    @pepper , happy birthday to you, i hope that you will still be able to pursue your application. I do have a question, if my uncle is in the states (California) and he would show proof of funds(bank statements, income statements/payslips), do you think that they will question my access to the funds as well? Kasi parang nag fafall sa same scenario ng situation mo eh.

    JUNE 20 2013 = PASSED MY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS TRU EMAIL
    JULY 10 2013 = embassy emails me na d pwede ung show money ko na 1.3 m dahil nasa investment fund siya and i have to complete lahat ng show money ko in 8 days.
    JULY 15 2013 = emailed embassy na kung pwede ilipat ko ung pera ko sa investment fund sa eastwest bank na sabi nila pwede daw ung east west ko
    JULY 22 2013 = nag reply na ang embassy about my funds then they told me n kailangan ng mga certificate galing sa bank n ung funds ko ay nailipat ko tlaga sa eastwest from BDO then they ask for an extension letter galing sa school ;)
    JULY 24 2013 = passed my new certificates from the bank na ang show money ko na investment fund ko from bdo ay nilipat ko sa eastwest ( wait na lang ako ng letter from school )
    JULY 25 2013 = recieved my extension letter from my school until aug 2 then if d pa din lumabas ang visa ko within next week
    next intake na akk w/c is aug 22 then na email ko na sa embassy today ung extension letter ko
    JULY 22 2013 = recieved an email from the embassy na natangap na nila ung additional docs ko
    AUG 1 2013 = nag email nmn sila na d pa nila n rereceive and documents ko 3 bes ko n un sa kanila ni send !!!!!!!
    AUG 13 2013 =hard copy na ng bagong COE ang pinasa ko sa piasi
    d na ako umabot sa first intake so na mive ang intake ko ng aug 26
    AUG 14 2013 = nagtxt na ang embassy sa akin na natanggap ma nila ang bagong COE ko
    AUG 16 2013 = got email na VISA GRANT NA

    ang dami ngyari sa saglit kong nawala..

    @pepper tawag ka sa idp manila, ito num nila: 8160755 local 116 sbihin mo lahat sa councilor mo ngyari sa application mo. even ung affidavit ng proof of funds kasi may copy sila na iedit mo lang tas un na ipa-pass mo.

    @chill_ice kelan daw nirefer sa MOC ung sau? may binigay na date? go lang sa interview. paghandaan mo, at least nasabihan ka. ung iba ata biglaan lang. and good thing na-priority ung medical mo.. mkapag-email nga ulit sa knila by augus

    @caiomhe10 according sa idp no need ng proof of funds kahit may dependent kang kasama. may agency ka ba?

    Yes, eto ibigay mo sa DIAC - 'The applicant is also required to demonstrate that that this minimum amount has been held for at least three (3) months immediately before the date of the application.'
    tapos affidavit of support na may special instruction na you are allowed to access his/her fund.

    June 27 - Medical Results uploaded 4 June
    July1 - Follow up again
    July 6 (Sat) - CO Allocated
    July 9 - sent/asking Visa status update to my CO
    July 9, (PM) - We seek to finalise your visa application in the next 3 days- replied from Embassy
    July 12 - Embassy asked for update COE/Late arrival letter from my course provider
    July 15 - submit my updated COE to my CO Mr as per advised my Ms
    July 16 - acknowledged my submitted docs and they're aware of my new commencement date and my papers still on process.....

    July 23 - submitted Affidavit of support, bank history from my auntie
    July 25 - received a visa refusal letter..
    Reason for Visa Refusal
    These funds were not considered because the applicant has not provided evidence of regular income from her financial supporter.

    @tenseako no dates mentioned. Basta sabi they are apologizing for d delay but my application was on priority now. As in wala binanggit kung ilang weeks aabutin. Tapos telephone interview nga daw. Hopefully, kayanin ko. Wag lang unahan ng nerbyos.

    @PampangasBest papuntahin mo si uncle mo sa lawyer, tell him to get an affidavit of support. The lawyer knows what to do. Ang kelangan from your uncle is an afidavit of support, proof of funds(bank statement) and proof of income(employment cert or biz permit). Nakalagay sa affidavit of support na yung uncle mo will shoulder your/and your dependents expenses during your duration of stay/study sa OZ) - yung sa akin nga nilagay pa ang course pero masters in nursing nilagay. Inokeyhan lang sa IDP. If I were you, I would seek assistance nalang sa IDP, but do it fast kasi sa dami nang clients, medyo mabagal ang exchange/relay nang communications with IDP as middleman. Yan lang yung disadvantage sa IDP. Best of luck sa application niyo! :)

    @pepper - may bayad na ang IDP? bakit ganun? dahil ba 2nd attempt niyo na sa application? or nagbago na talaga sila and nag chacharge na? pepper PM mo email mo sa akin padala ko sayo sample affidavit ko...or wait...try kong ipost

    tnx tenseako.. try ko minsan pnta sa idp.. kuha ulit aq ielts kc general ielts mron n ako.. so ngaun mgtake nmn aq academic..sa september ako magielts.. schools, im still scouting..kaya ngbabasa ako dito sa forum pra mlaman sang school mgnda mgenroll at ok ang fee, un clinical placement at location.. may 2 n ako schools na nalista, flinders at deakin.. ngchecheck pa ako ng iba pang schools na nagoofer ng bs nursing 1 yr course.. baka may lam ka pa inform mo ako.. :-)

    hi all. maglolodge na po kami ng visa namin... just want to ask re. my passport info. yung name ko kasi doon maiden name pa. my husband wanted to change it to his surname. eh may offer letter na from the school under my maiden name? Any suggestion? pwede bang ang visa ko under my maiden name tapos pa change of name ako sa passport after?

