Health Clearance OKd but dependent HC deferred

Gusto ko lang magtanong sa mga veterans dito kung meron na kayo na encounter same sa aking case.
My health clearance is already OK according to Manila DIAC, they said they are waiting for my wifes health clearance which was deferred for MOC assessment. If my visa will be denied, does the CO have to wait for my wife's HC to tell me na denied? Assuming that the reason for the denied VISA is not my wife's health but instead they find me as not being a genuine temporary entrant. Will they tell me even if my wife's health clearance is with the MOC yet? Or will the CO wait until the HC is recieved on the CO's side?

    @KG2 hi hehe! nagresearch na din ako about this kc naiinip din ako at naiinis iniisip ko dn kung d ako nagpass sa criteria nila eh just say it!!ahaha! pro yuh unfortunately the medicals have to be finalised before any kind of decision can be made :( may nakita ako she waited a month for her medicals only to find out na d sya na grant..but think positive makukuha mo din c grant hehe any updates sa medicals ni wife?nagemail na po ba kayo?

    Subclass 573 (SVP) commencement date Aug 12
    May 21 - lodged visa application
    May 23 - DIAC acknowledged application
    May 31 - Medicals NHSI
    June 4 - NHSI submitted results
    June 10 - Medicals referred to MOC June 4
    June 25 - was informed we needed addtl tests for hubby
    June 28 - hubby's meds uploaded and referred to HOC AUSTRALIA
    June 23 - received email from DIAC stating "we have recently received your husbands medical clearance".
    Aug 1 - request form 815 health undertaking passed it on the same day :)
    Aug 5 - emailed diac that i have to be able to attend uni on the 12th otherwise i would need to defer my course.
    Aug 6 - they might have read my email and issued a grant at 2pm
    Aug 7 - received sms that they have dispatched documents thru courier

    @maliboo sir ano po timeline niyo? waiting pa daw ang CO sa medicals ni misis. last time i emailed was 1 week ago(sa dfat na email add). yesterday i emailed health.strategies pero wala pang reply sir. ilang 14 days na ang nagdaan. wala pa ring update.

    hindi kaya depende yan sa Region? i.e. mabagal ang ibang state COs sa pag papa usad ng applicant kesa ibang states?

    May 22- Lodged via IDP
    May 23- DIAC Acknowledged application
    May 27- Request for medicals
    May 31- Medical Exam
    June 4 - NHSI forwarded results no addtl tests required
    June 10- emailed DIAC regarding application, medicals referred June 4

    Kaya nga eh sobrang tagal :( mga 3wks nlng before intake nyo po ano?nagbasa ako dito may isa mlapit na ata intake nya naprioritize ung meds nya bago lng. dont worry bka feeling ko by end of june meron na kayo.inuuna dw kc ung mgcocommence na. khit ako naiinip na syempre ung fund mo nsa school na tpos 4 wks bgo mo marefund just in case. anyway, feeling ko po time na pra mangulit kau haha! ay ms. po ako hndi sir hehe. natry nyo na b tumawag sa global health pra iask kung anong date na ang pnprocess?

    @maliboo sorry ma'am.hehe.turuan kita pano mg lagay sa sig. Copy mo ang timeline mo sa taas. Tapos punta ka sa profile mo by clicking your name or goto http://pinoyau.info/profile/maliboo . Sa left side click mo yung signature settings tsaka paste mo sa popup at save.
    Opo mam 3 wks nalang. Siguro nxt week kukulitin ko na.hindi pa ako nakatawag.pero tried emailing sa embassy. 8 weeks daw ang waiting since date of referral to moc bago mabigyan ng decision. Hopefully by june 3 meron na since may 3 na refer ang medical ni misis. Nag email na ako sa global health nung monday evening. Wala pang reply hanggang ngayon. What a bummer...:'(

    Si @JACQU3 mam meron nang grant and guess what. June 25 ang intake niya. pero at least approved na siya. hehehe. nakakaloka lang kasi 5 days nalang.

    @KG2 hala grabe nman cla kung tlgng pgiintayin ka ng 8 wks lol!kung 8 wks ung sken hndi na ako aabot sa orientation ko!tsk nkakainis nman kala ko pa nmn SVP kya 2 mos lng ang inallot ko na time. anyway, feeling ko nmn eh may decision n ung sau bka pgkafinalise eh grant agad sa sobrangg tagal ng papers mo sa diac haha!ah tlga?ano ba timeline ni JACQUE mtagal din po ba?

    @maliboo yup, meron din si @Rhina13, Melbourne and student visa siya. 3 months na daw ang ang wait niya. Naawa na ako sa sarili ko at sa kanya. :) Heto po ang timeline ni JACQU3, mas nauna nga siya sa paglodge. Hopefully next week darating din. Sa trend ng grants ngayon napapaisip ako na malaki chance natin. Pero minsan sa tagal din nang datingan nang grants eh parang nawawalan din ako ng gana. Haha


    Heres the email from DIAC
    Please note that the medical results of your wife have been referred to the
    Health Operation Centre in Australia for review by a Medical officer of the
    Commonwealth, last 03 May 2013. Due to current backlogs with the Health
    Operations Centre deferred medicals are taking approximately 8 weeks (from
    date of referral) for a decision to be made.

    Please note that immigration health criteria is a public interest criteria
    that applies to this visa application and so this is the reason why this
    visa application cannot be finalised until an immigration health assessment
    outcome has been received by this office.

    @KG2 exage nman cla 3 mos,worried ako kc ayoko madefer and ayoko na magintay ng masmatagal pa.usually wla nman nadedefer so hopefully mgng ok. hndi nman cguro gnun nuh?c franz nga naprioritize eh.dba?pro bkt prng sya may CO n sya nun..weird..anyway,buti ka pa ung email sau eh detailed sken sbe lng narefer sya and rest assured your CO will contact you once updates are received. d ko tuloy alam kng meron na akong CO haha...bka Friday ka na sir magrant!or kng hindi sakto july 3 hehe aabangan ko ang timeline mo :)

    wala pong CO si franz mam AFAIK. and opo mam na priortize siya of her persistence and pagpupursigi sa DIAC Manila
    pag na refer ang medicals mo sa MOC, same din yun sa deferred ata. If hindi na punta sa MOC madali lang mam.
    Si @Nutellagirl nga mam hindi umabot ng 15 days from medicals to grant(No MOC referral)

    Nasa section 9 and 14 nang FAQs. Please read if hindi niyo pa nabasa. Also read niyo po link #3 sa signature ko. makakatulong din sa pag ease ng anxiety levels niyo yan mam. hehe
