    Ayos @SAP_Consultant, thanks sa insights bro. Additionally, napansin ko dn pala yung stat dec ko last 2017 is nka include doon yung old passport number ko, nakalagay dun sa stat dec document mismo ay "I attest the job role of this person with passport number XXXXXXXX ....." pero since old na docs na yun at may record sila ng old passport number ko, which is irremovable kapag nagpa reassess ako ngayon I think di nman siguro magiging big deal na nagpalit na ako ng passport number at pde ko pa din gamitin yung old stat dec na yun, since passport number ko lang nman nabago at hndi yung name or some important info. Hehe.

    Hello. I'm posting this on behalf of my husband who is applying for 263111.

    Yung reference letter po ba, dapat signed by HR Manager or direct supervisor ng asawa ko? Sa ACS guideline kasi nakasulat lang na authorized person.

    Also, my husband is currently working in Riyadh for more than 4 years as Network System Engineer (263111 related). His school is under Section 1.

    But he also have previous working experience in PH but not related to 263111. Kelangan pa din ba ng asawa ko magsubmit ng COE and Reference Letter to ACS kahit na hindi sya magcclaim ng experience sa previous work nya?

    Another question po, tinatawagan po ba talaga nila yung nasa reference letter?
    Ang concern kasi ng asawa ko if yung HR manager ang pumirma at ilagay sa reference letter, baka daw hindi masagot at majustify yung job description na nakasulat sa Reference Letter.

    So does it mean kelangan yung reference letter is not too technical considering HR ang nagsigned hindi yung technical manager?

    hi po. what you need I believe is employment reference, iba po cya sa normal coe. it has to contain the detailed job desc nya. tapos either HR or someone na nagsupervise ng work nya kasi possible po i verify ng ACS un. pero regarding the content hindi po ako familiar with network. since section 1 cya maganda ang chance nya to get higher points for educ. I dont want to sound like selling , but just incase lang na you plan to get a registered Migration Agent I can recommend someone. Nakakahinayang kasi sayng ung maging nega ang outcome sa ACS.

    You only submit the relevant work experience and either HR or supervisor can sign but make sure the letters comply to the ACS requirements. Good luck!

    I would like to ask for opinion sana. My husband and I are both software testers in Philippines for more than 5 years and magpapaassess sana kami sa ACS this december. We have certification from our previous company with details of when we joined the company and when we left. We also have 2316 from that company. Pwede din po kaming magrequest for bank statements and payslips to support our evidence. Kaso may nababasa po akong reference letter na signed ng HR or manager? pwede po kayang yung certification nalang ang isubmit namin? Thank you so much po sa mga sasagot!

    @neanjavier That’s correct HR or direct supervisor can sign. Skills assessment is the make or break. Make sure you get this right as it will set the rest of you visa application process

    Pasensya na nahuli ng reply. Yes you need to explain why in case statutory declaration lang yung sinubmit mong employment reference. In my case, nakakuha ako sa HR ng explanation certificate stating na hindi talaga nagbibigay si company ng job descriptions to third party as per policy and confidentiality. So apart from certificate from HR gumawa nalang din ako ng statutory declaration ko explaining na hindi ko napansin ito sa new guidelines at yung process kung paano ko nakuha yung HR certificate - hopefully to establish the point why hindi ko naprovide agad yun sa initial application palang.

    @neanjavier Aside from the job title, it should contain the job description as well. The JD is very very very important as it will justify that your skill set match with the position you are applying for. Also, don't forget to indicate your hired date and last date of employment.

    Try reviewing ung mga job description ng mga network related. need mo i tailor , i mean highlight ung job scope mo sa description ng ANZCO. For sure mag fafall yan sa isa.

    FYI, my wife and I submitted requirements for ACS Skills Assessment. As per note we received, 8-10 weeks ang application process. Not sure if same as before but I remembered meron nag comment na maximum of 5 weeks lang dati.

