Hi all!

Merun po bang applicant dito sa January 2015 na nabigyan na ng invitation from Victoria?
Curious din ako if there are applicants na successful ang sponsorship with Victoria recently. i know a few people na rejected. there's even one who has a total points of 80 that was rejected recently. i wonder what Victoria is really looking for in terms of qualification and experience.

It feels sad to hear such news. Sabi sa ibang forum, marami rin na reject na applications in Victoria.

hi @Xiaomau82, wala po ako relative sa Vic.. In my opinion I suppose satisfied cla sa 3 factors on my application i.e. resources, commitment and employability.. Resources: although not required eh binigyan ko tlaga cla ng formal account balance to show them that I have enough resources to support my family in AU.. Commitment: Wala ako relatives sa ibang state and I explained to them what I really like about Vic/Melbourne since hiningan nla ako ng essay.. Employability: pinaliwanag ko na din sa essay ang prospective employers ko pagdatin dun and nakatulong cgro na may office dn kmi sa Melbourne kaya pwede ako magpalipat sa melbourne office namin sakaling ma-grant.. Hello po, meron po ba nag apply for Vic nomination recently and naapprove and ilang points po meron kayo nung nag apply? 55 points lang kasi inabot ko kaya need ko ng state sponsorship, pero im worried kasi may iba na narereject kahit mataas ang points. I'm applying under Developer Programmer pero I've been working here in Victoria for more than 1 year na under 457 and in my nominated occupation.

si @speedmark yung latest if im not mistaken. but in my opinion, your chances is high since youre already there in Vic for work. i would encourage you to apply lalo wala nmn other states na available than Vic. you wouldnt know unless u try di ba

And since andyan kna sa melboune, established na ang commitment mo da state and employability since may work ka rn dyan. Wala sa pts yan, may mga kakilala dn ako d2 sa forum 55 pts nominated by vic. @papajay07 merun naman naaprove pero mabagal and yung iba mabilis naman. Mahirap talaga tantyahin. Sa kabila forum pansin ko pag Indian na rereject and sponsorship request sa VIC after 10-12 weeks. Sobra tagal naman.

Curious lang ako dito, "April 10, 2015 -- no more quota for ICT for fiscal year 2014-15 bwisit!". Ano po ibig sabihin nyan? Ano po ba ang sakop ng fiscal year 2014-15? Thanks!

fiscal year covers 1st of july 2014 to 30th of june 2015.

Hi all.

Kakarating ko lang sa Pinas after 3 months sa Melbourne. I studied there and got my Registered Nurse registration before I went back here. Nag apply na rin ako for skills assessment before ako umalis doon. Alam kong may isang document pa akong kulang pero to follow na lang once available.

Currently, nagbabasa ako for PR application at undecided pa ako between visa 189 at 190. I think may 60 points naman na ako. At alam ko rin mas okay ang 189 kasi kahit saan sa Australia pwede akong magstay (priority ang makahanap ng work). However, I am not confident with my 60 points in terms na baka mas matagal siya dahil maraming kakompetensiya kaya I am looking for state sponsorship to make it 65 points.

With my stay sa Melbourne for 3 months, nagustuhan ko naman dito at gusto kong mag start magtanong about 190 sponsorship sa VIC. Since I am still waiting for my skills assessment and looking forward for it to come by end of June to end of July.

May kakilala kasi akong RNs na nagpa state sponsor sa VIC ng July at napakabilis ng approval/invite for them sa month na ito compared sa ibang months. May nagsabi pa sa akin na may kilala siyang 8 hours lang approved agad ito sa VIC. Di ko alam kung anong meron sa July, maybe because start ng fiscal year, kaya ganoon.

Ano po bang masasuggest ninyo sa akin in between 189 at 190 especially timeline? Ano pang mas mapapabilis?

I am on multiple entry visitor visa at bala bumalik ako by end of May at onshore na ako mag apply.

ithink your 60 points to apply under 189 for an RN is fine. based sa occupational ceilings report almost 14% lang ung taken. Syempre iba pa din ung 189 kesa state sponsored. Kung mabilis lng nmn ung application sa Victoria, my suggestion e try mo submit ng EOI for 189, khit mga 1 month lang to see whether mainvite kaba. If not then, apply na ng sponsorship.

my suggestion, Since free namn ang EOI mas advisable na mag create ng separate EOI. 1 for SC190 and 1 for SC189. Then sa SC 190, just select Victoria since sa Vic ka namn mag apply ng state nomination.

Same po tayo ng pagkakaintindi in terms of SC 189.

Nag apply na ako ng SS sa VIC pero di pa ao nag submit ng EOI ito kasi yung nasa steps sa website nila. pede na rin ba mag submit ng EOI kahit di pa approve ang SS?

@FrenchMilk di ba required ang EOI number sa SS application? in other states kasi dapat may EOI number ka kasi pag naapproved ang state sponsorship mo, automatic kang invited ng DIBP
