Help about 1 year offer from ECU

yhuan22yhuan22 BrisbanePosts: 34Member
edited January 2016 in Study and Training Visa
Question lang po, 1 year lang offer ng ECU sakin, prefer ko sna 2 years para makuha ko ung 15 points sa education requirements pag ngapply nko ng PR after, any other options?

Or mali ba intindi ko dun s part ng PR application about education requirements? Bsta ba bachelor's degree kana s pinas automatic 15points na ba agad un or dpat mkacomplete ng 2years study tlaga sa au para makuha ung points na yun? Slamat s mga sasagot..

i think counted ung 15 points either from 4-year bachelor degree sa pinas OR 1 year bachelor degree in oz. mkpag addittional ka lng ng another 5 points if you do a 2-year study in oz. additional 5 points if you do it in a regional area (ECU Bunbury in the case of ECU).

Thanks s answers po, medyo concern lng ako dun din kc nasa section 3 ung school ko i dont know what it means though, kung nde ko b mkukuha ung 15 points tlaga or maoverride un ng 1 year au studies ko.

saka pag 1 year lng kc nde ako eligible for temp grad na 485 kc required na 2 years study sya. d ako sure kung ilang months ako mgstay after ng studies eh.

hi. school section is just one of the factors considered to assess your bachelor's degree. so, although your school is in section 2 or 3, you may still get equivalency depending on other factors (volume of learning, requirements for graduation, etc).

also note that the AQF has been changed, so i think may implication ito sa equivalency. if you're taking a bachelor's degree in australia for just a year @yhuan22 , you will get a full bachelor's degree assessment for your qualification, thus potentially get 15 points for qualification.

    Gday!

Actually kktwag ko lng s IDP SG kanina, i asked kung s 1 year b n bngay sakin pwede ako dumiretso ng apply ng PR or temp grad visa, sbi nung agent nde daw dpat 2 years, so ngrequest ako n palitan ung offer ng 2 years, ngrant nmn n school kso sayang ung tuition hehe pero okay lng bsta after nun pwede n mgPR or temp grad visa, kesa isipin ko p ggwin ko after 1 year tnggapin ko nlng ung offer ng ganun.. San kb school? Kung naofferan k ng 1 year req m nlng n iextend ng 2 years usually igrant nmn nila kc pabor nmn s s knila ata yun..

@markjohn @yhuan22 for din ang advantage ng 1 year is mging RN kna in 1 year (provided na comply lahat reqs for AHPRA) and you get to work as an RN and ng start na count ung Australian RN experience. kasi ung mga AIN or carer jobs during school, di ksi un counted sa experience. just my 2 cents. and 2 years is too expensive. but jan papasok ung og weigh ng pros and cons kung san prefer nyo.

yan din concern ko mark, msyado maikli 1 year to plan everything, unless sobrang swerte tlaga n may mgsponsor, madugo lng tuition fees tlaga, pero there's no easy way out tlaga ehh.. san kb if ever?
