Misconceptions about IELTS

Hello! I'm wondering why people have different views about IELTS. I think it is actually a good measure of your English capacity and more accepted in different institutions. Why do you think people shy away from IELTS and take other type of tests instead?

unfortunately because IELTS is becoming about business... they have this quota of passers. even if you are good they will mark you fail such as in speaking and writing
