kaso wala ako experience as an RN sa pinas. So not qualified ako. Then di ko naisip yung aged care course kasi 6mons to 1yr lang ang duration. After nun, uuwi ka na ng pinas kasi they dont sponsor …
@ateckmagnaye Me! Di ako ininterview ng DIAC. Pero tumawag sakin ang university and asked me some questions about my relatives, san ako titira and how far ako from the uni. Easy questions lang.
@carolyndmapush It doesnt matter if you have failed subjects sa TOR. As long as you graduated from college or gained registration from PRC.
@santosjed21 This is so true. My friends na nagtapos ng aged care course both cert 3&4 got a job quickly since very in-denand ang AINs dito. However, it's hard to get an employer to sponsor them depende na lang if you're already an RN here. They…
