@anastasia.salvador yung isang COE ko is ganyan din walang salary and working hours, nag pasa nalang ako ng payslip para sa salary. Wala din ako pinasa na details regarding sa working hours ko. Yung secondary documents na pinasa ko is Form 2316 and SSS.

My husband is an Electrical Engineering graduate in Mapua. Hindi nya na practice yung course nya since pinag manage sya ng conventional poultry farm ng parents nya. Though part ng job nya sa paoultry ay to maintain yung electrical wires and all. Possible ba na makapag pa assess kami sa EA? Gusto ko sana mag claim ng 5 points nya and we're preparing for the Nov. 16, 2019 points computation amendment.

Hi meron po ba ditong 312511 Mechanical Engineering Drafsperson na nagpa assessed before, ask ko lang po kung mg rerequire pa sila ng PRC lisence. Mechanical Engineering graduate po sya pero di nakapasa sa board exam... Thank you po in advance

Hello po, ask ko lang po, meron po kasi akong total of 4years work experience, pero po 2 years in production/manufacturing and 2 years in Procurement. Makakuha po ba ako ng 5 points sa work experience or dapat po same industry para po makuha ung 3 years na points po. Thank you po

Hello po. Magtatanong lang po sana. Totoo po ba na hindi kailangan ng working experience ang Engineering graduate sa Pinas kapag magpapaassess po sa EA? (Section 3) Currently in Sydney po kami ni husband. And nagtanong po kami sa isang migration agent dito dahil applying po kami soon for 485 visa. And mga para po sana sa future points for PR application. Naconfused lang po kami sa inadvised na hindi naman daw need ng experience as long as 5 year course. Any insights po regarding dito? TIA

@VirGlySyl thankyou po sa reply. wala po kasi ako idea sa EA Assessment and sec 3 po ang school ko, not licensed but with 2years telco exp po sa Pinas. Hindi ko po alam yung magiging process. Inadvised lang po kami ng migration agent for chances since si husband po ay graduating na dito sa AUS. for extra points din po siguro. No idea po how to start. thankyou

Good day, sorry a bit off topic but I just want to seek advice from engineers about lodging EOI. Is it better to lodge it before the new points system in November or after? Thank you.

The amendments introduce a revised points system for the subclass 491 visa as well as
existing General Skilled Migration visas. Points are awarded for attributes that are linked
with the applicant’s ability to make the greatest economic contribution, as the key purpose of
the skilled migration program is to maximise the economic benefits of migration to Australia.
The changes to the points test are to introduce:
 more points for having a skilled spouse or de facto partner (10 points);
 more points for applicants nominated by a State or Territory government or
sponsored by a family member residing in regional Australia (15 points);
 more points for having certain STEM qualifications (10 points);
 points for applicants who do not have a spouse or de facto partner (10 points); and
 points for applicants with a spouse or de facto partner who has competent English (5
points).

Hello po ask ko lang po, sa CDR po ba ung mga project base is long term ung mga months po ginawa or okay lang po ba ung kahit one week lang po pero napakita po ung knowledge about engineering? Salamat po

@leij31 it doesnt matter how long. ang importante maipakita mo kay EA how you managed to implement your project according to engineering principles.

Hi po is 2 years enough experience para ma assess ng EA?

1 year - Project Enginer (Can only acquire Generic COE from Manpower Agency, can I ask for a Stat Dec from my Supervisor? If yes, it should be notarized right?)
1 year - Maintenance Engineer (Can only acquire Generic COE, same as above)

2 years experience lang po ako sa Philippines.

As of now po I'm working as an engineer for an Australian company but I just started last March, can I use my experience here sa CDR ko?

Hello! Can anyone confirm if statutory declarations are still accepted in lieu of certificates with company letterhead? Upon checking the MSA Guidebooks, I noticed that this option has already been omitted since the Mar 2018 version.

For visa 189 application

For overseas skilled employment experience, I'm afraid you need at least 3 years to get 5 points. For your Australian work experience, you should have at least 1 year to also get 5 points.

@robinsyreyes my employer offered to sponsor me for my visa, I can apply for 186 right? Do I still need 3 years minimum experience to be assessed by Engineers Australia? Contacted my previous employers only 1 responded and will give me a detailed COE, would that be enough for me to be assessed by EA? Thank you very much!

Hi all.. wala na po ba talaga naiinvite sa 189 na 65pts? From the recent news kasi 80pts na.. so sa mga recently na lodge na 65pts. ndi na po ba talaga naiinvite?

@wellac based from recent invitation rounds, as far as a I know, walang 65 (mga kapatid correct me if I an wrong here). ang last yata na nainvite e yung may DOE pa na matagal na (di ako sure). Depende din yan sa nominated occupation - if mataas masyado ang mga points ng nag aapply - mas mauna silang mainvite. continue to explore other options para mapataas ang points and makakuha ng invite.
