Wala naman talagang sikreto diba -- the application process is very straightforward: tignan mo yung checklist ng requirements nila, basta uploaded lahat ng supporting documents - including medical and all police clearances - malamang direct grant yan.

Hello. I have 6.5 kasi sa writing. Ska ganu kabilis ma-grant ang visa? anu ba ang passing mark if you are applying for a general PR?

I think the question has been pretty much answered - just make sure you've uploaded (frontloaded) all the required docs, and you'll get a direct grant. Again, there really is no secret! And that's what I like about the Australian immigration process - it is very straightforward, transparent, and is simply a matter of ticking boxes on your own "checklist". That "checklist" depends on your situation (single, married, defacto, kids, years of experience, nominated occupation, health, police clearances required, etc.)

@cholle medyo subjective kasi when you say, "all required docs".

Form 80 for instance is a document not being required to everyone. While there are cases wherein yun na lang ang document, which prevented a "direct grant", so to speak.

Would it be prudent to say, lets frontload Form 80?

@wizardofOz Totally agree with "less is more"; in fact, I posted some time ago na wag sobra-sobra ang i-upload because some people here on the forum were thinking of frontloading unnecessary docs thinking it'll speed up the process, but I really don't think it helps.

But you can anticipate. The Form 80 is something that I think is usually requested from maybe 4 out of 5 Filipino applicants (maybe because Ph is a high risk country), so I don't think including it in your docs would be considered excessive and it would be reasonable to think it might be requested. How hard can it be to fill out the Form 80 anyway?

@cholle to some Form 80 is a bit complicated, especially if you lived or worked in different countries since you were young

I don't think you need to fill-up form 80 to the very detailed and its really a big deal unless you want to intentionally hide something or may possible issues (e.g. committed crimes somewhere else, just went from africa in last 6 months EBOLA scare).

For work travels i get my two passports (old and new) dami din tatak un then use excel spreadsheet.

Well unless talaga meron kang intentional place/travels na ayaw mo idisclose then its a different story. so kung isasama mo form 80 to front load, mas malaki chance direct grant kasi parang optional naman to sa part ng CO.

@wizardofOz Same boat - both fiance and I lived in several places, worked in different countries abroad before moving to Au, flied a lot. It wasn't a problem for us really. It's not that hard.

Going back to your original question, I still say walang sikreto :)

Habang naggawa nga ako ng form 80, ang thinking whether i need to disclosed other places /addresses if anong possible way ng CO na ma verify un and whether magaksaya pa sya ng time to check it. Yung mga nsa passport, may written trail so no choice sinama ko nalang lahat. Pero using excel spreadsheet can make your life easier kahit gaano ka karaming tatak yan.

@wizardofOz I think nasabi naman na for the most part yung mga dapat mong gawin, i.e., submitting complete and accurate supporting documents to solidify your background in claiming for the points you need to get a visa.

Personally, I think it's a matter of quality over quantity as far as supporting documents go. It still boils down to the completeness and accuracy of your supporting documents. Also, make sure you understand what the requirements are para maibigay mo yung hinahanap nila, kasi kung mali lang din ang ibibigay mo, it won't help you at baka di ka pa makakuha ng visa.

Also, keep in mind that while there may be some things that are out of your control (speed of assessment process, grant decisions, etc.), try to put yourself in the best position that you can possibly can to get a visa. Work on the things you can control and pray for the things that are out of your control.

    I hope that helps. :)

it's a combination of complete documents, dami ng load ng CO, work disposition ng CO.
