how to get odd jobs in Melbourne?

I was hooked on reading this thread.. truly inspiring and at the same time nakikita natin yung totoong buhay ng mga migrants.. hindi lahat puro success stories, napakaraming struggles.

Pero with resilience and perseverance, and most of all prayers, magiging success stories din in the end..

@wizardofoz, yup tama ka bro.. Lahat naman ng kakilala ko nagging ok after a while.. Una lang talaga mahirap.. Ang key is wag mag give up... In my case it took me almost a year bago ako nakahanap ng work sa field ko.

Another job idea is PSO for Victoria police. Exam then physical exam then interview tapos training na.. Good pay sha and I think good change career din.

@wizardofoz Hahaha kame din laging nanonood ng border security.. Nagtry din ako mag apply sa PSO before.. Did the exam and may schedule na for physical exam pero I withdrew my application kasi natangap na ako sa IT work na inapplyan ko.

unfortunately, ang isa sa minimum requirements is dapat Australian citizen ka. medyo matagal na hintayan pero kung talagang wala nang pag-asa na makahanap ng trabaho na in-line sa experience, ok na rin maging PSO. hehe!

Ang assumption ko lang kasi mga last quarter ng taon may not be a good timing with the upcoming shutdowns and holiday seasons..

Sabi ng nababasa ko dito best daw is april-july kasi end and start ng financial year. Pero golden rule is asap daw except december kasi everyday may dumadating na migrants looking for jobs