    Just an update po, after I submitted the explanation letter last thursday Nov21 (why I only submitted statutory declarations in the initial application) I finally got the positive result today Nov25.

    So my view is that you can really get the result as early as 4weeks.
    Oct15 - Submitted ACS application
    Nov13 - CO requested missing document (Explanation Letter)
    Nov21 - Submitted Explanation Letter + Statutory Declaration
    Nov25 - Result Letter (AQF Bachelor Degree, -4yrs from exp)

    Just a heads up sa lahat, kung kaya nyong makapag pasa agad - agad sa ACS ng docs nyo for assessment, gawin na habang maaga. Mas lalong tumatagal ang estimation nila to finalize decision sa ipapa assess nyo, 10 - 12 weeks na as of the writing. Siguro effect din ito ng additional requirements na hinihingi nila like payment evidences, COE of declarant kung stat dec, etc.

    @ykseihpos importante na lahat ng description sa job desc ng anzsco e eksakto sa ginagawa mo sa trabaho mo. kung hindi match, hanap ka ng ibang Occupation and check mo panu ko mafifit ung work mo sa JD sa occupation ng Anzsco. need mo I highlight na ang ginagawa mo e match talaga para ma assess ka na positive. pag naglagay ka mg iba n hindi match alam mo na siguro mangyayari d b? hehehe.

    Dba ang COE contains your job description already. What if your resume has the same content as of your CoE? Kung baga, parang ung resume mo ay consolidation lang ng coe mo (employers, job title and job description)? Will that be acceptable?

    One reason I could see here is if they compare your coe per company dun sa resume mo, tapos hindi naman matched ung wordings (kahit sabihin na natin paraphrased), baka hindi nila tanggapin?

    Or, pag nakita nilang pareho lang ang resume mo sa mga coe mo, baka isipin nila copy-paste lang?

    Which is better? Salamat sa sasagot :)

    I presume by COE, your company issued you an employment reference with company letterhead and not stat decs? I would paraphrase as much as possible at papahabain ko ng kaunti yung sa resume to give more context sa role (assuming limited lang ang nilagay ni company sa COE).

    In my case, one company lang ako at hindi nagbibigay ng COE with detailed roles kaya 3 stat decs ang sinubmit ko. Definitely mas may impact yung nasa stat decs compared sa content ng resume (correct me po if im wrong) since stat decs are supposed to be written by our superiors as legal document. (since technically ako din ang naglayout ng stat decs syempre iniba ko ng kaunti ng sequence and added more details sa resume para hindi naman masabi ni CO na copy paste. ) :)

    hello po, regarding po sa sinabi ni @Supersaiyan na 10 to 12 weeks yung sa ACS assessment. baka po umpisahan ko na din magreapply since March 2020 yung expiration ng akin. bale po kasi sakin, pag nagnew application ako na technically parang renewal lang, ang nadagdag lang po dun additional 2yrs experience pa pero same company (nung isa sa inassessed nila sakin before) at nagresign ako nung May 2019. possible po kayang hanapan pa ako ng mga bagong requirements if yun lang po nadagdag sakin?

Well, except for the company description, etc. Just the plain JD lang.

    I guess you're familiar sa mga job portals like jobstreet or jobsdb. Ganun lang format, bulleted sentences.

    @jaznimbo, that's good for you na you have the liberty to write anything. then they signed it with company letterhead? That's even better than providing stat decs IMO. I believe hindi issue sa CO na same content yung COE mo with resume but just to address my anxiety na pagdudahan yung JD/COE vs resume na same na same I would paraphrase ng kaunti and include accomplishments/highlights of my career. haha.. I don't think magfofocus si CO sa resume content but we never know, just to avoid further questioning that might affect the result. All the best!

    I agree. It’s normal for us to even get results in 2 weeks.

    As far as I know, in my practice of 8 years in this profession, they’ve always given 10-12 weeks timeline. There’s nothing new about this information.

    That’s what they provide as timeline but normally a decision is ready sooner.
