WITHDRAWAL OF VISA APPLICATION AND THEN REAPPLYING

Hello guys. Just want to ask your thoughts and experience on this one. We were asked for sputum and xray repeat for medicals for 1 year visitor visa, but then it would require 3 more months bago ang result. We are thinking to withdraw the visa and reapply for 3 months na lang instead of 1 year kasi we need my mother in law here by Feb 2017. Btw, I am due to deliver my baby in march 2017 that's why we need her.

What's your experience with withdrawing a visa and reapplying for the same type of visa afterwards? I know my records sila ng lahat kaya I am worried na marefuse yung reapplication namin

Up for this thread. Ako naman, I claimed 5 points sa Australian Study Requirement. As per my CO, based daw sa mga documents na sinubmit ko eh hindi ko na-meet yung 5 points nung Australian Study Requirement. I was invited with 65 points sa EOI, however, as per CO's assessment, 60 points lang daw ako. Although it meets the minimum requirement for a visa subclass 189, there is a rule as per CO na yung points should not be less than the points I declared when I submitted my EOI. Haaays, I don't know what to do.

Need advice kung iwwithdraw ko na ba yung application ko or iintayin ko yung advice ni CO.
At pano yung binayad namin, marerefund pa ba or bye bye na?

Nakakalungkot lang kasi isipin na yung time and effort baka masayang lang dahil sa wrong claim na 5 points.
