@marialobsan If you're at the optimum age (25-32 years old), have at least Proficient English, positive skills assessment (PH degree assessed to at least AU Bachelor's degree equivalent), and state nomination (if your occupation is in the skill shor…
@marialobsan I wouldn't say na "mas madali" siya than applying directly to working visa, pero kung kulang or gusto mo madagdagan yung points mo, makakatulong yung Australian study sa skilled visa application (+5 points din kasi). Pero downside nga n…
@marialobsan Hi. If you're planning to apply for student visa, I don't think work experience is necessary for application (unless it's required for your program/course in AU). Yung "chance" of getting approved for a student really depends on how you…
@OZingwithOZomeness Thank you for the detailed explanation! I know the feeling din when it comes to waiting for visa grant (although student visa).
@ChefMa I think what @batman means is that you can clearly explain why you want to study Cookery when your background is Accounting. The two are very different in terms of skills and knowledge required. If you can make a good case to explain the car…
@mookiet2p you have to verify with the school if OBS (overall band score) lang yung 5.5 or for every skill. OBS is calculated to be the average of your scores in the four skills (it's possible to get 5.5 OBS with 4.5, 4.5, 6.5, 6.5 for LRWS).
Marami pong klase ng skilled visas, with the most popular being 189 (independent), 190 (state-sponsored), and 489 (provisional) visas.
Comp…
@OZingwithOZomeness @ssendood ah oki, gets ko na. I would've thought na bakasyon din talaga sila pag pasko like sa Pinas, d rin pala hehe. btw, do you know how they define cases as "backlog?"
So far puro 190 visa applications ang naggrant... mas mabilis pala talaga pag 190 than 189? I read something sa forum na higher priority ang 190 than 189; ibig sabihin po ba nun ipprocess muna ng mga CO yung 190 bago 189? And ano ang typical scenari…
@Graff I think hindi naman magiging problem yun, pero d ko alam kung kailangan maglodge ng bagong student visa application or kung paano ipapa-update yung eCoE mo sa visa application (after you've lodged it). If i were you, i'd rather go for July 20…
@Graff if you really intend to finish your work contract, it's better to apply for your student visa for July 2019 intake. Your student visa validity is based on your eCoE, so I'm not sure if you need to request DIBP to update your student visa vali…
@kaidenMVH iniisip ko sana i-claim yung 5 years, pero kung 4 years lng ang macclaim ko because of that one "rookie" year, sayang yung 5 points. i wonder kung pwede ko kaya ma-compensate yun by working part-time sa Australia while student visa?
@kaidenMVH ay hala, then hindi ako makakaclaim ng 5 years overseas work experience kung ibabawas nila yung 1 year sakto 5 years po kasi ang work experience ko (2 years sa pinas, then 3 years sa taiwan)
@mufasaa Hi, I'm referring to why you shifted from Nursing to English major. And do you mean your current choice of pursuing Nursing is because you will be sponsored? I'm asking about your reason why you shifted from Nursing to English because if yo…
If I may ask, what made you decide to shift to an English major instead of finishing Nursing?
I think most education agents will make suggestions based on the undergrad degrees you've completed to ensure that you do get the student visa. If you in…
@fruitys I initially planned to apply to AACA (for 189 visa), but recently decided to go for VETASSESS (190 visa) nalang.
@RheaMARN1171933 Ah I s…
@Amie2018here I don't think universities have access to immigration information aside from VEVO (if visa was granted); only DIBP (immigration) can see his prior visa applications.
Since school yung nagreject ng application nya, focus muna kayo na …
@Amie2018here Wala nman pong age limit pagdating sa vocational or degree studies so ok lng po yun. But typically for retraining or shifting courses mga 1-2 ye…
@Amie2018here no I don't think the age should matter, nor yung inclusion ng wife and child sa application.
May sample…
@Amie2018here can you define "not pricey" school? pag tafe schools po ang alam ko nasa AUD 7k per sem, and yung length of study depende kung diploma or advanced diploma in hospitality management ang kukunin (2-2.5 years). Yung commercial cookery typ…
@Amie2018here hi, sa visa application ba sya nareject or sa school application? Baka po hindi nya masyado ma-explain nang malinaw yung career goal nya and value ng master's degree for him. ano po ba yung feedback sa kanya regarding sa application ny…
@marann99 hi. If prereq yung certificate, inquire ka sa school kung pwede nakapackage yung certificate and diploma (bale diploma course lng aaplyan mo tapos inclusive na yung certificate). Pero kung 6 months lng yung cert then 1 year yung diploma, k…
@RheaMARN1171933 ah I see.
