Local AU police check on first entry

Hi everyone, I started the job hunting process and one of the requirements I encounter is the local police check. NSW ito. I saw on the official site that one must be a NSW resident to get the clearance, but I don’t have the means yet to move lang without first securing a job.

So I’m looking to do a first entry muna. Anyone know if you can get a police check while on a temporary visit? Need ba may residential address na? Thank you.

There is a checklist of required documents to apply. Mukang pwede naman ang foreign government issued evidence.

Thank you, I read those nga. One recruiter said na I would need to be onshore and the website says one must be residing in NSW — so that part wasn’t clear to me, if needed ba ang residential address or a temporary accommodation or even just a 190 NSW visa was fine.

Hope someone’s done it before pero yeah, try ko na lang din i-ask Service NSW directly.

Question rin about this, kasi one of the requirements (at least for SA) ay magprovide ng document with current address. I dont have any statements yet na dun sa titirhan ko nakaaddress. Iba yun address na ginamit ko for bank, tfn at medicare kasi. Would you know if the address na nasa bank or telco apps will be accepted? Yun titirhan ko naman doesnt have rent contract. TIA!
