Hey Everyone! Admin here, It's a bit overdue but I will be migrating our forum site to a new platform for better security. I will take out all the ads as well as these pesky spammers. Please expect a bit of issues here and there, and will slowly move the features to the new one. Don't worry we are very much alive and will be alive as long as I'm here :)
@asdfghjklqwerty Hi. Yap under SVP ako. I waited for 3 months sa visa process. Na refer kasi medicals ko kaya tumagal. Yung iba dito, they got their visa 14 days lang. Depende sa case mo.
@Newleaf2014 If under SVP, no need to show proof of funds. Just declare this statement in a paper notarised by Justice of the Peace or Notary Public. This is what IDP told me to do:
"I, (your name), declare that I have access to funds from an accep…
@shanedc08 It depends on CO. Yung iba dito that is under SVP, they got their visa 14 days after. Some, like me, got visa approval 3 months after lodgement. It's case to case basis.
@asdfghjklqwerty No need to show proof of funds. Just make a statutory declaration that you have sufficient funds to study in Australia. Ipapa notarised mo yun. IDP helped me w/ all the requirements. Try to call them.
@aa777 I just wrote na gusto ko lang mag-aral ng bachelor degree or just to enhance my knowledge in another country. I didn't wrote anything about getting a job because IDP told me na ang focus dapat ay studies. Just tell them that kahit ang totoong…
@danyan2001us This is very true. Many of my friends na nag bridging course told me na hindi na daw nag ssponsor ang hospitals or nursing homes here. So most of them, go home sa Pinas. Yung mga nag Aged care course for 1 year, since tapos na visa nil…
@push Get an Aged Care course here in Australia. Ang daming nursing homes ang naghahanap ng nurses. Pati din hospitals. Very in-demand ang nursing career especially in NSW. But most of time, competitive so need to study hard to get good grades.
@xplicitnx I'm not sure about what you said that they consider caregiver training in Pinas kasi what I hear from my friends and the senior nurses here, aged care homes and hospitals do not consider any training from back home. They still require you…
Im not sure if qualified. Kasi most of the caregivers and nurses here studied in an Australian TAFE or university to have a certificate or registration to work.
I suggest take an Aged care course in Aus for 6mons to 1yr. Many of my friends started w/ this course and they're now working here. This is another visa- student 572. Then my friends decided to take another course w/c is Bachelor in Nursing so that …
@janinlee No need for PDOS because temporary lang naman tayo as student. Para sa mga migrants lang yun. I dunno if other students here had PDOS. Sabi ng IDP, hindi na kelangan.
@SolemateD Hi there! You can bring all your immunization record pagpunta mo dito sa OZ. Kaso you still need to take the adult doses for clinical placement. Ako kasi nag iipon pa ng pera for these. Dito nako sa university clinic magpapa immunize kasi…
@innev Newcastle is very quiet and peaceful unlike Sydney na crowded. Here, walang traffic, konti lang tao at not polluted. Madami din part-time jobs kaso very competitive since madaming international and local students na nag aapply. Let me know if…
Walang problem sa mga nurses here in OZ. They really need nurses in Aged care or nursing homes. It's not difficult to find work here. Kaya I encourage pinoy nurses to apply for work visa or do bridging/ bachelor/ conversion courses.
@sorbetesatpatatas Overall band score 7.0 All subtests 7.0 dapat. Mag IELTS ka na lang dyan kasi mahal mag ELICOS. Just focus and review. Kaya natin to.
@sorbetesatpatatas Hi. I'm already here in OZ doing ELICOS. AUD3600 for 10 weeks ang fee. Twice ako nag IELTS kaso di ko nakuwa ang required band score. That's y I do ELICOS before B Nursing. Pero need pa din mag IELTS before graduating in BN for AP…
I was disappointed when I passed my TOR to the Uni here in OZ. They only credited 10 units which is equivalent to 2 subjects. I graduated from Centro Escolar Uni Manila- BSNursing. I dunno if CEU is level 1 or 2.
Hi guys! It's been a long time since nag post ako here. This forum is a big help for me when I was lodging my visa. I'm already here in Australia, 4 months na. I'm now studying English course for 10 weeks here in University of Newcastle. Then this F…
