Nov 16 2019 Points Change

Hello po.
I have lodge my EOI for 189 last Nov 2018 and got only 70 points; included na ung 5 points for my skilled wife.
Now comes the Nov 16 change and expected to be added by 10 points from here:

Pro I checked in SkillSelect, 5 points lang na.add =(

Parang hindi na.add na separate ung competent English

Does anyone have the same experience? Thanks po

Isa lang po sa kanila yung pipiliin mo.

If your partner has positive skills assessment at competent english +10 [OR]
if your partner does not have the skills assessment pero meron syang competent english +5 [OR]
If Single ka +10

• Tama lang ang computation to 75 points as what others confirmed as well.
  Take it as previously, skilled partner (which involves both positive skills assessment and language test) = 5
  For Nov 16 = the same category is now equal to 10 points, kaya from previously 65 to 70 to 75, tama lang.

An applicant cannot expect na yung partner skills at language e 2 separate points, meaning a total of 15points, kasi that will be redundant - pero we understand yung confusion sa side mo, this topic was actually discussed here a few months back kasi nga medyo nakakalito sya and to set expectations straight na din para if in case your points is still not sufficient after Nov 16 points changes, e the applicant can still search for other ways to increase points to guarantee an ITA.