    @pepper just read your visa application status. ikaw lang ba ang nagpunta at nag apply ng visa mo and no help from IDP?

    ~ 573 SVP with 1 dependent ~

    May 31 - applied online at University website
    June 17 - Uni sent a message that they approved 14 credits for prior learning.
    June 21 - Uni emailed: move my intake to Feb 2014.
    July 5 - Passed IELTS! Yipee. Emailed Uni my result.
    July 16 - Received conditional OFFER LETTER from Uni. :)
    July 19 - sent my TOR to Uni.
    July 22 - Uni received my TOR
    July 24 - received my UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
    July 31 - paid tuition fees and received COE
    Sept 16 - lodged visa application 573 SVP with one dependent thru VIA
    Sept 17 - acknowledgement from embassy with medical request.
    Sept 18 - Medical Examination at NHSI
    Sept 24 - Medical forwarded to Embassy
    Oct 4 - Phone interview with CO.
    Oct 7 - Emailed immi asking for updates
    Oct 8 - Received email from immi stating application is under assessment.
    Oct 9 - Received text message from Air 21 and Embassy that my documents has been dispatched.
    Oct 9 - visa refusal! :(

    @bbgirl ang alam ko dapat updated ang status na iddeclare mo sa student visa, kasi di mo madadala si hubby. and macacancel ang visa mo once malaman nilang married ka na pala tas d mo inuupdate. un ang pagkakaalam ko ah.. pde naman ata humingi ng offer sa school na updated na ang status mo e. try mo ask sa idp. :)

    Subclass 573 - SVP
    ELICOS for 12 weeks + BS Nursing
    ELICOS commencing on October 24, 2013

    April 15 2013 - letter offer from QUT
    June 3, 2013 - paid tuition fee
    June 10, 2013 - accepted offer
    June 20, 2013 - eCOE given
    June 26, 2013 - visa lodge via IDP
    June 27, 2013 - visa lodgment confirmation text received
    July 2, 2013 - informed for medical
    July 3, 2013 - medicals done
    July 5, 2013 - medicals uploaded. NHSI informed me that there's no need for additional tests.
    July 6, 2013 - medical results referred to MOC, informed that decision will be made after approximately 8 weeks from the date of referral.
    August 13, 2013 - embassy informed me that my medical clearance was issued and will strive to finalize my visa as soon as possible.
    Augsut 16, 2013 - VISA GRANT! :D
    August 17, 2013 - received a text message from DIAC that my passport/documents was dispatched to the courier for delivery

    @caiomhe10 wala ka ba kamag-anak or kakilala? hanap ka dun sa state na may mga kakilala ka na. mas okay kung may skul ka ng pupunta sa idp, kasi lam ko pag sa knila k pa papahanp ng school na pde sau may bayad ata na 1,500. much better din na 2yrs kunin mo kung plan mo mag-pr after. :)

    hi all. maglolodge na po kami ng visa namin... just want to ask re. my passport info. yung name ko kasi doon maiden name pa. my husband wanted to change it to his surname. eh may offer letter na from the school under my maiden name? Any suggestion? pwede bang ang visa ko under my maiden name tapos pa change of name ako sa passport after?

    - sa PR visa application it doesn't matter kung maiden...
    - maiden name (not changing to married name) is independent of your marital status
    - you can declare na married ka, but have been using maiden name..
    - there are other nationalities na hindi naman talaga nag papalit ng maiden name kahit married na sila... so why would that be an issue..

    so my opinion, that should be okay.. use your maiden name, but declare status as "married"...
    your marriage certificate is enough proof that you are indeed married..
    you can continue to use your maiden....

    on the changing to married name in your passport "AFTER" visa grant.
    - sa PR visa applications, may form na pwede fill-upan to change details of passport
    - para ma update nila system ng DIAC, at hindi ka magkaproblem sa immigration..

    so im assuming if this is applicable sa student visa...
    to confirm.. check your friendly student visa advisor.. ;)

    @bbgirl ayun explanation ni @lock_code2004 di ko kasi kabisado ung mga nasabi ko mejo nasearch ko lang sya dati sa immi.gov.au and case to case basis din tlaga sya. and much better talaga kung mgpa-appointment ka sa IDP kasi lahat ng tanong mo masasagot. once naman ngstart na kayo ng processing kahit through phone mo nlng kausapin ung counselor mo everytime may question ka, okay na un. no need for appointment everytime may question ka. :)
