Good day po sa inyong lahat. Magtatanong lang po ako regarding defacto relationship. I am married but with ongoing annulment case. Now I have partner and we are planning to take chances in Australia. I'm a Perioperative Nurse and he's a OSH Advisor. Both our professions are included in the SOL. We are planning that he will be the main applicant for student visa and I will be his student visa-dependent. Kung ireregister po namin ang relationship namin as defacto relationship, ano ano po ba ang mga requirements na kailangan. Kasi nagkakilala lang kame at naging couple last 2019, we are both here in Saudi Arabia so there's no way para maglive in kame dahil hindi kami kasal. No travel pictures yet because we got stuck here because of covid but planning to go home in the Philippines on April 2021. Planning to open joint bank account also. Kelan po ba ang ideal na magapply yung partner ko for student visa kung limited pa lang yung mga proof namin. Thanks

i think unique ang case nyo as de facto, having an agent may help on proving your genuine relationship plus i am not sure if the ongoing annulment is an issue.
i believe best time to apply student visa is after pandemic, when vaccine is almost available for all.
dito kasi nagsisimula pa lang ang ng trial procedure ng pag allow ng pagbabalik ng mga international students who were outside AU during border closures. unless may vaccine na, this may take some time for NEW student visa holders to be allowed to come here.

Hello
Not sure if i can help, pero nag apply kami ng bf ko permanent visa at naapprove naman. Same situation na nasa middle east kaya di pwede maglive in. Pero 2013 pa kami magBF GF. Dineclare namin sa statement namin na na hindi pwede maglive in kasi nasa middle east kami. Kaya nagsubmit din kami ng photos na lagi kami nagvvideo call, remittances in our joint account, statements from our qatar friends na may commitment kami, etc. Siyempre case to case basis din siguro at kung gaano kahigpit ang case officer mo. DIY kami from bridging program hanggang PR. All the glory and praises to God Almighty. 😊

interesting case. based from what i've read:- if a person is legally married they can still be considered to be in a de facto relationship with another person they are not married to. so imo walang kaso yung may ongoing annulment case. however, proving your current defacto relationship will be a tricky one lalo na if you don't have photos, joint accounts, etc.
maybe it's better to delay your application so you can have more time to collect proof of your relationship. besides, at our current situation, pahirapan pa ang makapasok sa au dahil sa pandemic.
