I recommend to contact your closest HR, preferably your line manager, and talk to them in private. I have written the employer testimonial myself that agrees with my actual job, so they can just simply print it on company letter head and sign.

To maximise yung points na pwede i-claim, for all employers over the last 10 years.

Unfortunately, mabibisto ka nga sa migration plans mo kung hihingi ka ng testimonial from your current employer.

Thank you @wandergorl and @Pretsels! Nakaisip na ako actually ng reason hehe I can do this. I just had 2 employers naman, so yung current lang ang worry ko hehe. Medyo close kasi ako sa boss ko kaya mas hesitant ako ipaalam na may plans ako umalis, considering binigyan nila kami ng all-expenses-paid company trip to AU.

I have another concern po, CPA Australia skill assessment requires Transcript, diploma and syllabus. I have my Diploma (yung malaking papel pa to na may hard cover haha), plus yung TOR way back 2017, I think ginamit ko sya for the CPA exam? I forgot.

My question would be: do those documents expire? I mean, do I need to request a new one for the specific purpose of application for a migration visa? And does the school provide that syllabus document? I have no idea regaring these, medyo limited din po kasi yung time ko para mag asikaso nito, I gotta plan in advance kung kelan ako maglleave for these

Hello, transcript and diploma doesn't expire, pwede mo po iutilize yung same na documents that you have since then. For the syllabus, case to case basis I think depending on the school, better to get in touch po sa university nyo to check if they can release. All the best!

"A self-written summary outlining your employment history, or just a simple word file will do? Grabe feel ko etong skill assessment yung pinaka hassle sa lahat ng steps e. I asked my friend na waiting nalang sa visa grant nya, he's an engineer and hindi naman daw ganito ka hassle mag apply ng 189 visa T.T

Magandang araw po mga kabayan! Kaka-grant ko lang po last month ng 189 visa pero Engr kasi ako. May kapatid ko kasi akong gagraduate next year ng Accountancy naman. Itatanong ko lang po sana kung yung CPAA Skills Assessment eh uubra na galing sa Undergraduate Projects or OJT o dapat po ba purely galing sa skilled related work experience? Sa EA po kasi pwede kami magpasa ng galing sa undergraduate thesis projects. Baka lang po may makatulong sakin san ako dapat magbasa-basa para matulungan ko po kapatid ko as early as now. Pero magbackread din po ako sa thread na ito. Salamat po.

Hello, you can just do a simple word file outlining yung summary of experiences mo. What I did was a simple table sa word doc, 5 columns -- Employer Name, Roles/Position Titles, Start and End Date, Number of working hours, Last Drawn salary.. tapos I arrange mo lang sya from present to former. Feel free to add columns if you feel na okay. Ganyan talaga, madugo documentation pag 189/190, focus and keep your eye on the goal. God bless you!

Mejo kabado din ako sa assessment ng CPAA if I submit my assessment request kasi magkaiba yung exp ko (2 years Audit, 3.5 years all around AU accountant sa pinas). I have also heard na Accounting is one of the hardest occupations to earn PR, kahit nasa skill shortage list sya for all states If I get positive assessment from CPAA, I will be standing at 75 points for 189, plus 10 if I get superior from PTE.

Hoping to get invited with that level of points!

In my case, my 2 years external audit din ako, then 2 years as inventory analyst in oil & gas, all have been credited by CPAA as working experience as an Accountant. So long as the JD is written close to the responsibilities of an Accountant, that will work. Dont worry!

If you want to claim points for your experience then you need to provide the employment reference letters

They don’t need to know it’s for visa. It can be for a loan, graduate studies etc

In my case, bookkeeper ang job title for almost 3 years (although accountant ang work) - working in a BPO company here in Makati, AU company ang client.
After that pa lang na-change yung job title to accountant. I-declare ko pa ba yung first 3 years work as bookkeeper?

Hello, I would suggest put the real title that you have -- as title/role name, ilagay mo po as bookkeeper and then explain in detail yung job description. CPAA assess not on the title itself but on the roles and responsibilities - draft it in a way na mahighlight yung accounting roles. All the best!

Wala po kasing official copy ng syllabus yung university namin kasi it was 2012 pa daw. Ang meron lang daw po is yung Course description consisting nung list of subject codes, names and one paragraph description.

Altho pa lipat2 ako roles. Pano nyo na state ang testimonials nyo and ung reference how many signature dapat? I have kasi job descriptions pero di complete like from the last 3 yrs kaya gusto ko ako na lang mag draft testimonials tapos pa sign ko na lang sa

Are you referring to the self summary? May nag suggest dito na do word file and then put lang sa columt ung details ng work mo. Di ko pa nga din naggawa ung saken haha

You can submit everything at the same time or to follow yung employment docs. Most of the cases we handle we submit everything at the same time but there are some where clients need a bit of time to collate employment docs so what we do, whilst these are being sorted out, we go ahead with skills assessment

i mean yung employer testimonial. close na kasi yung 2 previous employers ko so di na makapagrequest ng COE. so ang alternative ay yung statutory declaration daw. May nakapag-submit na po ba ng ganito sa CPAA? pwede bang affidavit?
