Travelling with a Single Parent

Hi guys patulong naman po, me and wife is planning to bring back kids from Oz after two weeks of Initial Entry date namin para lang ma-activate Visa. Do we need to prepare a formal letter addressed to both Immigration on Aus and Pinas since kids will be travelling with a single parent?
